What have you been doing?

Yesterday I bought a pan of cinnamon rolls and I scraped off and ate the cream cheese frosting. Today I will heat and eat the rolls.

by Anonymousreply 39March 29, 2020 7:34 AM

I farted. Alot

by Anonymousreply 1March 22, 2020 12:27 PM

Not much, watching too much tv.

I just set Mame to record today on TCM for those of you keeping up with that sort of thing.

by Anonymousreply 2March 22, 2020 12:28 PM

Jet lag. Have had it for a week.

by Anonymousreply 3March 22, 2020 12:28 PM

Eating too much and hitting up all the streaming platforms for stuff I've been meaning to watch.

by Anonymousreply 4March 22, 2020 12:35 PM

Stress cooking. Which is neither entirely good nor entirely bad.

But stay off eBay, for sure. No good can come of opening eBay during a lock down. I did and I ended up buying a cook book. (See above. Par. 1.)

by Anonymousreply 5March 22, 2020 12:49 PM

I started watering the houseplants (I have a lot), met with a physical therapist for an evaluation, then went to the Post Office to pick up my mail and to the grocery to stock up a bit. I had some coffee and a piece of chess pie for dinner, and cooked up a pound of chicken livers.

by Anonymousreply 6March 22, 2020 12:55 PM

OP, be careful not to OVERDO.

by Anonymousreply 7March 22, 2020 12:57 PM

R6, I find chess pie too gamey. It's not for me, thanks.

by Anonymousreply 8March 22, 2020 1:04 PM

I made a servicable banana bread out of a banana, stevia, baking soda, water and crushed Datrex 3600 survival bars, which consist of heat treated flour, shortening and sugar. The survival bars are years beyond expiry. My Kroger is pretty stripped at the moment.

by Anonymousreply 9March 22, 2020 1:10 PM

Watching Bradbucks and Sam Cushing on IG.

by Anonymousreply 10March 22, 2020 1:23 PM

Stress cooking. Watching movies. Working. Reading. Drinking a bit too much wine. I’m shaking up my whole routine next week however. Back to 60 minutes of exercise a day and watching what I eat. I was getting into killer shape before this shit started ...gotta keep going. And thanks to the queen who posted Chris Cuomo’s Instagram feed! He’s been uploading great at home workout routines and his bouncy VPL is a thing to behold!

by Anonymousreply 11March 22, 2020 1:24 PM

Made Jewish cabbage soup served with dollop of ..get this.. non diary sour cream as the stores are completely OUT!

I want to make more Horchata a Mexican drink but everywhere is OUT of rice!

by Anonymousreply 12March 22, 2020 1:26 PM

I cleaned the winter grime off my windows and laundered and ironed some curtains that needed it.

by Anonymousreply 13March 22, 2020 1:32 PM

Yesterday I took my Harley for a long ride in the country. I haven't ridden it for about two weeks, and I thought I probably should ride now before or in case of some kind of lockdown. It was a beautiful day here in the Ocala Forest, flowers are blooming and most places I rode smelled wonderful. Then I stopped at the dollar store for a gallon of milk for my bran cereal this morning.

Today? TV and (perhaps) some yard work.

by Anonymousreply 14March 22, 2020 3:14 PM

Learning Italian and French on DuoLingo, walking in the woods, Facebook, DL.

by Anonymousreply 15March 22, 2020 3:47 PM

Gaining 15 pounds and counting.

by Anonymousreply 16March 28, 2020 11:57 AM

You know, you can just buy icing, OP.

by Anonymousreply 17March 28, 2020 12:02 PM

Playing with tech stuff - new "productivity" apps and all that crap.

by Anonymousreply 18March 28, 2020 12:07 PM

Playing tennis, riding bikes, walking, surfing the net and watching tv. I am not going to gain weight.

by Anonymousreply 19March 28, 2020 12:19 PM

Constantly masturbating to porn to the point its making me depressed.

by Anonymousreply 20March 28, 2020 12:37 PM

I guess I’ll finally give this “masterbating” thing a try.

by Anonymousreply 21March 28, 2020 12:58 PM

R21 try "masturbating," also - even more fun.

by Anonymousreply 22March 28, 2020 1:14 PM

Sick from allergies/asthma - not Covid. Sleeping more. Drinking more wine than usual. Annoying my cat by my constant presence. Making my dog happy by my constant presence.

I don't cook much but am eating a lot of pasta and rice (rice in pouches from Seeds of Change, so good). I find that putting a nice bit of Earth Made (vegetarian butter) makes everything taste better.

by Anonymousreply 23March 28, 2020 1:36 PM

Getting incredibly fat!

by Anonymousreply 24March 28, 2020 2:20 PM

I bet the OP didn't wait a whole day before he ate them. Probably like 20 minutes..

by Anonymousreply 25March 28, 2020 2:31 PM

Shredding all the evidence.

by Anonymousreply 26March 28, 2020 3:21 PM

I broke into my emergency supply of protein bars. They’re disgusting, but I have already eaten all my snacks.

by Anonymousreply 27March 28, 2020 4:55 PM

I have big plans for Little Debbie.

by Anonymousreply 28March 28, 2020 5:01 PM

I am ordering tuna on Amazon.

by Anonymousreply 29March 28, 2020 5:12 PM

R28 Maybe it doesn't matter to you, but that little bitch has been in MY bed for the last five nights in a row!

by Anonymousreply 30March 28, 2020 5:36 PM

Honey, Little Debbie gets around.

by Anonymousreply 31March 28, 2020 6:07 PM

Little Debbie Does DL

by Anonymousreply 32March 28, 2020 6:20 PM

R27 Ditto. Normally, I don't even buy the wretched things.

by Anonymousreply 33March 29, 2020 2:18 AM

R32 wins the thread

I've been noodling through a series of recipes from Julia Child's "Mastering the Art of French Cooking." Julia spared no step, no complexity. Our typically busy days leave no time for these recipes. But now we have some time.

By the end of the recipe, the attention to detail really pays off. You learn a lot about cooking by submitting to her detailed methods. Having done some of them, I've noticed small simplifications I would make if I again prepare particular dishes. That takes nothing from Julia. And if that keeps me exploring this great book, it's a good trade.

I'm in my cabin on an island in the PNW, doing all of my favorite things, every day: cooking, baking, having wood fires in the morning or evening when it's cooler, backwoods hikes and beach walks with my dog, foraging for clams, oysters, and mussels, buying eggs and produce from local farm stands. Sleep with a window open to hear the water, the wind in the evergreens and, sometimes, rain. I'm a work-from-home introvert, so this is paradise for me.

by Anonymousreply 36March 29, 2020 6:13 AM

Shredding letters and unimportant legal stuff from a crazy business I sold, some items dating back 30 years. What a relief!

by Anonymousreply 37March 29, 2020 6:35 AM

Staying up until 1 or 2 am

by Anonymousreply 38March 29, 2020 7:13 AM

R32 little Debbie does double what?
