I was on Tumblr and someone put up a clip of an incident that happened at JIBCON a year (or more?) ago. The clip had no audio and shows the cast in a group in a hotel lobby, possibly leaving the con for the day. Suddenly, Jared aggressively lunges at Misha and it looks like he's trying to smack him in the head. Their bodyguard Clif steps away, like he's not going to stop Jared's attack - Misha ducks back and it doesn't look like Jared connected. The person says that on the clip you can hear Jensen say to someone "turn that camera off!".
I vaguely remember this incident but not the story behind it. Can anyone update me on whatall was going on that day? **I posted this in SPN thread 16 too. Will update both thread if I get an answer**
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 22, 2020 11:18 PM |
That video was widely seen by many.
It did look like Jared was pissed as hell and about to attack that asshole.
Unfortunately no one ever figured out what might have happened. No one in the know ever said anything about it.

The good thing about restaurant closures and only offering curbside to-go service is that it minimizes Jared's harrassment of waitstaff.

Howâs this for awkward? The demon who manipulated Sam into drinking demon blood on Supernatural may hold the key to solving the Winchestersâ problems.
On Mondayâs episode (The CW, 8/7c), Genevieve Padalecki reprises her role as Ruby, when the âsearch for the one thing that may give the Winchesters an edge against God leads Sam and Dean to Joâs (guest star Danneel Ackles) door and to a secret that may have died with Ruby,â per the official synopsis.
Below, the tight-lipped Padalecki teases Rubyâs âscaryâ reunion with Sam and Dean, and opens up about what it was like to return to acting while being a full-time mom to her three children with Supernatural leading man Jared Padalecki.
[quote] TVLINE | I know death doesnât mean the end on Supernatural, but it has been 11 seasons since Ruby died. Did you think you would ever get to play her again?
I think I was always really hopeful, especially after coming back in âThe French Mistakeâ and having so much fun. I was always hopeful that I would get the opportunity again to come back and play Ruby. I donât know if I expected it, but I was definitely keeping my fingers crossed.
[quote] TVLINE | Was it something that you talked about with Jared or the producers over the years?
No, but I think around the time after âThe French Mistake,â I always made it known that when the show was coming to a close or if there was a certain story plot or storyline, I would always love to come back. The show, for me, personally [and] selfishly, has always been such an important part of my family that I always wanted to be a part of it in the end. I always made that known to the producers and Jared and everyone. So I felt really grateful when there was an opportunity for me to come back.
[quote] TVLINE | How did it feel to be back on set as Ruby? Iâm sure youâve been back on set in other capacities over the yearsâŠ
It was really cool. It was really special. Itâs definitely a different feeling coming on as my husbandâs wife and saying âhi,â in his work environment. It is a totally other experience when youâre stepping on the set as a character, and seeing people in a work environment and feeling part of the crew and the team. So that is such an exciting feeling. I really enjoyed being on set. I love to work, I love acting. So for me, being able to have my family and have three kids and then be able to jump right back in and start working in this capacity, I couldnât ask for a better scenario. It was a dream come true for me. It was a lot of fun, and I just definitely felt like I jumped right back in and I was part of the team again.
[quote] TVLINE | What did you miss most about playing Ruby?
I missed her kind of grit and darkness. And I missed how she can be a bit of a badass and a little bit conniving. Sheâs got an agenda. I think Gen, myself, can be a little bit like, âLetâs look on the bright side!â Iâm scatterbrained at times, so I love that sheâs focused on the prize. I just enjoyed stepping back in those shoes. Plus, she always gets to wear high heels. I donât get to do that often anymore with three kids, so that was fun.
[quote] TVLINE | Since itâs been so long since weâve seen Ruby, what can you say about what sheâs been up to in that time, and how sheâs changed or not in that time?
Thatâs a tough one, because I donât want to give too much away in terms of when you see her. I think that youâll definitely see her badass side, the demon character that she plays and the toughness and stuff. Weâve seen vulnerability in different ways from her, and I think youâll see a little bit of that as well. So thatâll be an interesting change.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | March 23, 2020 7:06 AM |
[quote] TVLINE | We do know that she sort of re-enters the picture through Jo. Do Jo and Ruby have a history as an angel and a demon?
Youâll have to find out! But I think youâll definitely be able to see how theyâre similar and how theyâre different, and how they kind of play off of each other, and you can kind of make your own assumptions from there, I guess.
[quote] TVLINE | Did you and Danneel campaign to have a storyline together? Or was that pure coincidence?
No, that was actually a coincidence, which was such a great situation for us, because weâre so busy with our kids. Even though we live so close to each other in Austin, Texas. I feel like getting to spend the episode with her was such a gift. We donât get to hang out as often as weâd like with our busy schedules, so that was super fun.
[quote] TVLINE | We donât really know what Rubyâs feelings are at this point about God. Is that something thatâs explored in the episode?
I think sheâll definitely be part of the storyline, and I know that Godâs a big arc. So I think sheâll play to that. I think you can make judgments either way. I donât know if itâs as black and white.
[quote] TVLINE | Ruby was a very clever demon who manipulated Sam for a long time to free Lucifer and was an enemy of the Winchesters. So would she even want to help them out, if she had the resources to?
I feel like everyoneâs now doing it. She was the OG, who was like the original âIâve got a plan, Iâm sticking to it, and Iâm not going to apologize for it.â Now everyone seems to be following suit. I donât know. I think if there was an agenda involved, and she can see the goal, especially in dire times, I think she would go for it.
[quote] TVLINE | The Winchesters and Ruby did not leave things on a nice note, to put it mildly. Last time we saw her, they killed her. Is there anything you can tease about what the reunion looks like between them?
The reunion looks⊠scary. No, I donât know. I think she is in dire straits. I donât want to say too much about any reunions. Just wait and see.
[quote] TVLINE | Sam and Ruby, obviously, have a complicated relationship. Do you think that she still has maybe some deeper feelings for him?
Iâm sure sheâll always have fond memories of the relationship. I would think that even though he betrayed her, I think she understands that in a way, because she probably would have done the same thing. So I think sheâll probably always have fond memories of him.
[quote] TVLINE | One of the fun things that the promo teased was that weâre going to meet a Sam and Dean from another world. Did you get to witness Jared and Jensen playing these other versions of Sam and Dean while you were on set?
I didnât get to be on set, but I got to FaceTime an awful lot, and my children had a lot of fun seeing their dad dressed up in this alternate universe. They thought it was pretty funny and were asking lots of questions about the set stuff. Weâre definitely trying to get our middle son to rock that man bun.
[quote] TVLINE | You mentioned that you love acting, and you love being on set. Did this episode spark a desire in you to do more acting in the future?
Yeah, definitely. Iâve been a full-time mom, and Iâve been running a blog, which has been so fun and such an amazing creative outlet. But to get back on set and to actually be working as an actor again definitely ignited a creative spark in me that I absolutely hope to pursue a bit in the future.

