I was out of town for a week and planned on going back to my usual gym routine tomorrow. Now I'm wondering if they'll have enough Purell and hand wipes.
Is it safe to go to the gym, with the Coronavirus?
by Anonymous | reply 70 | December 17, 2020 5:53 PM |
Honey, since the only exercise you get is bending over and playing "Easy Hole" to married men, I should think sanitized hands the least of your worries.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | March 10, 2020 3:10 AM |
I can set my watch to the obvious DL queen remark. To other non-DL cunts who actually go to the gym--thoughts?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | March 10, 2020 3:23 AM |
Go to the gym with the coronavirus? Are you carrying it with you?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | March 10, 2020 3:23 AM |
No. Put your membership on pause.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 10, 2020 3:24 AM |
Yeah, but for how long, R4? You can't not go to the gym for months. This thing isn't going away.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 10, 2020 3:26 AM |
Just wondered what other people are doing.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 10, 2020 3:27 AM |
I'm going to the gym, OP, but i'm using disiinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer and washing my hands thoroughly when I leave.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 10, 2020 3:29 AM |
You are going to catch it one way or the other. You might as well keep going so you can die as a muscular queen.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | March 10, 2020 3:30 AM |
R5 Don't worry, it'll go away.
This too shall pass.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 10, 2020 3:30 AM |
The STD's at your gym will unite to kill the Coronavirus.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | March 10, 2020 3:43 AM |
OP, we can't even discern what it is you are attempting to ask due to your remarkably poor composition skills.
[quote] Is it safe to go to the gym, with the Coronavirus?
Are you telling us you have Covid-19 and you want to know if its safe to go the gym? For heaven's sake, no. Not for you and not for anyone else.
Or, are you asking if it is safe to go to a gym that has Covid-19 on the premises? Again, for heaven't sake, no!
Or, is your question completely non-specific? Are you asking if a global pandemic rules out going to the gym at all?
How did you write a question so astonishingly vague?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | March 10, 2020 3:53 AM |
Hell, I'm goin' to the gym and lickin' EVERYTHING.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | March 10, 2020 4:12 AM |
Bring those thin latex gloves healthcare workers wear, and anti bacterial wipes of your own, and don't shower at the gym. Go home and shower. And for shit's sake don't go when it's crowded. This thing is passed through fluids. people sneeze cough even spit and sweat. YOu have no idea. I guess you can wear a mask and just say your allergies a re bothering you and you don't want to upset people if you sneeze.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 10, 2020 4:17 AM |
I've been going, but I've been trying to avoid the gym when it's crowded. I've also been staying away from the cardio area since I figure that's where the most germs are getting spread through the air.
I used to laugh at people who would wipe down equipment before they used it, but now I am that person.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | March 10, 2020 4:29 AM |
I want to go to the gym without the coronavirus.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 10, 2020 4:31 AM |
Today I saw a man repeatedly using the hand sanitizer after using machines which I found odd.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 10, 2020 4:43 AM |
[quote] after using machines which I found odd
What kind of odd machines were they?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 10, 2020 4:45 AM |
People are fucking pigs.
Even when healthy, slobs don’t wipe their sweat from the seats and pads and backrests and benches.
Then all those people who go to the gym and steam rooms and saunas to sweat out their sickness - fucking selfish pricks.
You actually think people will be considerate enough to stay home from THEIR workout routine when they feel like they’re coming down with something?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 10, 2020 5:03 AM |
Wash your hands frequently..if ur young n healthy you’ll be fine.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 10, 2020 5:14 AM |
My gym has upped the cleaning rounds on the equipment and has wipes and sanitizer everywhere. Going regularly. They told people with coughs to stay away. But it’s still kind of empty there.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 10, 2020 5:20 AM |
Hmm. I thought cardio would be safer than doing around touching and sitting on all the weight machines and using free weights.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | March 10, 2020 5:31 AM |
how long before a Hazmat suit will be the new look to wear
by Anonymous | reply 22 | March 10, 2020 5:39 AM |
[quote] don't shower at the gym. Go home and shower.
Say it isn't so
by Anonymous | reply 23 | March 10, 2020 7:12 AM |
Gee, cunt R11, others seem to have no issues in comprehending that I'm not asking if it's safe to go to the gym if you have the Coronavirus, but is it safe to go to the gym with the Coronavirus out there.
I hope that's clarified things for twat R11.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 10, 2020 12:40 PM |
I wonder about that, too, but sick people rarely go to the gym. So, I'm still going, but taking extra care.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | March 10, 2020 12:54 PM |
Except, R25, you can have it for 5 days before you start showing symptoms.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | March 10, 2020 1:01 PM |
Don't worry, doll, it probably can't live long in the steam room.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | March 10, 2020 1:04 PM |
My gym allows for a 3 month hold and I just put my membership on hold.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | March 10, 2020 1:50 PM |
R24, you are inarticulate and a dead common bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | March 10, 2020 4:34 PM |
R29 I understood his post just fine.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | March 10, 2020 4:36 PM |
I've been going to the gym as normal. If I'm gonna get it I'm gonna get it.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | March 10, 2020 4:43 PM |
R8 that's my attitude!
by Anonymous | reply 32 | March 10, 2020 4:44 PM |
[quote]You can't not go to the gym for months.
