This beautiful, hilarious woman still knocks me out to this day.

Oh SHIT! It’s Primetime??
Why do I always seem to post a good thread when Primetime kicks in?
Come back later fans, and share your thoughts.
Bang Bang CrashCrashCrash.

Are we out of Primetime yet? Can we get on with the Teri love now?
She’s not lost a drop of her magic.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 4, 2020 3:36 AM |
That storytelling, HA! If I could back with half the talent of Teri Garr...
Fucking hysterical.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 4, 2020 3:41 AM |
Yeah, we’re here OP.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 4, 2020 3:43 AM |
Is this from a while back? I imagine she’s not well enough to do anything like this now and I feel like this was posted before.
Still, love her, so thanks.

According to The Moth, r6, it’s recent.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 4, 2020 3:51 AM |
She is magical. Damn!
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 4, 2020 3:56 AM |
It’s the way she rushes through her upsetting sentences, a signature, and winds it all up into a somehow-how-does-this-happen-all-of-to-us punchline.

I am so sad that my Teri Garr thread is dying. I love her so much.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 4, 2020 4:14 AM |
From the pic it looks like she got her final revenge on the BF by eating him.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 4, 2020 4:19 AM |
Oh, that’s nice, r13, I’m glad your take away from all of this was a cheap joke on our precious Teri Garr.
If you only knew what she’s been through.
Let’s just agree to smother you in a grease fire, hmm? Yes, here we go..., first I’ll wrap you in a a french fry. Somebody prep the salt.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 4, 2020 6:28 AM |
It’s from 2009 OP and R13 is a cunt. The prednisone and MS meds caused the change in her appearance though I think her face isn’t as puffed out as it once was. Teri had a serious health scare not too long ago.

Anyone remember the Herbert Ross guy (Ben)?
This thread would trigger him because he thought Teri Garr was evil.
Something about how she didn't fawn at his feet when he complimented her at a table read?
It seems Teri is BELOVED by the industry. I'm not industry, but have always loved her. First saw her in Young Frankenstein.

Wow, she's a great storyteller, so naturally funny. Very Sandy Lester from Tootsie - maybe that was really her and not Teri playing a character!
She should release a story telling digital download
(I was going to say CD, but does anyone buy CD's anymore? They've become the Ladies Who Lunch 'does anyone still wear a hat?')
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 4, 2020 9:56 AM |
I loved her in Firstborn with Peter Weller and Corey Haim (and SJP and Robert Downey Jr.)
I was a teenager and when the sons caught Teri doing coke I was SHOCKED I tell you!
Now I'm going to have to watch some Teri online.

She has the gift of making her anger funny.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 4, 2020 10:10 AM |
R6 It's from 2004.

I've always wanted to see Waiting for the Light (with Shirley MacLaine eating the scenery whole) and Full Moon and Blue Water with Gene Hackman because it was filmed in my home town.
They seem a bit hard to find to watch these days.

Wow, this is really that old? Thanks all, I just pulled it up on the front page of The Moth, looked new to me.
I’m appreciative most of you took a moment to listen anyway.
The girl is hilarious!
I’ve listened several times already. She’s a national treasure, and for the first time I really mean it. I mean, I love you Susan Richardson, but you are no Teri Garr.

Yeah no, definitely not.
Excellent podcast, I hadn’t heard it before. Cheers, Teri.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 4, 2020 2:29 PM |
R15, what was the recent health scare?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 4, 2020 2:32 PM |
She’s film, r22.
I’m primarily television, thanks to blacklisting by Spielberg and Stresand.
Teri and I are not in competition.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 4, 2020 2:36 PM |
You and Shirley MacClaine’s dog Terry the Terrier aren’t either, r26.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 4, 2020 3:01 PM |
R16 oh dear I remember those stories and I never put much stock in them. She definitely does seem the type who is not a kiss ass (good for her!) and doesn’t suffer fools gladly, and can be very blunt, but I think that’s why we love her , and that’s very different from being a bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 4, 2020 8:42 PM |
About r21’s clip: thank you, I’m on a hunt for that movie now.
Never heard of it, so thanks. Love the Willie Nelson score on the clip.
Damn, r21, I should buy you a coffee. Cheers.

Something to look for next time TCM runs Ekvis movies. To get so many Elvis films there is no ways Teri wasn't doing him.
