Probably not, OP, but it makes a nice conspiracy theory. Philip McKeon had been sick for well over a year before he died in December. Nancy referenced his having a really difficult year before he died.
That doesn't fit the coronavirus timeline.

Back in December, nobody would have "declined to specify" an illness no-one then knew existed.
