"Talking Kitty." I've been a subscriber for years, but before The Great Virus I hadn't watched for months. Just started catching up last month.
As both a cat lover and a naturally reticent person, I ADORE Sylvester and his boldness in speaking up, setting and enforcing boundaries and getting his needs/wants met. He is foul, profane, and gut-bustingly funny.
Also love Shelby the Dog (Sylvester's bête noir), Gibbyson, and all the other characters, including Steve, the HOT owner/Sylvester wrangler.

Yes, R75, and it made my heart hurt when Steve shared that info. I have chronic MDD, and completely understand what it's like to suddenly fall into the pit and not have the ability to pull myself up. It's hard to explain to people just how soul crushing that is, having a huge clever, creative brain and intellect, but it can't get you out of the hole; nor do medication, therapy, or exercise. You just have to hold on until it passes.
I adore Steve and wish him well. Isn't it wonderful that out of his psychic pain he gives us the gift of his clever brain and his hilarious cast of pets?

Not a "feel good" subject but I've been obsessed with predator sting videos since the "To Catch a Predator" days - I find it fascinating to watch grown men who get caught perving on a kid (girls and boys) try to lie and/or try to justify their actions. I compare it to watching a serial killer interview to figure out what makes them tick. Some of the stingers really try to "get through" to these creeps and gives me slight hope that the pedo may actually begin to see how their actions are damaging. I admit that it's satisfying to see the scum squirm when exposed.
There's been an explosion of hunters in the last months, most of them younger dudes doing it for entertainment, views and Patreon donations, who clown on the pedos and post for likes. This guy in the link is fairly new to the game but he seems to be doing it to protect kids and bring awareness that your neighbor could be hiding a dark secret.

I really like this gal here. Unlike other luxury YouTube channels, (there are hundreds of them), that simply unboxes an item and talks about it for hours on end, she talks about the item from a business angle. It's like a short class session. She talks about the brand, the money, market share, etc. I've gained an even more appreciation for some luxury brands while losing some appreciation for others. I recommend her channel for those of you who take a keen interest in fashion and want to learn more about what you are buying.

I really enjoy this kid. He's like Elsa Klensch and Anna Wintour all rolled into one, and... very gay! I'm a elder gay but I love the creativity of these young kids. This guy just graduated from FIT but he's built this compelling social media structure that now has become mainstream. He's created his own job! He's extremely knowledgeable about fashion for someone so young. But, it's his voice and bitchy attitude that are the draw. I wonder how much money he is making now?
[quote]In 2018, internet sensation and Gen-Z style commentator Luke Meagher, then 20, claimed the fashion industry was f-cked after deciding the style of the 2010s was uninspired and had no identity. Two years later, that sentiment remains. Meagher, known online by the moniker Haute le Mode, is a critic for a new age in fashion, one who digests industry happenings via YouTube videos and Instagram memes. His followers find his sassy and unabashed commentary sharp and hilarious: He’s not afraid to openly call Clare Waight Keller’s print selection at Givenchy “heinous” or suggest that Maria Grazia Chiuri leave Dior before she destroys it.
[quote]“I think I’ve always had my voice in that I’ve always been a little bitchy bitch that’s made snarky comments my entire life about people and things I don’t like,” Meagher says of developing his online persona. “I’ve always said really awful, inappropriate things out loud and waited for people’s reactions, so I felt like I just had to find and cultivate that online, but also in terms of fashion. My tagline is ‘fun, sassy, bitchy, analytical.’”
[quote]Some of Meagher’s most successful videos to date include a roundup of the most influential Alexander McQueen shows titled “Alexander McQueen Made Models Do What!?!” (1.1 million views), a review of a Harper’s Bazaar video with Heart Evangelista called “Reacting to a REAL Crazy Rich Asians’ Closet” (941K views), and a roast of the Met gala red carpet (1 million views). In the comments, followers add their own thoughts, engage in insightful discourse, and compliment Meagher on his encyclopedic knowledge of the industry (though that’s something he denies having). As one comment reads: “Your channel is so important. For young people who didn’t live through the ‘90s and really don’t have an idea about the era, your videos allow us to be educated on fashion… there really aren’t any other modern resources like you (at least on YouTube).”

