Absolutely nothing of value. Only reason to be there is a job - and maybe lower cost of living. San Antonio is probably the only Texas city that is unique and tourist worthy. I like Houston but it isn’t a “must see”.

There was a dead body outside my downtown hotel when I checked in. Overdose. The next time, there was a shooting right down the street, once again, downtown. I'm not going back.

Grew up there. A never-ending wonderland of frontage roads, strip malls, chain restaurants, freeways, ugly buildings and trash. Tiny tasteless green pocket neighborhoods full of clueless queens and desperate wannabes who think they're gilded cosmopolitans. It's been that way for decades.
