OP has the Weinstein sadz.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | March 12, 2020 9:10 AM |
I read about Weinstein screaming abuse against Julie Taymor when the film, TITUS was released all those years ago. What should have been a professional dispute he turned inside out into a screaming rant filled with anti woman slurs ( in public and in front her her spouse).
when can we look forward to dump going to prison??
by Anonymous | reply 2 | March 12, 2020 9:38 AM |
in front of her husband, I meant to write. Being a nasty, violent person does not mean he is rapist. I still believe that prick traded his influence in exchange for sex. Pay to play. Not rape. Whoredom.

OP couldn't be bothered, so I will put it here for those wondering what the fuck this is all about:
[Accompanying a pic of pre-plastic surgery Kate Beckingsale at a premiere in an all-white tuxedo]
"These photos were taken at the premiere of Serendipity on October 5,2001. We all refused to go because holding a premiere mere weeks after 9/11 with the city still smoking felt like the most insensitive, tone deaf, disrespectful idea possible .But Harvey insisted. We flew into New York and somehow got through it. The next morning Harvey called me and asked if I would like to bring my less than two year old daughter to his house for a playdate with his similar aged daughter I said ok. I turned up and he immediately called for his nanny to take the babies to another room to play. I went to go with them and he said “No, you wait here .” The minute the door closed he started screaming “you stupid fucking CUNT, you CUNT you ruined my premiere .” I had no idea what he was talking about and started to shake. He said,”If I am throwing a red carpet you get in a tight dress, you shake your ass you shake your tits you do not go down it looking like a fucking lesbian you stupid fucking cunt .” The shock made me burst into tears.I tried to say “Harvey, the city is on fire, people are still looking for their relatives none of us even felt the premiere was appropriate much less coming out dressed like it’s a bachelor party .” He said,”I don’t care -it’s my fucking premiere and if I want pussy on the red carpet that’s what I get”.Screaming. Livid. I managed to get myself and my child out of there and yes that was one of many experiences I had that there was no recourse for,and falls under no felony. But I WAS punished for it, and for other instances where I said no to him for years, insidiously and seeming irreversibly. Hearing that he has gone to prison for 23 years is a huge relief to me on behalf of all the women he sexually assaulted or raped, and I hope will be a deterrent to that sort of behavior in this and any other industry. Having said that, the crimes that are not crimes, the inhumane bullying and sick covert abuse for which there is STILL no recourse no matter who you tell(and I did tell),these too need to go.I hope and pray that we as an industry can start to actually outlaw all abuses of power and expose them and eliminate them, for all genders, forever. And Rose, brava "

A court of law that heard quite a bit of evidence says otherwise.
I mean, if you want to make up facts to defend your boy Harvey, go ahead I guess, but it's pretty pathetic at this late date.

You know, there is a reason that Weinstein's defense team didn't listen to anonymous incels on the internet how to defend their client. He would've gotten several life sentences for that defense strategy. So, go on incels and do your best.

If Weinstein had to choose between prison or being raped by someone who looks like John Goodman or Norm from Cheers, one rape for every sexual assault charge brought by an attorney, I wonder which he would choose.

I bring her up, R25, because of her silence after making a rather milquetoast comment of support for the victims. I bring her up because I don't believe those hacked photos were for the boyfriend. I bring her up because I don't think anyone associated with him, deriving their success from him, is left without scars or the taint of his involvement, even if they never told what happened to them or what they knew.
Renee is a mess. Cooper is a mess. Affleck is a mess. Theron is a mess. On it goes.
What could she have been without his involvement? Certainly not a cookie-stamp Stepford type. Maybe something better, but hey, she's got an AA and that's all that matters, right?

JLaw stood on stage receiving an award and said to the audience and to Weinstein " I don't know who you killed to get ME this" during her acceptance speech and the audience laughed indulgently. That's why she is brought up. Reading between the lines, these people exchanged their flesh for movie stardom. It didn't work out for everyone and yes I believe a creep like Weinstein didn't recognize or respect boundaries and held grudges against people who didn't fall in line with his bullshit. He had no reason to call Kate to his private home using an asinine ruse just to scream insults about her appearance. He could have had his people tell her people to tell her to get them titties out on the red carpet if this is was really what it was about. This encounter was an effort to undermine her confidence and get her on board and underneath his foul self. She told him no and made a mortal enemy of him, luckily for Kate, saying no didnt harm her career the way others claim he did.

