She got off cocaine once she was locked in a room with him and Tarentino. He’s a sociopath.
The Urban Dictionary definition for TL;DR should point to that article.

OP's version of the story is a bit off:
She had quit cocaine years earlier, after spending “one excruciating night” at Quentin Tarantino’s house, listening to him and Anderson brag. “Every addict should just get locked in a private movie theatre with Q.T. and P.T.A. on coke, and they’ll never want to do it again,” she joked.
--
She also details some fairly wretched behavior by Anderson when they were dating, 20 years ago or so. But she says he never hit her, and he directed her in a music video in 2011, years after they split.

He never hit her...but he shoved her out of a car and onto the ground in front of other people.

Basically he is a raging narcissist. Why is it a surprise that the director of The Master and There Will Be Blood would be an odious person?

[quote] Fiona Apple was wrestling with her dog, Mercy, the way a person might thrash, happily, in rough waves. Apple tugged on a purple toy as Mercy, a pit-bull-boxer mix, gripped it in her jaws, spinning Apple in circles.
She looks like Angelina Jolie, IMO. This paragraph about her dog says a lot, IMO. Drama magnet, can't really handle her own dog.

Maya Rudolph is married to PT Anderson and has had child after child with him. I wonder if his behavior improved sometime after his relationship with Fiona Apple.

I'm a huge Fiona fan, but that article was hard to get through. The author used at least twenty words for every one that was necessary.
She pets her late dog's skeleton and talks to it before going to bed? Even by Fiona's standards, that's a bit... yikes.
Still, the album sounds intriguing. Excited to hear new material from her.

She is very very similar to Jolie, with clearly suffer from BPD.
This woman is a 40-year-old who never grew up. And by her interaction with her pathetic and self-loathing ex - I'm not sure PTA acted in the way she describes. I have a close friend with BPD and you can't trust a damn thing they say.
It's always victimhood and drama and surrounding themselves with rescuers (i.e. enablers).
