Funnily enough I was thinking about this the other day - it's going to be quite annoying for a lot of people. Fortunately for me I have a shaved head and a beard and do all my own grooming so it's not an issue for me at all.

Maybe out of necessity more guys will start going for the shaved head look? Works for me...

It's probably the last thing on most people's minds but if this epidemic plays out the way it looks likely it will, the sort of close personal contact necessary between stylists and clients will remain risky for the next several months, and who knows who's still going to be in business when it's safe again. So you may well find yourself having to choose between cutting your own hair or looking like a cave dweller.

Might try to dye it myself. Maybe get someone I know to cut it.

I just got a haircut 2 weeks ago. That should do for a while. I had let it go for way too long by that point: I can trim around my face and ears just fine, but I can't trim the back right now (broken arm). Otherwise, I can usually cut my own hair, but prefer to pay to have it done.

Get a Buff. They're not hot in warm weather.

At the hospital where I work, male nurses and anyone in contact with patients is being officially asked to shave beards. N95 masks don't stop airborne infections with a beard in place.

The only exemptions are for religious requirements.

I decided to just grow my hair out. Everybody's going to be in the same boat with paleolithic shags in a couple of months. It'll be sexy. Also an act of faith that our favorite stylists will make it through this.

I cut my own. Front and sides were fairly easy. But the back was almost impossible.

I bought a Wahl clipper late last year and been cutting my own hair eversince. Youtube has tons of DIY vids.

I'm have a beard trimmer - not a hair trimmer. I'm going to have to go under the knife (on my hair) soon. I'm going to look ridiculous.

I have a wahl clipper that I'm about to use on my wig. I want the all over cropped look ala Clooney in the late 90's.