Holy shit r35. Neither of them? Both mothers of his children and have not one positive thing to say...That is so damning.
And they're whores too, so that is doubly damning, considering that in most other things they clearly both have their price to do even the most foul and disgusting things, such as living with Harvey for decades on end.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | March 13, 2020 6:39 AM |
R36 knowing now what those two wives must have known and tacitly allowed in exchange for $$$$ and connections is doubly nauseating now. I don’t feel the least bit sorry for them — they’re no better than Camille Cosby, maybe worse.
That doesn’t in any way negate or lessen the horrors of what he did. I can think he’s the devil and I can think they’re horrible too — one can have two thoughts at the same time. But yes they’re both complete whores who reaped the benefits of a repulsive marriage of convenience while they knowingly allowed other people to be hurt. Disgusting.

So what should Beckinsale have done 19 years ago?
Call a press conference to say, "My employer called me a cunt and said I looked like a lesbian?"
As she points out, this was not illegal. So who would print the story? What would it accomplish? Would you hire someone who said that about a past employer?
She was not silent about this. I heard this story years ago and so did a lot of other people, so she clearly must have told others as a warning.

by Anonymous | reply 67 | March 13, 2020 4:33 PM |
She's so lovely and seemed like a fun person so I followed her on IG for a while, but eventually I realized she's quite thin skinned. She would do very funny things and post them, but she would only reply in the comments to her friends -- which of course is perfectly normal for a celeb -- but also to people who had posted things that irked her, even if the comments were pretty innocuous. There would be a thousand comments and you would scroll down them and see her replies to, say, Drew Barrymore, but then also her snide replies to Joe Schmo, being quite short with him because she didn't like a comment her posted.
Her example of Weinstein's vileness sounds like him all right, but TBH I've actually heard worse from people who are just rude but not molesty. Sadly this crudity is all too normal in Hollywood, but her reply seems like an overreaction, as if he invaded her anally or something.
The actress who played Pete's first secretary Hildy on Mad Men once told a story that seemed clearly to be about Matt Weiner (she didn't specify), in which a director met her in a hotel lobby the morning of a shoot and screamed at her that she should have been cleaning her cunt instead of (whatever she was doing, I don't remember now), which as far as I'm concerned is a lot worse than what Weinstein said to Beckinsale.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | March 13, 2020 5:07 PM |
ince posting the image and its commentary on her Instagram, Beckinsale has received criticism from followers. The “Underworld” actress, however, has chosen to address the criticisms head-on.
When one follower questioned her motives for going to Weinstein’s house in the first place, Beckinsale replied, “He was my boss. He had not so far been abusive, nor had I seen any evidence on the one movie I had worked on with him. He couched it as a playdate for our kids.”
Another follower, agreeing with Beckinsale’s response, found the actress replying to her. “I think she thinks I gaily took my child to a known rapist house,” Beckinsale notes, “I had no idea what was coming partly because the element of shock and surprise is one of the things he got off on.”
When pressed by another follower as to why she did not speak out earlier about her experiences, Beckinsale replied, “you truly don’t understand any of the dynamics of anything about this. I’ve tried quite hard to explain In the comments but your hatred of women is showing and it’s ugly and you are part of the problem.”
This, of course, isn’t the first time the English-born actress has spoken out about Weinstein.
In 2017, she posted a story to Instagram that alleged the Oscar-winning producer had invited her to his hotel room at the Savoy Hotel. Just 17 at the time, Beckinsale alleged that when she arrived in his room, Weinstein was clad in a bathrobe and offered her alcohol. She was ultimately able to extricate herself from the situation, leaving “uneasy but unscathed.”
As Beckinsale noted in the 2017 post, “I would like to applaud the women who have come forward and to pledge that we can from this create a new paradigm.” The date of Beckinsale’s post is, of course, significant in that just a week before, Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey published what would become the landmark New York Times piece outlining the patterns of abuse that would land Weinstein in jail three years later, facing a sentence of 23 years in prison for sexual assault and rape.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | March 13, 2020 6:18 PM |
Beckinsale is a well-known hussy around Hollywood. She's always out partying and looking for sex. She slept with producers to get starring roles in movies. This is just another of her recent attempts to get publicity now that her career has faded.

silence is consent. Everyone knew who and what Weinstein is , including RM who said nothing and including all of his now loudest critics. As long as Miramax financed their films or offered them a path to stardom, they kept their mouths shut and accepted his abuse as part of the business. Only Courtney Love, who is perceived as a nut could safely say, don't go to his hotel room to take a business meeting.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | March 13, 2020 8:42 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 76 | March 13, 2020 8:43 PM |
Weinstein looks like a walking petri dish with his blubber and his scrunched up unshaven face and wonky eye. There is no way without being a producer, he would get sex voluntarily. If he were a store clerk I guess he'd be going out by the cover of night and straight up knocking women out and raping them. As a producer he could threaten with his power and protection by even the likes of Meryl Streep and Robert De Niro. He had a nice long run. He should think of it that way.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | March 16, 2020 2:36 PM |
