Sharon Tate's sister: Polanski won't get fair trial in US
The sister of Roman Polanski's murdered first wife says he won't get a fair trial in the "broken" US justice system
Speaking on NBC's Today Show, Debra Tate defended the Oscar-winning director."There's rape and then there's rape," she said. "It was determined that Roman did not forcibly have sex with this woman. It was a consensual matter."
"I do believe that our system is extremely broken on [multiple] levels," she said.
She said that several years ago she had sought to persuade Polanksi to return and face justice.
"I was under the impression that there was misconduct in the political genre itself and that based on that perhaps he could get a fair trial here," she said. "Since then, speaking with the district attorney's office, I agree that Roman could not necessarily be dealt with in a fair manner here in the US. I think that this matter better be served in France."

She was not a woman. She was thirteen years old--a girl.
The end.

So this woman and Anjelica Houston would be fine with an adult having sex with their child as long as the child wanted it ?

What trash. She had to have been paid off by Polanski. When her sister was being buried Polanski was hitting on her sister’s good friend.

It wasn't a woman, it was a child.

Is she the same sister who said Jennifer Lawrence wasn't pretty enough to play Sharon?

The "the political genre"?
Genre? WTF is that? This woman is very inarticulate and none too bright.

But Sharon Tate's sister campaigns against Leslie Van Houten, who is now 70, every time there is a parole hearing. The Tate/La Bianco murders happened 51 years ago. Van Houten stabbed Rosemary LaBianca after she had already died at the hands of fellow Manson member, Tex Watson.

She basically makes a living off of her dead sister’s legacy.

So what? By the way, Leslie Van Houten, along with her cohorts, broke into the home or Rosemary and Leno LaBianca. She helped Patricia Krenwinkel subdue Rosemary LaBianca; they both attacked her. While she was down on the floor, Van Houten stabbed her again and again and again. She may or may not have still been alive. Afterwards, Van Houten helped Watson and Krenwinkel clean up; she wiped fingerprints, washed, etc. Then they all had a snack with food from the LaBianca's refrigerator. Van Houten is a Manson family member, a sociopath. Of course Tate would want her to stay in prison. She was part of the gang that murdered her pregnant sister.
