Moore was right that Trump would win the Rust Belt, so I wouldn't completely write off his political instincts. If Biden wants to win that part of the country, he needs to distance himself from globalism. Presumably, since Biden's last name isn't "Clinton", he doesn't yet have the stench of NAFTA on him, but he supported it all the same.

Moore predicted Trump would win but he did so without figuring in Comey and the voter registration hacking from the Russians. Those two things pushed the vote totals in a very few key states to Trump. That's why he won.

Moore isn't a great prognosticator, he was just whining about Bernie not being the nominee when he said Trump would win.