Like hell we can't.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | March 10, 2020 4:47 PM |
Well I live in Italy and my gym has closed.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | March 10, 2020 4:52 PM |
R34 Are you a hot Italian?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | March 10, 2020 5:07 PM |
You mean, does r34 have a fever?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | March 10, 2020 5:15 PM |
It's much safer if you go alone, and leave your Corona at home.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | March 10, 2020 5:31 PM |
So like, you go to the gym, and some asshole is on the treadmill next to you and he is running like a maniac, and he is sweating, and the sweat is DRIPPING off him, and his hair is damp and his tank top is clinging to his chest and he is drenched and the sweat is like, flying off him and you feel a spray from it. The he tests positive. Now what? YOu're dead. Why would you go to the gym, unless you're horny.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | March 10, 2020 5:41 PM |
I'm skipping the gym too.
Better safe than sorry!
by Anonymous | reply 39 | March 10, 2020 5:43 PM |
All of you AFFLUENT DL QUEENS should just buy a treadmill, elliptical machine and weights with a bench and just do your excercising at home.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | March 10, 2020 5:54 PM |
My gym sent out an email that they've hired janitorial service to clean around the clock, and to be sure and clean the machines before and after use. I'm still going to avoid going for the time being.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | March 10, 2020 5:56 PM |
This is insanity. Most people have probably already had it. Or worse.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | March 10, 2020 6:00 PM |
Purell and Astroglide together and you can get a handjob with no regrets (albeit a bit of a stinging feeling).
by Anonymous | reply 43 | March 10, 2020 6:02 PM |
I ran amok - that's great aerobic exercise I found out!
by Anonymous | reply 44 | March 10, 2020 6:05 PM |
[quote]You can't not go to the gym for months
Why not?!
by Anonymous | reply 45 | March 10, 2020 6:11 PM |
Why not shower at the gym? Can the virus be transmitted that way?
by Anonymous | reply 46 | March 10, 2020 6:31 PM |
Only if the gym is plumbed for hot and cold running viruses.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | March 10, 2020 7:36 PM |
Thank you, R30.
And fuck you, R29, you tedious gash.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | March 10, 2020 7:40 PM |
I wash my hands before I go, I wash my hands when I get there, I wash my hands just before I leave. I always carry a towel around anyway so I use that to open doors, press the button on the water fountain, etc.
Plus, my gym is fairly spacious and I don't have to get within a meter of anyone anyway. So I've been going. It's been a little emptier than usual, which helps.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | March 10, 2020 7:44 PM |
"I can set my watch to the obvious DL queen remark."
I'm.... R1 is always supposed to be cunty. It's a DL norm. So that clock-setting ability of yours is apparently being used on a timepiece which has lost its hands.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | March 10, 2020 9:49 PM |
OP give coronavirus to your crabs first. If they don’t die you probably won’t either!
by Anonymous | reply 51 | March 10, 2020 10:11 PM |
R28 will be typing fat soon
by Anonymous | reply 52 | March 10, 2020 10:29 PM |
But R28 will be alive and R52 will be six feet under.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | March 10, 2020 11:53 PM |
"[R1] is always supposed to be cunty. It's a DL norm."
Oh, R50, eldergay waxing nostalgic on the good ol' DL days.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | March 11, 2020 1:59 AM |
I use the gym in a 5 star hotel in Geneva and good people don't carry this Chinese peasant virus.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | March 11, 2020 2:00 AM |
Listen, some of us survived the infamous nacreous layer of permcum... and that thing wasn't made out of violets and glitter.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | March 11, 2020 3:38 AM |
Today I asked my doctor about this, and he advised skipping the gym until the crisis is over.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | March 11, 2020 5:02 AM |
OP then just go. Work out in a public space because lord knows that hasn’t been a problem with Corona. And why are you asking DL? Don’t you have a partner or friend?
by Anonymous | reply 58 | March 11, 2020 6:05 AM |
The symptoms of Covid-19 are sore throat, runny nose, cough and fever. In some people with other factors like cancer, heart disease, COPD, etc. it can be more severe.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | March 11, 2020 6:09 AM |
Ugh, I walked out of my tiny small town gym earlier this evening. It's disgusting. No-one gives a shit about wiping down - I felt like Drumpf creeping around trying to avoid germs.
Now I feel sick. People are pigs.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | March 11, 2020 7:30 AM |
I just go. I'm just living my life. I do use the hand sanitizers and all that stuff with greater frequency, but other than that, my routine is the same.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | March 11, 2020 8:41 AM |
R31, no one cares if you get it. The problem is that you will then spread it.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | March 11, 2020 9:25 AM |
Buy a pair of workout gloves, OP. And leave them at the gym each time, if that is an option for you.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | March 11, 2020 9:44 AM |
Why would you leave them at the gym?
by Anonymous | reply 64 | March 11, 2020 1:44 PM |
I used to wear white cotton gloves at my old gym because I got a skin rash which I attributed to the sweaty machines. But I always felt like a 1950s frau in them.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | March 11, 2020 3:16 PM |
Can’t figure out why they are canceling outdoor sports events. Inside is probably more risky but you’d be at more risk going and coming from outdoor events.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | March 11, 2020 3:26 PM |
there are rumors floating around that we’ll announce our closure either today or at the end of the week, and I’m crestfallen at the thought of the campus gym closing indefinitely.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | March 11, 2020 3:37 PM |
I have been working out from home since March. Luckily, I had some old dumbbells in storage.
I think people going to the gym now are foolish.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | December 17, 2020 3:03 PM |
Yes it’s safe, to go infect everyone else so you can feed your own narcissism. 🤡
by Anonymous | reply 69 | December 17, 2020 3:50 PM |
I'm 60 and I used to go to the gym 4 times a week. I'm more concerned with the cardio area than I am of the weight room. Even with masks, six feet spacing between people is not adequate when people are running on a treadmill (or stairclimber or elliptical). I bought a few dumbbells and an exercise mat, and I'm going to the park for my cardio. I'll go back to the gym once the vaccine is widely available. I don't need to be a "fit" corpse.