Supernaturalâs final season is pausing sooner than expected: Executive producer Andrew Dabb announced on Twitter that tonightâs episode will be the last fresh original to air for some time.
As a result of the coronavirus-fueled production shutdown, âThis will be our last episode for awhile,â Dabb wrote. He later clarified that although the series completed filming through Episode 18 â this weekâs installment is Episode 13 â âour visual effects and sound departments have closed because of the outbreak. So, right now, the episodes canât be finished.â
That said, the #SPNFamily wonât be completely without the show during the break, with âsome special treats coming along the way to help us all get through this,â Dabb teased.
At the time of the shutdown, Supernatural was just two episodes shy of completing filming on its 20-episode swan-song season. But never fear, âwe, The CW, and Warner Bros. fully intend to return and finish the series,â Dabb assured fans. âItâs not a matter of âif,â itâs a matter of âwhen.'â
Tonightâs episode, titled âDestinyâs Child,â marks the return of Genevieve Padalecki as the demon Ruby. Per the official synopsis, âa search for the one thing that may give the Winchesters an edge against God leads Sam and Dean to Joâs (guest star Danneel Ackles) door and to a secret that may have died with Ruby. Meanwhile, Castiel asks Jack to do the unthinkable to help the brothers in their quest.â

The outfit heâs wearing does not combine with the two guysâ outfits, either. He just doesnât fit in this shoot. It looks awkward and uncomfortable.

"Supernatural Bloopers"
Production on the final season was shut down due to the spread of the coronavirus. While some shows, like Grey's Anatomy and Law & Order: SVU, are ending their seasons early, Supernatural will resume productionâeventuallyâwith a commitment to give viewers of the long-running series a proper finale. Empire, another show ending its run in the 2019-2020 TV season, also had production shut down, but will make episode 18 its finale with some footage from episode 19.
"And yes, we, the CW, and Warner Bros. fully intend to return and finish the series. It's not a matter of âif', it's a matter of âwhen,'" Supernatural's Andrew Dabb tweeted to fans.
At the 2019 Television Critics Association summer press tour, Dabb told fans they were looking to give the show a true ending.
"We're looking at this as a true ending," Dabb said. "And in a true ending, people can't keep coming back over and overâŠThey're going to be facing life or deathâŠThis time it's for real."

