There have been a lot more serious partners Joe has had over the years. His first was Brian who died from AIDS in 2001. There was also Paul who left before Travis joined.

Travis was damaged long before Joe found him r2. At 19 he already had a serious meth problem, not surprising considering his mother also had a serious meth problem. Kid had a rough childhood.
All these people in Joe Exotic's world were damaged people who had rough lives.

I thought it stunk that it was only two months after Travis was gone that he married Dillon. To me it seemed disrespectful/easily replaceable. But maybe I'm more sensitive to things like that than other people.
