She was really good in Penny Dreadful in season 2. I was expecting her to eat the entire set, but she gave a restrained performance. Josh Hartnet was also not wooden in a role that easily could have been. EVA Green was outstanding. The show was a bit uneven, but they got good performances out of the actors.

I completely forgot about her being in PD. What wife did she play? I can't recall. She was like a witch, right?

She was in one episode in the second season as a witch or someone belieced to be a witch. She returned in the third season as another character - multiple episodes. She was ok in the third season, but really good in the second season role.

R90 Me too. I’m not sure The Music Man with Hugh Jackman will make it in this fall either. I had tickets for both and the US Open in September and was looking forward to seeing Company so much as I saw it in London and thought it suffered from having no sense of place. The British actors and their accents were so all over the place that my friend who had never seen the show assumed it was about a group of ex pats in London.

The longer this goes on the less likely it is Broadway is going to recover.