Okay, so the first time Jaredâs arm was in a cast, he broke it doing a stunt, I think. That was in season 2, I think?
The second time, in season 10, he sprained/strained or was is dislocated? During a fan convention of all things. Nobody really know the truth of what happened.
It all ties in to that video that shows Jared trying to beat up on useless. Supposedly, Jared and Osric were âwrestlingâ in a hotel room and somehow, that skinny nerd dislocated Jaredâs shoulder. They were roughhousing and Jared ended up hurt.
No way, no how could Osric damage Padalecki. Never mind that they would know better than to hurt the main talent.

On March 22, 2019, Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins shared a video on social media announcing that the beloved CW show's 15th season would be its last. But at that point, ending the show had been an ongoing conversation for years.
Co-showrunner Andrew Dabb remembers flying up to the Vancouver set at the start of season 12 and sitting down with Ackles and Padalecki. "When we had that conversation, I was like, 'I think we've got a good three to four years of stories left to tell with these characters at least,'" Dabb says. As Ackles puts it, "We had been kicking that ball around for probably about three seasons and it was never like 'We're done, let's move on.' It was like, 'Let's start planning an exit strategy.'
"[Jared] and I were always married to the fact that we never wanted to go out with a diet version of what we had," Ackles continues. "We wanted to have enough gas left in the tank to get us racing across the finish line. We didnât want to limp across." As the conversations surrounding ending became more and more frequent, "it just kind of came together," Ackles says. "So Jared and I sat down with Andrew and [co-showrunner] Bob [Singer] and talked about what it could look like and what were the different scenarios, and this one seemed like the best one."
When it came to exit strategies, there was a clear winner. "We were in the end zone," Collins says. "And Andrew gave the rationale of, 'We can stretch this to two or three years or we could go out with one really great final season,' and that sounded like a really good note to end on and I think that's ultimately what Jared and Jensen rallied around."
At the end of season 14, they made it official. They'd get 20 final episodes to take Sam and Dean home. "We had that moment where he and I both realized that we didnât want it to end," Padalecki says. "It finally got to a point, ironically, where it was like, 'I never want to leave this. I could do this until the day I die, and then if I get the choice when Iâm dead, Iâll re-up!' But you never want to be the last person at a party. We just knew. Thatâs not to say there havenât been vacillations, but we all trust the decision that was made."
The CW's Chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz jokes that he "begged" them to stay, but ultimately, everyone agreed it was time to say goodbye. "Hopefully I'm still around when they try to do the remake," Pedowitz says with a laugh.

Someone posted this on the SPN Part 18 thread.
Anyone know the dirt??
[quote] I thought people hated Buzolic because they said he hooked up with barely legal (but legal) fans at conventions. There was also a rumor that was posted on DL that Jonathan Bennett told someone he had sex with Nathaniel, who is his friend.
[quote] yeah, I hooked up with him this past spring â kind of crappy apartment for an actor that seems to work. He showed me some video of him fking in his living room an aussie actor named Nathaniel buzolic that is âstraightâ (bragging he could turn straight guys gay â guy seemed pretty gay already by looks of the vid), while his boyfriend travis (must have gotten back together) was asleep recovering from surgery in next room. pretty weird stuff.
HOT!

So the video that Sam Highfill put up on Twitter shows Jensen and Jared in complete sync.
Theyâre walking and completely ignoring the other guy.
Jared took a selfie with Jensen and Collins tried to move in and Jared pushed him away.
Itâs supposed to be funny but I think thereâs a grain of truth there.
He just doesnât belong there. Itâs very evident, especially in the pictures with the Impala.

[quote]We wanted to have enough gas left in the tank to get us racing across the finish line. We didnât want to limp across." --Jensen Ackles
LMFAO. This final season won't limp across. Limping would be a blessing. It's CRAWLING across and I'm not sure it's even going to make it. Horrible writing and horrible acting from Jared and Jensen, neither of whom are great actors but still.
R101, you fans who have this bizarre hatred of Misah are completely exhausting. Do you really think for a moment that if Jared and Jensen wanted Misha gone that he would still be there? t's a TELEVISION SHOW. Get over yourselves.

I wasn't actually the one who posted that gossip.
I copied and pasted it from the SPN Part 18 thread, because it was so juicy.
Hopefully the person who posted that can answer your question either here, or on the Part 18 thread.
Also, I think that Nathaniel uses the handle "NateBuzz" for Nathaniel Buzolic. Cute.

