How can one find that which never existed?

We've been presided over by a HUSK!
I suggest everyone familiarize themselves with Skin-walkers.

NYT is only making Covid related news free.

It's doesn't exist. He's not human. A hardcore narcissistic sociopath, we been knew
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 6, 2020 3:16 PM |
He doesn't have one. It's not a religious thing, it's a human thing. Born without empathy
em·pa·thy noun... the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.
That is the soul. It's a birth defect, a pre-existing condition.

R4 here. Wanted to add, does this bitch ever moisturize her skin? She looks awful AND ashy as fuck. Nasty, all the way around
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 6, 2020 3:18 PM |
"he's just like us" scream the rallies.....this is perhaps even more frightening....that amongst us an estimated 3 out of every 10 Americans do not care about anyone else but themselves and are malicious to the point of evil towards their fellow Americans.
Time to bring back shunning and the stocks.

I love Frank Bruni; I think he's one of their best columnists. What I liked about today's column is that he readily acknowledges he had low expectations for Trump, but even Trump was more craven, heartless & narcissistic than originally estimated.
When I read columns like "I don't think Trump cares about human rights!" - my reaction is DUH! But to openly calculate that you don't give a shit about thousands of people dying because they probably wouldn't have voted for you anyway...well, that's just a new low. Though having said that, I don't think we're even close to the bottom with Trump

Even though I'm not about 'punishment' or hatred of others, a little shame goes a long way. Just ask a catholic.

Hate: you're soaking in it, America.

R9- Trump's supporters are just like the insane fans who show up on DL-- the Chalamet, Hiddleston, Janet Jackson, Larries, etc.
They've made him a deity. Nothing he does can possibly be wrong. It is always someone else's fault or they'll claim he "meant well" and was "only trying to cheer people up" or some other bullshit.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 6, 2020 4:33 PM |
When this comes to and end, the Dumps think they just stack all of the money they made from it and leave Scott free.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 6, 2020 4:47 PM |
My retired Dad was all in on Trump so long as the stock market was booming & he watches Fox Business News all day long, which just reinforces his belief that Dump is practically printing $$ for people like him; I'd say that he might have second thoughts now that the bottom has dropped out, but like so many Dump supporters, I think he's too invested to ever admit for one second that perhaps he was wrong.

He had his soul gold plated and it is sitting in Trump Tower.

Remember that the Germans followed Hitler up until the end.
They weren't rebelling (in large numbers) or trying to get rid of him.
It was only after the war, when the Allies revealed the atrocities the Germans had committed, that they were somehow given permission to say that he was evil AF because they could claim that they had "no idea" what was going on.
Trumpists will need a similar out, a thing they can point at and say "I would not have supported him if I'd know that"
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 6, 2020 5:46 PM |
Germans deserted in a great numbers once hitler made it clear at the end that they weren't the chosen race, that they deserved to all die and that only by destroying the country entirely would he be vindicated.

R15, yep, and that gold toilet has shit on it.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 6, 2020 7:36 PM |
We knew this in 2016. THIS is why I was in such a panic on election night, even as my husband and relatives assured me that everything would be okay, that his advisors would keep him in check, that the media would keep him in check, that Congress would keep him in check. THIS is exactly where we landed, and it's exactly where I thought we would land when 60 million idiots chose to give a monster all the power.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 6, 2020 7:52 PM |
R21, it never fails to gall, does it? Most of us knew he was evil, but so many suckers bought the snake oil. But then he cheated then and will again. It makes me so angry.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 6, 2020 7:59 PM |
Being a NY'er and knowing who he was, I and my friends still can't fathom he has a cult following who will defend him even if Grandma dies. It's truly bizarre.

