There must be at least five each week in NYC. And we are not talking of seedy hotels here.... Does management really not know? Do they just look away? Is this discussed in the industry? What about the cleaning staff?
Drug-Fueled Parties in Hotels

Lots of unspeakable things happen in hotels and motels. My sister works in child protective services in a county that has a very busy international airport surrounded by large hotels. Law enforcement routinely busts child sex trafficking operations in all of the surrounding hotels. My sister says that some of the hotels sometimes tip them off but her colleagues also believe that they often look the other way because of bribes, etc. It’s really sick.
And you might wonder why they don’t routinely sweep the hotels...the reality is that my sister’s office is significantly under funded, with a three-month-long backlog of abuse cases to investigate, and they cannot be proactive at all about any investigations. In fact, they have to prioritize only cases they believe to be immediately life threatening.
So if you consider that things like this—kidnapping and forced prostitution of children—happen routinely in hotels, and authorities can’t keep up with these crimes, then consensual group sex among adults even with illegal drugs as part of the mix isn’t going to rise to the top of the priority list unless a celebrity of some sort is involved, or if it gets particularly disruptive.

Is there a good blog on the hotel industry? There was an excellent one on restaurants with good behind-the-scenes stories (better than Bourdain). I wonder whether staff sometimes feels the need to vent.

I used to go to a monthly orgy at a nice hotel in downtown Boston. Some eldergays would get two large hotel suites with a common door and invite at least 50 guys. I’m sure there was some drug activity but not everyone.
Lots of great sex with a whole range of sexy guys from college to daddy.
The evening usually ended with bottoms lined up on the edge of the bed and tops going from bottom to bottom

The hotel industry realizes that a major reason they exist is so that people can have secretive sex
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 14, 2020 12:25 PM |
OP here, I guess you nailed it R4.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 14, 2020 12:27 PM |
I’m going to one this weekend. I’ll ask the hotel and the cleaning people. I’ll let you know when I get back.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 14, 2020 1:27 PM |
Yikes, R3.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 14, 2020 1:30 PM |
Why yikes? Hopefully my party this weekend will be like that except we’re expecting 100+ people.

I got invited to a sex party at a local hotel. Only issue is I'm an InfoSec pro and they wanted me to provide an amazon gift card. This meant it was a no-go for me. I'm sorry but if you can't take a credit/debit card, or cash app or the plethora of more methods that leave at least a trail I don't want to deal with it.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 14, 2020 1:36 PM |
What is Infosec pro?

Does the police ever show up if there is no overdose or violence?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | March 14, 2020 3:32 PM |
R11, why would the police show up. It’s not illegal

I remember my first hotel orgy. I was so nervous. I stopped by a gas station to ask directions and thought they knew exactly why I was going

Hotel prices include discretion.

There used to be a website with a long name like “Cruising for Sex” or something like that where people would list orgies and invite people.
Not sure it exists anymore.
The various gay hookup sites list orgies —barebackrt , asspig, a4a, etc but none as plentiful as cruising for sex used to

What I don’t understand are the hotels for those leather/ BDSM conventions like IML. How do they ever go back to the same venue after having sex crazed shenanigans going on and what I assume leaving cum and lube encrusted rooms behind?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 14, 2020 4:13 PM |
R12 called by the hotel because of suspected drug activity. Nick Gruber got busted like this, no?

R10: Information Security - we're the guys who prevent some of the worst things from happening to people. You know like they get doxed, or find their bank account drained all because they posted their account number.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 14, 2020 7:36 PM |
How do you find out about these sex parties?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 14, 2020 8:25 PM |
R9 So you want people to be able to find you? I don't understand why you want a trail...
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 14, 2020 8:41 PM |
R16, didn’t the main IML hotel in Chicago said it could not longer be held there?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | March 15, 2020 12:25 AM |
Yeah r15 whatever happened to cruisingforsex? I think they bought the Gay Guide, which has different city editions and was freely available at bars. That was before gay.com, Craigslist’s day homoextra.

Why must be? You flyaways have a vivid imagination.

I was staying in a DoubleTree in downtown San Diego when a scrawny, naked white guy started running up and down the hall at about 3:30 in the morning shouting the N word. Scared the crap out of me because I in a deep sleep when it started happening. Turns out (I saw all this through my peephole, it was the room across from mine) it was an orgy with about 15 huge, NFl size black guys and the one white dude. The other guys were trying to get him to come back in the room but he was so meth'ed out that he was just running back and forth. Finally security came up and said they had 5 minutes to get out or the cops would be called. They wrapped the guy up in a sheet and they all left. They were all in various states of undress but got dressed quickly and left.

Ask a pro-wrestler about this. You’ll never want to stay in a hotel room again.
