'Hattie has become McQuisha': Tori Spelling apologizes for 'racist' Instagram post

Just last month, Tori had posted a long emotional message on her Instagram sharing details about how her two eldest kids, Liam, 13, and Stella, 11, have been bullied at school.

And at the weekend, the daughter of the late TV mogul Aaron Spelling complained on Instagram about running out of toilet paper as people stockpile essentials during the pandemic.

'We're all sick and the kids' schools are closed, so we're all home. And it's raining. And the stores are out of toilet paper and we have seven butts to wipe and no toilet paper to be found.' Tori said.

How is the name "McQuisha" racist? Can't we all agree that it is a lovely name?

I don't get how this is offensive, and the fact that people are calling it "racially insensitive" just proves the truth behind McQuisha. Sometimes you have to call a spade a spade, and sometimes it's alright to make fun of ghetto people for being ghetto. If the cheeto-nail-extensions fit....

The girl isn't even in blackface, the character isn't explicitly black. The fact that people assume the character IS black says something...

Here's a McQuisha, not sure it's who she was talking about. I can see how this McQuisha would be offended, she's quite dignified and refined herself.

R14 There's no excuse for blackface, but that's because it targets black people, which is racist. McQuisha could just as easily be a ratchet white person, the character is making fun of ratchetness, not black people. The fact that being ratchet and being black are synonymous to you is both disturbing and unsurprising, you racist.
