Lighter thread topic - I need suggestions on a movie to rent
I have a a two hour flight tomorrow. Looking at iTunes, I'm looking for suggestions on something to rent for the flight for my iPad. Looking at the top rentals on iTunes. I'm open to watching again if necessary.
Knives Out (seen it)
Frozen II (meh - I haven't seen the 1st one)
Dark Waters
Ford vs. Ferrari (seen it)
Codes (what the hell is this?)
JoJo Rabbit
Contagion (pass on principle alone)
Parasite (is it appropriate for airplane? Someone always is looking)
Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (seen it)
Midway (normally HARD pass but it might be good)
Hustlers (meh)
Joker (seen it)
Queen & Slim
21 Bridges
One Upon a Time in Hollywood (my mom liked it)
Playing with Fire (PASS)
Jumanji II (PASS)
The Good Liar
Terminator Dark Fate
Crown Vic
Few others that catch my eye:
Zombie Land II
Peanut Butter Falcon
Motherless Brooklyn
Midsommar (OK for a plane?)
The Kitchen
Booksmart
Last Christmas (yes I know it is bad, but is it "bad' bad?)

What about the PG-13 version of Dawson's 50 load weekend?

Downton Abbey, the movie
Your list of movies, except for Last Christmas (which I loved), seem rather dark.

If that isn't a comment on society R3, I don't know what is. I copied and pasted from iTunes.
I did watch Downton Abbey up until the end (of the TV series) so that is a great suggestion. Thanks!

Hustlers was pretty good. It’s not a chick flick. It’s more like a heist flick. There might be some incidental nudity, I don’t remember. It’s so common now, I don’t think twice about it.
Midsommer has some nudity.
Are you adverse to economic-collapse films? I watched “To Big to Fail” a few times. It was entertaining, and I remembered the real life people depicted and some of the things that happened, so it was fun to see what was going on behind the scene.
There are two Madoff films and both are worth watching.
There’s also that film about John Paul Getty, titled “All the Money in the World”, with Christopher Plummer, who I like.
Rollover is an economic collapse film.
If you haven’t seen one of these, that’s what I’d watch. That’s my taste.

Parasite, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Terminator, Peanut Butter Falcon and Midsommar are all good. Pick something you haven't seen.
Parasite should be ok for a plane. No nudity or sex.
Midsommar gets very freaky with the sex, nudity and violence, so it's probably not good for a plane.

Christ they're fine. Some not as great but its not like this anthology will be ending soon, so keep an eye on the thread and when you see 580+posts, make your own title the next installment. Atleast 3 times a week there's a chance to name your thread.

R5 Thought that the Wizard of Lies was a good take on Madoff.
Try to go with something light, stupid but entertaining. How old are you? Something that takes you to a different place is a good thing right now.
Midsommer, I watched several times and I find it fascinating but its not a traveling film. A bigger screen helps the VFX read more clearly.
I'd also like to randomly suggest Blue Jasmine, if you haven't seen it yet, definitely worth watching, or if you want a long watch go for And Then There Were None, gives you something to look forward to on the flight home.
