Trump Says Federal Physical Distancing Recommendations to Be Extended to April 30

What? Didn't Trump say it would all be over by March 15?

by Anonymousreply 40March 30, 2020 12:38 PM

Jesus will weep on Easter Sunday when after he rises from the dead, he sees that the good American worker is still forced to stay at home.

Wrong R1. He would weep if we insisted on spreading disease just so some of us could feel righteous. Get a grip.

by Anonymousreply 2March 29, 2020 10:30 PM

We should celebrate Trump on Wednesday since he's the biggest FOOL in the world.

by Anonymousreply 3March 29, 2020 10:45 PM

No one in their right mind is going to be congregating for Eater just because of this dumbfuck. Of course he had to extend it.

by Anonymousreply 4March 29, 2020 11:12 PM

I meant Easter.

by Anonymousreply 5March 29, 2020 11:13 PM

Have US evangelicals started calling the COVID-19 pandemic the Rackture yet?

by Anonymousreply 6March 29, 2020 11:23 PM

Trump also says to expect “great things” by June. I guess he’s referring to all the deaths that will have happened by then.

Jesus is too busy giving Rush Limbaugh lung cancer.

by Anonymousreply 8March 29, 2020 11:27 PM

Stop dragging your feet Jesus! Call the asshole home.

by Anonymousreply 9March 29, 2020 11:31 PM

Done.

by Anonymousreply 10March 29, 2020 11:52 PM

Do these meen Mar-a-Lago not going to happin?

by Anonymousreply 11March 29, 2020 11:55 PM

I'm started to think Trump likes walking things back, it seems to be his favorite pastime.

by Anonymousreply 12March 30, 2020 1:18 AM

Fatboy claims the Easter reopening date was only "aspirational". LOL

by Anonymousreply 13March 30, 2020 1:22 AM

He craves attention. Couldn’t abide Fauci and Governors getting airtime for his virus.

Rump thinks it doesn’t matter what they say about you so long as they spell your name right.

by Anonymousreply 14March 30, 2020 1:25 AM

This means cushy office workers get to work from home till at least April 30 now.

by Anonymousreply 15March 30, 2020 1:35 AM

R12 he makes bombastic statements, then has no choice but to do what's more reasonable because of others in the white house.

by Anonymousreply 16March 30, 2020 1:38 AM

R15 - Yay!

by Anonymousreply 17March 30, 2020 1:39 AM

[quote]I'm started to think Trump likes walking things back, it seems to be his favorite pastime.

It's the only exercise he gets.

by Anonymousreply 18March 30, 2020 1:42 AM

What if God was one of us? Just a stranger among us, trying to make his way home!!!

by Anonymousreply 19March 30, 2020 1:51 AM

comment on a news story about this--

EXECUTIVE ORDER # 10654-

As of NOW....just stay away from me !! I am old, mentally disturbed, profoundly anti-academic, and could catch a virus at any moment from the grandkids. Plus, I wheeze when I make speeches already. Not to mention my pre- existing conditions....Bonespurs..

SO Just Stay Back 500 Feet. (Okay, So I borrowed the sign off a firetruck...I am President...If I do it it isn't illegal, remember?)

And don't forget who to vote for....if you do, I reminded you by having my LARGE SIGNATURE engraved on every rescue check.

Signed, Generalissimo Bonespurs.

"Dying... is a very unpleasant thing to go through"

Could this be the loopiest episode of "The Donald Trump Show" ever?

If he has to contradict himself in the course of making a wiser decision, then I'm not going to criticize. I still hate the asshole.

by Anonymousreply 22March 30, 2020 2:17 AM

It’s just that he never seems to be held accountable for his false pronouncements. He just waves them away, saying it’s nasty to ask him about them. Who believes a word this jerk says?

by Anonymousreply 23March 30, 2020 2:24 AM

R23 You rang?

So what will happen in May then?

by Anonymousreply 25March 30, 2020 3:00 AM

R25: They start lifting restrictions and everybody go back to work, church, party, fly etc...

by Anonymousreply 26March 30, 2020 3:07 AM

Every few days he has a press conference where he has to walk back, deny and flat out lie about everything he said in his last press conference

by Anonymousreply 27March 30, 2020 3:15 AM

R1 Jesus is pointing an accusatory finger at America while saying "away from me you evildoers, I never knew you." .

by Anonymousreply 28March 30, 2020 3:33 AM

How are those poor 15 people who have Covid-19? They were almost over it a few weeks ago.

by Anonymousreply 29March 30, 2020 3:45 AM

it's gone. it's like a miracle.

by Anonymousreply 30March 30, 2020 3:49 AM

"It will wash away... with the heat of April"

Timeline of Trump's incredibly wonderful response to Covid-19.

by Anonymousreply 32March 30, 2020 3:54 AM

Just resign, already.

by Anonymousreply 33March 30, 2020 7:00 AM

If it was Obama you'd say, "Isn't it great we have a president that takes current statistics and bases decisions on those."

But no you asshat are using a worldwide tragedy to promote your butthurt agenda.

by Anonymousreply 34March 30, 2020 7:38 AM

Easter is going to be difficult, considering it's the most important holiday in the year.

by Anonymousreply 35March 30, 2020 7:49 AM

[quote]If it was Obama

Don't even start, bitch.

by Anonymousreply 36March 30, 2020 8:07 AM

Hey, at least his COVID-19 briefings are a "ratings hit":

If it was Obama, r34, those lies, sweeping statements, press accusations and religious pandering wouldn’t be happening in the first place

by Anonymousreply 38March 30, 2020 9:32 AM

R22, the medical community has been pretty consistent in telling us what’s needed to be done. (They weren’t saying don’t worry, we’ll pretty much have business as usual, or thousands of ventilators aren’t needed or that 15 cases would soon drop to almost zero.)

Rump would not to have continually walk back and deny his previous statements if he weren’t so obdurately stupid to begin with.

His inconstancy needlessly agitates the lives of the people he was selected to lead.

by Anonymousreply 39March 30, 2020 9:42 AM

[quote]So what will happen in May then?

We'll all be dead.
