It's a hell of a lot more than tacky. My parents weren't married, and I had an older half-sister. If my dad had had the monumentally poor judgment to start fucking that teenage half-sister, take off with her and marry her, you'd better believe it would have thrown us all into total emotional and psychological chaos. People act like Soon-Yi wasn't a member of that family, that she and Woody were like two detached satellites that spun off together. Not true.