Too little too late NYT. They spent all their time attacking Hilary Clinton when they were fully aware of how bad Trump was . I'd love to see an expose on the New York Times (and other mainstream media outlets behavior ) during 2016. Maybe a Netflix documentary about their enabling of Trump . A good public shaming is in order .
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 6, 2020 11:34 PM |
I cannot understand that argument R24
Do you think that the people in Flyoverstan who voted for Trump read the New York Times or even vaguely care what it has to say? They think the Times is evil and any dis of Hillary was likely points for her.
Conversely, do you think any of the Times readers in NY, NJ, CT and other blue states read the Times and thought "Oh that Hillary is awful! I am going to vote for Trump! MAGA!!" (Hint: Trump did not win any of those states.)
So other than parroting one of the "99 Reasons I Lost To A Reality TV Show Host (But I Was A Lousy Candidate Ain't One) what is the point?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 6, 2020 11:48 PM |
R25 Of course it mattered. Everyone knew that Fox had it out for the Clinton's but when people on the fence hear "respectable non biased " outlets echo right wing talking points again and again they think that there maybe something to it after all. People like you think that there is no such thing as a swing voter but these people exist. Not particularly conservative or liberal, and yes they can be swayed by media coverage. Even if had no sway on these people (debatable ), the unrelenting attacks and nitpicking about both Clintons ' was inexcusable when they were dealing with a candidate like Trump .
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 6, 2020 11:59 PM |
[quote] Even if had no sway on these people (debatable ), the unrelenting attacks and nitpicking about both Clintons ' was inexcusable when they were dealing with a candidate like Trump .
And the backtracking begins
Because "swing voters" in the states Trump won are not New York Times readers.
And the Times did highlight many bad things that Trump did. To an audience that mostly thought he was a clown.
They also gave Clinton a ringing endorsement.
You just focused on the times they attacked Her.
Because how dare anyone have the temerity to say anything remotely negative about Her!!

From the Hillary-Hating NYT Endorsement Of The Candidate They Hated:
[quote] In any normal election year, we’d compare the two presidential candidates side by side on the issues. But this is not a normal election year. A comparison like that would be an empty exercise in a race where one candidate — our choice, Hillary Clinton — has a record of service and a raft of pragmatic ideas, and the other, Donald Trump, discloses nothing concrete about himself or his plans while promising the moon and offering the stars on layaway. [bold](We will explain in a subsequent editorial why we believe Mr. Trump to be the worst nominee put forward by a major party in modern American history.)
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 7, 2020 12:14 AM |
I mean hell, if I read that, I'd jump off the fence so fast to vote for Donald Trump my MAGA hat would fall off
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 7, 2020 12:15 AM |
We were in tears when this person was installed. The tears were mocked. Now? we may die of covid, and if we recover have no jobs or income waiting for us.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 7, 2020 12:18 AM |
R27 There is a difference between discussing the Clintons ' flaws and relentlessly obsessing over them like the NYT has for decades while glossing over the problems of other candidates. An endorsement doesn't make up for their extreme and pathological bias that had gone on for years. New York Times would have endorsed any dem. And you do realize that NYT is essentially a national publication? People in the Midwest or swing states read them , not ONLY New Yorkers or NYC metropolitan area residents.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 7, 2020 12:23 AM |
I hate to go such a cliched armchair psychologist route but I sort of wonder about Trumps parents. Most presidential candidates at least pay lip service to their parents, their mothers in particular. I can't recall Trump speaking much at all about his childhood or relationship with his family. I read that lack of early childhood bonding with caretakers can result in personality disorders...
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 7, 2020 1:46 AM |
It's funny:
The H-Bottoms feel that the NYT was terribly prejudiced against Her. (see R32 et al)
The BernieBros feel that the NYT was a Clinton mouthpiece that ignored and mocked Bernie while glorifying her.
MAGAts feel the NYT is the mouthpiece of the devil, Ground Zero for libtard-ism and Trump never misses an opportunity to talk about what a terrible newspaper it is and how they never treat him fairly.
Reminds me of that Indian fable of the blind men describing an elephant.

R16 a point was made. I know children of narcissists and they are ruined in a way. Usually they are bleeding a weird mix of hatred and empathy, but Trump just got 100% hatred.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 7, 2020 10:47 PM |
A sociopath doesn't have a soul. In other words--and in less ethereal language: Trump doesn't have a fucking conscience. This is a lost cause in trying to get to him. He must be defeated and thrown into the trash bin of history. Trump is sickening and should be buried alive.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 7, 2020 10:58 PM |
R37 is correct. We cannot save him and save ourselves, too. He has to go.
