I need a haircut so bad!

me too gurl

Try doing it yourself. How bad could it be?
Try this, if you wear longer hair:
Wet hair, comb evenly into a elastic band on top of head. Cut above elastic.
It will fall into even layers, at least.

Wear a hat.

My hair stylist company just closed. That’s about 4 stylists. I don’t know how they will survive.
I got my last cut really short. But that can’t help forever,
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 19, 2020 7:04 PM |
They closed down all salons on my state.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 19, 2020 7:05 PM |
I was just wondering what to do since there is NO way I was going to be getting a cut for a while.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 19, 2020 7:26 PM |
I was going to get my haircut 2 weekends ago, but I had to work that weekend, and last weekend. Now I think it's too late.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 19, 2020 7:30 PM |
Even the military has relaxed hair cut rules. Soon Marines will go from Jarheads to Mullet Boys.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | March 19, 2020 7:35 PM |
The saloons are shut, so the stylists can make house calls. But do you want someone whose been so close to so many people in your house?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 19, 2020 7:42 PM |
I just got my haircut at a barber in LA. He heard that anytime now, CA will be requiring all hair & nail salons to close thru end of March.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | March 19, 2020 7:51 PM |
Lol I’ve been bald since my late 20s...
by Anonymous | reply 12 | March 19, 2020 7:55 PM |
I'm gonna let it grow and get me a weave!
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 19, 2020 8:00 PM |
MARY!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | March 19, 2020 8:05 PM |
I hate the whole "I can smell this picture" thing, but yeah.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 19, 2020 8:09 PM |
My county is on "shelter in place", with active cases known, and the barbers are among the non-essential businesses that have to close.
The bright side of this will be that nobody can maintain those awful "Hitler Youth" haircuts. Yay!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 19, 2020 10:37 PM |
You suck, r11. I hope you fall into that thing.
Just think about all the fraus who will have five-inch roots and their Botox has worn off. Hahahaha
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 19, 2020 10:45 PM |
Governor shut down all barber shops, hair and nail salons, spas, and tattoo shops.
I've been looking at YouTube videos of how to use hair clippers. Maybe I could order some, or pick some up at Target while that's still possible.
But we're all in the same boat, right? So who's going to get judgmental about shaggy hair?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 19, 2020 11:00 PM |
I have a Flowbee. I'm great.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 19, 2020 11:05 PM |
Maybe this will bring back long hair on men. I'm all for it.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 19, 2020 11:05 PM |
I went to go get mine cut and walked in and the first thing I heard was some bitch coughing . I did a u turn and got the hell out of Dodge ! I guess Im going to look messy for a bit.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | March 20, 2020 12:24 AM |
Same, OP. I just decided to cut my own. It'll have to do for now. The back was hard, I just cut a bit the best I could.

The college experience is better than highschool in every way.
In most professional circles people will tell stories of their college or grad school days. No one gives much thought to highschool.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 20, 2020 12:36 AM |
Whoops.
Meant to say barbershops and salons in New Jersey were forced to close today.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | March 20, 2020 12:37 AM |
My barber is closing for two weeks in a few days, so I’m braving the unwashed masses to get this hurr laid.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | March 20, 2020 12:43 AM |
Gosh, girls. In the Time of Coronavirus, I'd say this rates about a sub-zero on a sale of ten in terms of vital concerns.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | March 20, 2020 12:49 AM |
My barber sent an email, advertising home visits. But fuck, he raised the charge 20% plus $75.00 for travel expense. He's straight and married. I know he's financially hurting. I'm tempted to offer more for "extra" services, but I'm shy and timid, not the 'present hole' type unlike you guys.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | March 20, 2020 12:54 AM |
OP, for now, can you make do (no pun intended) with a neat, low ponytail?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | March 20, 2020 1:24 AM |
The fraus at work were wondering what to do, now that they can't get to their colorists.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | March 20, 2020 11:04 PM |
I figures the barbers in the "popular" quarters might try to stay open. I went to two arab barbers. Closed. I went to two black barbers. Closed. I wonder if there's a secret Asian barber in a basement, somewhere.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | March 20, 2020 11:10 PM |
Heh, I had my cousin the barber move into a spare room a while back. No problems!
by Anonymous | reply 34 | March 20, 2020 11:28 PM |
You're going to be cremated after you die of COVID-19, so who the fuck cares what your hair looks like. Our ashes all look the same. Long hair, short hair. It matters not.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | March 20, 2020 11:30 PM |
You should find a barber. Everything’s wrong if your hair is wrong.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | March 20, 2020 11:38 PM |
Oh no will hair gel be gone from store shelves next??!
by Anonymous | reply 37 | March 21, 2020 2:10 AM |
[quote] The saloons are shut
DAMNIT!
by Anonymous | reply 38 | March 21, 2020 2:22 AM |
My barber texted me back today to say he was trapped in Guatemala.
Oh well...guess I’ll grow it out.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | March 21, 2020 2:33 AM |
My hair will go wild if this doesn’t end soon!!
by Anonymous | reply 40 | March 28, 2020 10:05 PM |
No one's barber is going to be open for business, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | March 28, 2020 10:06 PM |
Better get ready for your hair to all look shit, bitches. We won't be getting out hair cut until the summer, I predict. MAYBE.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | March 28, 2020 10:07 PM |
I drove by mine Friday night, and the parking lot was full of cars.
But then again, I live in Florida.

[quote]R17 Just think about all the fraus who will have five-inch roots
Worry not. Anyone who has their hair colored knows the basics about doing it themselves, and has in fact done so from time to time, between appointments when times were tough.
They are fine, and send their love.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | March 28, 2020 10:19 PM |
I don't have a problem cutting the front and sides, but the back presents a problem. My Mom taught me to cut hair, but I really need both hands to cut the back. And I can't lift my left arm above my shoulder right now.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | March 28, 2020 10:28 PM |
fuck off you shallow superficial twat....no one gives a shit....people are dying
by Anonymous | reply 47 | March 28, 2020 10:41 PM |
Had mine cut on Friday the 13th. I wore a mask. Sam was the only barber in the shop. I almost had a heart attack when a homeless woman comes in to have her chin whiskers shaved. He stops working on me and shaves her chin. Says she's a "charity case". After she left, he spray sterilized the thing...... if that made any difference?
by Anonymous | reply 48 | March 28, 2020 10:42 PM |
Oh fuck off, you tiresome twat, R47.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | March 28, 2020 10:44 PM |
Don't any of you have a friend who can trim the back for you? It doesn't require talent, just a strong light and decent eyesight, plus a pair of sharp scissors (even manicure scissors will do). Or ask your barber/stylist to come to your home, provide a mask and bottle of hand sanitizer, and tip well.