In August of 2019, EW gathered Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins for a cover shoot out in Malibu (the results of which you can see here). It had been five months since the actors announced that season 15 would be Supernatural's last and about one month since they'd returned to Vancouver and started filming the final season. But when the guys landed in Los Angeles, EW took the opportunity to celebrate the show with a photo shoot (and a truly stunning backdrop).
As part of the shoot, EW asked the actors to give fans a cover tour â a walk through the shoot setup, from the hair and makeup trailer to the shoot location. Ackles, Padalecki, and Collins delivered just that, complete with a handful of Easter eggs for diehard fans.
Watch the video in full below.

Some people solve puzzles while stuck in self-isolation. Others play board games. But if you are husband and wife team Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton, you host your very own quarantined talk show from a farm in upstate New York!
Friday Night In With the Morgans will debut this Friday at 10 p.m. on AMC as The Walking Dead and One Tree Hill stars video-chat with friends as well as current and former coworkers from around the country, and the very first episode features a few notable reunions. Not only does Morganâs TWD costar Christian Serratos (who plays Rosita) log-in, but Supernatural star Jensen Ackles joins his former on-screen dad, along with his wife, Danneel. (The Morgansâ family friend and local physician, Dr. Sharagim Kemp rounds out the week one guest list.)
In this exclusive clip from the premiere, Ackles answers a fan question asking him to share the story of how he introduced Morgan and Burton. And what a story it is. âHilarie was in town visiting, this was in L.A., and she was staying with us and so we went out one evening,â explains the Supernatural star. âI remember it, it was like an Irish pub in Toluca Lake.â
âIrish car bombs, baby!â interjects Morgan, clearly relishing the memory of beverages shared that evening.
âAnd there we were sitting, the three of us,â continues Ackles. âAnd I convinced Morgan to come down the street and meet us for a drink, and you did. And you pulled up in your Harley, and we were sitting there in the front window, and Hilarie sees this guy get off a bike in slow-motion and take his helmet off and throw his hair, and it was all very surreal. And you walked in, the two of you locked eyes, and that was pretty much the rest of the evening.â
âIt was, like, instant,â agrees wife Danneel.
Watch the full video reliving the epic meet-cute for yourself above, and then tune in Friday on AMC for the debut of Friday Night In With the Morgans. Future guests include Sarah Wayne Callies, Mark Duplass and Katie Aselton, while AMC says that, "Each episode will have a free-flowing, raw feel featuring unfiltered conversation about how weâre all getting through this unprecedented moment, as this charismatic couple connect with friends, neighbors, animals and the broader community of fans. Each week they will come together for conversations about how they are handling life in quarantine, practically helping communities, finding joy and even humor in these unprecedented times, entertaining themselves, and others, while in isolation â all done via video chat."

Jonathan Bennett fucked a Jesus freak???? And he was on SPN?
[quote]I did not understand my Bible. Sure I went to church, I knew the basics, But that was as far as i ever got.
[quote]In My first 6 years as a Christian I would only ever learn about Jesus from what the pastor would preach at church (once a week) Thatâs it. One day a week over 6 years long years. If you do the math - Thatâs 312 days of learning. And thatâs if i understood what the pastor was talking about. Thatâs not even one yearâs worth of days in 6 long years of my life.
[quote]Three years ago in the midst of filming the originals I secretly flew to to Iraq, and then I was called to go to Israel after a series of heart breaking events in my personal life. And it was there in my rock bottom moment that Jesus invited me into a something deeper, something that required me to get out of my own boat and walk to him in faith. In three short years I would have never thought I could ever possibly get this close to Jesus, but even if you asked me today, I would still say Iâm not close enough not by a long shot.
[quote]I love him. I love that He & He alone has transformed my heart, I love that He & He alone has broken down walls that my heart put up to protect me from this world, I love that He & He alone calmed the raging seas that wanted to swallow me up, I love that that He & He alone still crushes my enemies while they plot against me, I love that He & He alone has brought me out of darkness and into His light. The Truth is Everyone wants to believe, but true belief requires obedience and if obedience brings about true belief whatâs stopping you?
[quote]Itâs simple.
[quote]Itâs you. Itâs only you stopping you.
[quote]Just as it was only me, who was stopping me. Until I said;ok, itâs everything now Jesus, I give up on me, and I give in to you, I will give you everyday, every chance, every conversation regardless of the result or the response. Because thatâs how you save. One at a time, a day at a time till you have brought back what belongs to you, your sheep, and your flock forever.

