Taylor is one of the best examples why the closet is bad for you. He holds back so much, out of fear of coming off as "too gay", that his acting makes him look stiff as a board. He's a bit better at comedy where he can be more at ease.

I disagree r16. I think both Pattinson and Stewart are really interesting actors who have made some good choices post-Twilight, especially Pattinson. Stewart still makes some flops (Charlies Angels) but she tries to make interesting choices.

His action movie was awful, but he was beautiful and graceful in it. Kind of like Iron Man III was worthless without Scarlet Johansson’s break-in scenes.

I don't understand why Taylor Lautner is still in the closet. He has no career anymore. What does he have to lose? My only guess is because he's an actual closet case and refuses to admit to himself that he's gay. Maybe it's his family background or whatever, but I doubt it has anything to do with industry pressure at this point since he hasn't worked as an "actor" in years.

He'd be perfect as star of some buddy action comedy franchise, but Hollywood has not done those in ages.

He has several problems, first he is not a good actor (at least he was lucky with Twilight so he is filthy rich anyway), even he is not everybody's taste he was goodlooking but he made the big mistake to think he was lead man material, when his movies flopped hard he was in a bad spot (the natural route would be taking acting classes and try small roles in good films). And he is not good at faking, his fake relationships compete with Shawn Mendes and Timothee Chalamet and terms of ridiculousness, he was mocked but he seems very focused in portray an straight image. The problem is that right now nobody cares

I don't think he's gay and I think he made some missteps in his career by not playing to type. He should have gone the Jr. Action Hero route and played supporting parts in big budget action/adventure pictures. But I'm assuming he got tired of working out.

I recently read somewhere on here that he sold his MTV cribs mansion. I think it’s time for him to come out. It might revive his career in some way because it looks like the money is drying up and the acting roles are few and far between.