I'm also fond of "Prepper Princess" a freshly relocated to AZ- CA born lesbian. She's smart, and has a cool dog named Rocky.
I enjoy Dr. Handsome (uh, I mean Dr. Hansen) on SARS CoV-2.

A group of young Irish lads and lasses have been doing 'Irish people taste test ...' for several years, first on the Facts channel, and then on the Try channel. It's a rotating group of about a dozen of them, and in the videos they pair off and taste things (mostly snack foods) and make witty remarks. They're adorable. Several of them also have their own channels, and my favorite is 'Sharuf' by the very cute John Sharpson with a puppet named Rufus Bluestuff. That lasted a couple of years, and 'Sharpy' has moved on to better things, like making Irish-language distance educational videos for quarantined Irish children.

More hair porn! I like this gal here too. But she narrates as she works. However, I have noticed that many other stylists are picking up the approach that Janay (R101) uses for her videos. They're just playing music without narration while they work. But, in my eyes, Janay is still the BEST hair porn on YouTube!
GOSH! I wish I had this guy's head of hair!

Preppy Kitchen. Delicious desserts by a very warm, kind-hearted, handsome gay father of two. He has a gorgeous kitchen for you ladies into that, which is every single person here, and lives on a farm in CT.
He’s like the perfect gay husband. Tall, handsome, loves kids, loves cooking, and has an entrepreneurial spirit (he quit being a school teacher to start his baking career). I couldn’t marry him though. I’d quickly turn into a fat ass and a bitch is always doing that without the cornucopia of sweets.

When I'm depressed about the state of our country (USA) I'll go the the Obama White House channel or Obamadotcom just to watch old video clips of the president and Mrs, Obama. I really enjoy the videos where he sits and has a meal with the people of the country. Some times these videos make me weep over the loss of such good people in our White House and government. But, I eventually feel better because I'm sure we will have such people again.
I'll watch a speech here and there but I really like the clips where he interacts with the people. The video in the link is one of my favorites because it was a Republican who detested Obama but whose life was saved because of the ACA. He wrote a letter about that to Obama and got to have lunch with him.

How do you keep abreast of new content from 800 channels...??? I'm at about 115 and I can't possibly keep up, not that I'm really trying.

Belinda has posted a couple of meditation videos to deal with the virus this year that I quickly ignored. It's stickly new music for me on those channels. Most of them go dormant until they have new videos or remastered singles to upload.
Many like Joe C. at R36 took off so much time that I forgot about him but now that he is homebound due to the virus he has starting uploading new content (I'm glad that I've kept all of my hunky guys channels around).
I was a big fan of NancyDrew37 (a black woman from the Wisconsin area). She would upload about soaps & CW tv shows but has since deleted her channel. Talk about a laugh riot. I guess she is still a part of my subscriptions as I haven't personally removed her from my list. Maybe she'll come back soon due to the virus but I'm not optimistic about it.
I have a few pages in a notebook about rare channels that upload too many videos on a daily/weekly basis to keep up with deleting so I just write down the channel's name to check (at a future date) the hundreds of videos that I have missed out on but didn't interest me at the time.
I usually watch the shortest time length videos that I'm interested in so if I'm only on for an hour, I've watched 20 or 30 videos at a time. I have a 2020 fitness list (among others) for things I want to watch at a later date, the 2020 music list is so I can listen to the new music while I'm on the DL, the decorating 2020 list I watch at 2x the regular speed & close off the sound so I can get thru them faster & I have a paranormal 2020 list & a 2020 comedian list so I can hear those speakers while I'm also doing something else on the internet like banking, weather & online shopping (I also listen to those at the 2x speed level to get as much as I can in one sitting).

