Yes, OP. You are not alone- and I am not some Evangelical type given to literal interpretations of biblical passages a la Revelations. It seems like the Whole World is on Fire these days and there's not much we can do about it. And more regretful- many of the circumstances- Global warming and Humans dining on Bat soup were man- made so to speak, so much of this could have been prevented.
