Sobering.
Newt Gingrich in Italy: "America Must Act Now"
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 15, 2020 6:34 PM |
Praises Trump’s “decisive actions” and Pence’s task force “making progress” while conveniently ignoring what the administration HASN’T been doing: namely, rehiring the long-dismissed pandemic response team.
Of course, Newt hasn’t been sober since the 80s.

I am afraid of reading anything Newt Gingrith. Please tell me he had the Coronavirus.

TLDR tax cuts

Making Newt's wife Ambassador to the Vatican was a stroke of genius. Who better to send to a bunch of dirtball scumbags that is the Vatican than a dirtball and his whore wife.

I lost respect for Gingrich after reading the article. Didn't think that was possible. He praises Trump lavishly. He's full of shit.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 14, 2020 5:26 PM |
Fuck off Newt! Where were these statements weeks ago? He had first hand knowledge of what was going on in Italy, yet all we heard was radio silence. He doesn't even work for Trump so there was no reason for delay. These damn Republicans are always leading from behind. Thanks for the late notice asshole.

You must have the lowest standards.

How could you have had any?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | March 14, 2020 5:34 PM |
r5 wait a minute. After everything that stunt queen Newt has put this country through, this letter is what made you lose respect for him. He's been praising Trump since day one. How do you think he helmet head looking wife got the job? Did you happen to sleep through the 90s and forget to read the Wikipedia page about the guy?
I bet you're one of those, "both sides are the issue" type of people.

Because to them, a "woke" liberal in Hollywood making a speech about veganism or an NFL player taking a knee is just as big a threat as psychos carrying tiki torches and a guy running over a liberal woman protesting.

It is appalling that every single one of these fucking toadies HAVE TO heap praise on Mango Cheatolini. It is vile and disgusting. Gingrich is so detestable and awful that he probably would have put all that nonsense in there on his own. But if he hadn’t, his whore wife, the Ambassador, would have probably heard about it.

Won't someone please rub a old sick Italian woman's phlegm-smeared hands on his and his wife's mucous membranes?

The repukes close rank and choose the enemy of mine enemy policy to advance their agenda. This is the group who went to the former USSR last year on July 4. Nothing further needs to be said.

I think it's hilarious that the twice-divorced, disgraced politician Gingrich is the ambassador's husband to the papacy.
Besides, what the fuck does an American ambassador to the Pope do exactly anyway? Sounds like a cushy job. Pope doesn't have to answer to anybody, let alone these fuckers, so it sounds like a nice all expenses paid vacation.

r5 here. I phrased my remarks poorly. I meant that I have no respect for Gingrich to start with, and didn't think it was possible to have any more to lose.

I do not take anything a disgusting, power hungry, self-serving rethug, especially Gingrich, says as anything more than an overt grab for power.
Once certain policies are instituted due to the "emergency" they will NEVER be reversed.
As Padme said: "This is how liberty dies...to thunderous applause."

Is this wife the ho he was sleeping with while his actual wife was dying?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 14, 2020 6:05 PM |
I just remembered that Trump offered Chris Christie the role of Ambassador to Italy and Christie turned it down. That's the second luckiest break of his life.

I can't stand Gingrich, but it's a good article.
" A collapsing Europe would have huge impact on the entire world economy, including America."
It's going to happen, bet on it.
Maybe it will put Russia out of business for once and for all. We sure are using a lot less gas with everyone staying home.

"America" must act now?
Try saying "Trump," Newtie, just like you would've said, "Obama."

When I was in grad school in the 90s, and Newt was becoming a prominent political figure, a (southern) woman I knew in the sociology department mused to me in her Georgia drawl, "Newt. Newt. Iddn't dat sum kinda am-phib-ee-an?"
I laughed so hard I never forgot it.

What's his wife like? Is she considered a public figure?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | March 14, 2020 11:56 PM |
HIs wife is the Ambassador to the Vatican, isn't she?
