Characters who have vanished from series still on TV

Roscoe Plunkett, Christy's son on Mom. Vanished 3 seasons ago - lives with dad and new wife. But there was no bad blood between Christy and Roscoe. Just written off. Annoying and lame.

Your turn.

I was glad they got rid of the lame son who looks Mexican but we are supposed to believe is the bio son of those two very White people.

What about the dotter?

by Anonymousreply 2March 23, 2020 2:19 AM

The title Mom is sort of a misnomer.

Sklyer or Kyler, but Roscoe?? He mostly seemed like a plot device to get us interested in the pothead father. I'm gad they got rid of Violet. She was unlikable and her story arc had nowhere to go.

I enjoyed the first season of Mom, then got rid of my TV for a few years, so lost track of the show. I was reading the Wikipedia entry for the show a few weeks ago and was shocked at how much the show has changed and all the characters dropped.

Is that trans character still on Grey's Anatomy? I never see them anymore.

by Anonymousreply 6March 23, 2020 2:48 AM

They probably got dropped in favour of Jamie Pressly and Kristen Johnson r5.

Which was a good choice. They're both comedy gold in their own way.

[quote] The title Mom is sort of a misnomer.

Originally the show was about both Christy and Bonnie being mothers who fucked up their kids. Later the show got rid of Christy's kids and it shifted its focus to the group of former addicts.

I feel his pain.

Seven on Married with Children.

I didn't like Violet at all, but the way they dropped the kids, never to be heard from again, was a bad move. They needed balance between the group and the family.

That Urkel show, with the cop and his family. Younger daughter judy, went upstairs and never came down again. No mention of her, no explanation, no nothing.