Those ramblings about Jesus are very homoerotic. I'm glad that Jesus is filling Nathaniel's hole satisfactorily. The hole he had in his life, I mean.
Benny was definitely charismatic and an interesting character. His story had a satisfying beginning, middle, and end. He gave Dean what he needed at a time when he felt that Sam had abandoned him for Amelia and Cas was being mindraped by Naomi.
But Dean and Cas are a supercouple. They need each other. They love each other and would do anything for each other. I hope that, when Dean and Sam die and go to Heaven one day, Cas will go there to live with them. Jack can visit when he feels like it.

I had only ever seen random photos of Nathaniel, but never visited his Instagram page.
After having looked through it - thanks to the link at R114 - he has lost ALL hotness to me. What a freak.
I guess Jonathan Bennett drove him to it! Rofl

[quote] Supernatural stars react to production pause: 'We almost finished 15 seasons'
Two hours. That's how much of Sam and Dean's journey remains to be filmed.
"We almost finished 15 seasons," Supernatural star Misha Collins says. "We made it 325 episodes in, and to be stopped a mere two episodes before the end feels deeply frustrating." Like everyone, Supernatural halted production back in March due to social distancing measures, and though we know the show will complete its 327-episode series as soon as possible, for now, the end of the show is on hold. (When the show does return, there are a total of seven episodes left to air.)
"As soon as March happened, it really starting kicking in," Alexander Calvert says of the emotion surrounding the end. "Everybody started counting the days, counting the number of episodes left. We were kind of in this spiral of sentiment and then this whole thing happened, and I don't know if it's good or bad. Do you rip the Band-Aid off slowly or fast? Now we're being forced to peel it off slowly."
Co-showrunner Robert Singer adds, "Each script we felt a little like, 'Oh boy we're getting closer.' Having this delayed, it's been hard. If we were in season 14, you would say, 'We'll shut down, get through this virus, and pick up next year.' Knowing that this is the end, that makes it a little more difficult. Now, at the end of the day, it's a television show and what we're going through in the world is pretty horrific. But if it was any other season I don't think we'd be feeling quite as stressed about it as we are now."
For star Jared Padalecki, the quarantine has almost felt like a run-through of what's to come when the show does wrap and he no longer sees his Supernatural family every day. "This COVID thing has been a crazy eye opening of what the show has meant and the ultimate finality of it," Padalecki says. "It's kind of like a little dress rehearsal of what I'm going to do [after the show ends]." (Besides star in The CW's Walker, Texas Ranger reboot, of course.)
As frustrating as it is, there could be an upside to the production pause. "One possible unintended benefit of it is that it will draw out the end of the show and we'll be able to savor the end for a little bit longer," Collins says.
Not only will they be able to savor the end, but they'll be rested enough to bring their collective all to it. "Obviously, itâs a horribly unfortunate situation weâre in, but the silver lining is that it gives us an opportunity to recharge," Jensen Ackles says. "We had just finished episode 18, we shot one day of episode 19, and I was reading these two monster scripts thinking, âItâs like weâre at the end of a marathon and they want us to sprint for the last two miles.â I feel like this almost gives us an opportunity to refocus and go into the last two episodes and hit them with everything we got. I think having this break might service the last few episodes better."
And, as Collins puts it, "I have not been hooked up to a ventilator yet, nor have any of my loved ones, so I'm just going to be thankful for that."

Well, that was a boring show.
Jensen really likes to cut off his wife. It was kind of funny. I guess they both know who wears the pants in that family. Every time Danneel tried to talk, he pretty much cut her off.
He didn't talk too much about Supernatural. Just the usual stuff that has already been reported here.
My takeaway from the JDM show? Christian Serratos (Rosita on the Walking Dead) is a FUCKING BITCH. Her husband is cute, though.

Warning: This is a completely shallow and fan unleashed comment. I just re-watched Mystery Spot and OMG did Kim Manners do great things to J2's faces. Those closeups in the diner scenes, all I can do is concentrate on Jensen's face and his eyes. He makes the greatest listening and concerned faces when Sam is telling him about the same Tuesday keeps happening and he does this thing with his eyes that is hypnotizing. His face is a mix of WTF and I hear you and I'm scared for my brother and I want to make this better. Jared had developed his sad puppy faces by the 3rd season and he brings out the big guns for this episode. RIP Kim Manners - he got the perfect angles and lighting to show these guys looking fantastic.
Later, my favorite scene comes up - the magnificent hug that Sam gives Dean. After they break apart, I am fascinated by how different Jared looks during the closeup when he tells Dean not to go pack the car alone. One second, Jared can look like a lost little boy, but at this angle, he suddenly looks like a male model with that little bit of hair across his forehead. Jensen also is lit and looks like the best concerned brother. I love this episode so much and makes me nostalgic for the days when the show could still beguile me. It makes me sad that we lost this back around S11-12 and it just kept shooting downhill.
