Trump SLAPS Cease & Desist For Attack Ad About Him
Trumps saying during a pandemic is not the time to air political attack ads
In a statement regarding the attack ad complaint, Priorities USA strategist Josh Schwerin called the move a “stunt.”
"We stand by the facts in the ad and will continue to make sure that Donald Trump is held accountable for his words and actions that are making this crisis even worse," Schwerin said.
Here is the ad Trump wants taken down as he says this is NOT helping things during this pandemic

Why should they take it down when it's in his own words?

There's nothing to enforce here. Keep the ads coming.
PS Mike Bloomberg - where your money at? I thought you were supposed to be buying ads to attack Trump?

They’ve shown their hand. Time for Priorities USA to DOUBLE their ad buy. I’m glad someone’s there to hit him over this now since that piece of shit sore loser Bloomberg went back on his word.

Of course the Orange Shitgibbon tries to throw a frivolous lawsuit to get his way. It's the only thing he knows.
I would happily donate to this PAC if it means the ad will go in heavy rotation. And on FOX News.

Total narcissist / sociopath move to claim to be a victim when, in fact, the truth is simply being revealed.
Donald is not just incompetent and stupid - he is a dangerous monster and must be stopped.

Great, keep hammering out these ads til the election -- make this pandemic his "emails"/"Benghazi"; at least this'll have merit.

I hope Bloomberg buys up tons of commercial airtime and floods the airwaves with something like this!

People are at home stuck watching TV and stuff online

Trump can go fuck himself. He'll never be able to stop this. And this is probably the best campaign ad against him I've seen in a long time. I hope they run it after every one of his fucking coronavirus briefings.

Now I know why that ad is so good. Priorities USA is the same group who created the devastating anti-Romney “Stage” ad, perhaps the best political ad in modern American history. When I saw it, I knew Romney wouldn’t win the election. These guys really know what they’re doing.

How can anyone support a man with a perpetual scowl?
Anyway, they should add, or have a new ad, saying he didn’t want to disembark that ship to increase the numbers; that his ratings were great; and that Easter will be a great time to reopen the economy, which it will not.

The ad should also include how he almost started a war with Iran, left the Kurds-- our ally-- to die, etc.
The urgent thing is our democracy will collapse if he's in.

Priorities has been running excellent ads on healthcare in western PA.

Sociopaths are notoriously good con artists, and even very bright people can occasionally be taken by one. But, at this point, a person has to be brain-dead to continue to believe a word that comes out of his mouth.

This is depressing. DL historians, when's the last time a presidency was this bad? 9/11 felt like it united us WAY better than humanity dying. The fuck is going on?

Uh, I hate to break it to these idiot rethugs but that whole "America first" PAC is just a money grab/money laundering operation.
If they bother to put out any ads, they will be lame and half baked because they aren't in to advertising. Just grabbing money and funneling it to fat Donnie and his grifting brats.

He's right, it's really bad taste to use a tragedy like this to promote a political agenda.
And if anyone did this while Obama was president you would have agreed.
It's not a matter of right or wrong, it's a matter of taste and dignity. It's like picketing a funeral. It's just wrong.

No, it's not. It's free speech. And it's a fact and it is what's happening right now. There's an ER doctor who wrote a letter published in the NYT or W. Post pleading for him to sign an emergency War act so they can have enough masks, gowns, PPE to protect themselves and ventilators. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it's not happening, asshole.
This is a crisis and he is unfit to handle a crisis.

R24 is an idiot or a nasty troll.
She doesn't get to cut free speech for taste and dignity for a monstrous rapist thug who thinks he can't be criticized for what he says and does.
R24, idiot or troll that she is, can cough until she needs a ventilator she won't find. She is the same enemy as the fascist GOP.

R24 Trump is in a position to save lives, but he does nothing, downplays the danger, and plays the "you have to be nice to me game" with governors instead of helping them (speaking of political agendas). More people will die BECAUSE of his inaction so yes, it is a matter of right and wrong. And you speak of bad taste? Your comment is in exceedingly bad taste. You are either obtuse or a troll.

This is what's so horrible and hideous about it. I am crying because people are going to die and he's refusing to declare a War Emergency Act. He's holding people hostage because it's a Blue State or someone disagreed or dislikes him. We're dealing with a madman and yet, HE'S HOLDING THE COUNTRY IN HOSTAGE.