I enjoy the content by The Curly Coopers. It's like a Brady Bunch type of fun. They're not rich. Curtis (the husband) just graduated from Georgia Tech about a couple of weeks ago. They're straight and religious, but.... they have done collaborations with gay families and one of their videos was really funny when Curtis told Duana (his wife) that he was hit on. Well, she wanted to know who the woman was. He tells her that it was a guy and she just lovingly teases him throughout the video. They're both very good looking but people (men and women) have nooo problem always talking about Curtis.
Their channel is just good, clean, fun

I suppose the reason why this thread feels "off", well to me anyway, is that we're now up to 455 plus entries and yet there have been only 69 posters. I can understand the poster who is subscribed to 800 different channels (God bless ya) but I don't think that was the mandate of this thread. The objective was to post your FAVORITE YouTube Channels that keep you entertained over time rather than just those YouTube channels that one may have watched 4-5 videos (if that) and then moved on to something else. To the 800 subscriber person, I would personally find it hard to believe that you are keeping up with 800 channels on a consistent basis. Therefore, it just comes across as if you are just listing channels and spamming.
I truly believe that there are those here that are looking for new, different, and interesting, content. But, it seems as if this thread is overwhelmed by music and fitness videos and therefore people are not seeing a lot of diversity to consider. I guess it would be whatever it is if a person were following these channels with some dedication and loyalty. But, I question that. It just seems like a lot of spamming to me. BUT, that's just me! Would anyone else like to weigh in with their opinions?

R447 Alas, I suspect that the young heir to the Laird of Ochterloney will soon realize that the improvements to the ancestral home by the cleaners are merely cosmetic and that the cost of the repairs to the structure will be prohibitive. The exterior seems to be in rough shape.

R459 You really think in the case of music channels (I only listen to 4-5 songs out of a free 9-15 songs?). Get real.
Jane Wiedlin at R has only put out 4 videos in the past 7.5 years (2 in the past week). You don't think that I've viewed them all during that length of time?
R169 & the Depression era cooking Granma are both dead so there is no new content from them.
R418 Zac has only released 2 videos in 5 years (1 in the past week). I've watched both of them in that length of time.
R251 Robeson Design has taken several breaks over the years. She took her last one for a divorce.
R408 That interview is several years old. I can't recall which election he did that.
R419 MattPop has released 11 minutes in 5 videos in the past 3.5 months. That's not really alot to view in that length of time.
R255 SupDaily06 has taken several breaks during his YT time. He does talks now mostly on other forums (but I don't view them)
R325 Dylan (like most fitness guys) has taken off many months at a time so you forget about him after awhile.
R357 Alicia Bridges last album was released over 4 years ago. It's easy to catch up to other artists like Belinda & Cyndi when others have long breaks between releases.
R407 Bea is gay friendly (she did a tolerance video after the Orlando massacre) & has taken time off to redo her channel (& for other reasons).
The only channel that I've posted that I've only seen 4-5 videos is the Homebound series at R409 (which just started due to the virus) & is still ongoing.
Since last week this thread has added 10 new posters.
For those wondering, YT lists stop at 5,000 videos (because I had to do a part 2 to my general 2019 list in the fall). I had never hit that number in years past.

Felicia A. O'Dell (May 7, 1957– March 18, 2017)-- popularly known as Auntie Fee-- was an American YouTube personality and online cooking show star, whose videos were recorded in her kitchen by her son, Tavis Hunter. She made various television appearances throughout her career, and became known for her comedic-vulgar style.
YouTube and fame
O'Dell became an internet video viral sensation in July 2014, showcasing her homemade cooking skills in a series of videos that included "Sink Chicken" and "How to feed Seven people with just $3.35." She was known for making food and saying that it's "for the kids." Her son, Tavis Hunter, served as cameraman and sidekick. She had more than 330,000 followers on her Facebook page.
She made promotional videos for the movies Dumb and Dumber To and Top Five. Among the notable individuals who appeared with her include actress Sherri Shepherd, TMZ founder Harvey Levin and musician Snoop Dogg. Auntie Fee had appeared in various interviews across television, including appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Steve Harvey Show and TMZ.
She started a business of selling branded merchandise on her web site, such as dry seasoning, apparel, and other spices for cooking.
She created more than 50 videos on her YouTube channel, titled 'Cooking With Auntie Fee.' She also had roles on the television show Real Husbands of Hollywood and the movie Barbershop 3.

These guys ("Red Letter Media") are filmmakers who review movies while in characters they created -- two beer swilling VCR repairmen as part of their "Half in the Bag" series. That sounds boring and silly, but they drop the goofy characters once they start discussing a film. They also do reviews out of character where they cover all genres; a lot of it is low budget horror but also major hits like The Joker. These guys aren't dummies, they've seen everything from Kubrick to dreck like Mall Cop and they make it funny and entertaining.
