It's no theory. Meth stimulates the Central Nervous System. R7 When meth is ingested, it releases dopamine for a good feeling. However, norepinephrine is also released at the same time. It constricts blood vessels. The stronger the amount of meth used, the bigger chance the blood vessels tighten up enough to prevent an erection.
Soldiers were given amphetamines which acted as a stimulant to keep them awake. Methamphetamine has a slightly different molecular makeup which changes how it affects you.
