Anyone watch? I saw a few episodes on HGTV then binged all the ones I missed on HULU. I like the idea of these two trying to save old houses in their town. I like them better than Chip and Joanne who foisted their kids on us every episode and at least this Mississippi couple appear to be more gay friendly those Waco freaks.
Home Town on HGTV
|by Anonymous||reply 314||Last Thursday at 2:27 PM|
I'm not so sure. It IS Mississippi after all. This show just seems to be pandering to the rural market, which is fine.
It's nice to see these dying towns get some makeup, but they are still dying towns and I doubt they'll be able to sell these homes after the renovations.
They most likely made the show to either capitalize on the Gaines' success or to provide a back-up in order to stymie any demands that the Gaines make.
Where do the production crews live for the season? Holiday Inn? EconoLodge? Seriously - those are the options in Laurel, MS.
I can't relate to them. But it's catnip for people who don't live in urban areas.
|by Anonymous||reply 1||03/09/2020|
The town seems fairly prosperous to me. Antique shops, cutesy little cafes. Must be a suburb of a larger city. Kind of like Houstonians (me) going out to Wimberly or Gruene for a weekend.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||03/09/2020|
One of the wives best friends is quite clearly gay as a goose too.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||03/09/2020|
R2 - no, it's in Laurel, MS. It IS the big town around there. Strangely, they have a larger than normal amount of famous people from there.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||03/09/2020|
At least one of their friends owns a bed and breakfast, so I assume that the crew lives there, at least some of them. I do like them much better than Chip and Joanna, who I won't watch now that we know their views on gays....
The Home Town folks did at least one house for a lesbian couple.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||03/09/2020|
I want to do unspeakable things to Ben Napier.
|by Anonymous||reply 6||03/09/2020|
I was raped in the Home Town so I have nightmares.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||03/09/2020|
Filled with f*ckable studs. The tall hunky contractor is freaking sexy as hell. The cute two brothers who are friends of Ben's and ride around with a lot are sexy, especially the little blond one, who helps Ben out a lot in his cabinetmaking shop. I'd ride that little devil for days. They seem very gay-friendly. They've had at least one lesbian couple, and in their recent shows, they featured an older gay couple. Plus they have lots of black clients, which Chip and Joanne seemed to do VERY unfrequently. The floor specialist seems like an old queen to me -- he's really sweet but has unusually good dental work for a typical redneck floor guy. Recently they've had on a young guy who is a design consultant who's obviously gay but somewhat shy. Cutey pie. As you can tell, I'm a big fan of this show.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||03/09/2020|
I like the little guy in the wood shop with his hat on backwards very goofy hot with a nice tight little body. And I have seen at least two lezzie couples so they're just fine by me. I hate Chump and that half Korean bitch wife of his, I can see her slaughtering puppies for breakfast.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||03/09/2020|
Love this show.
It's nice to see a reno show where the houses don't cost one to two million dollars and another $200k for renovations. And I love that they re-purpose so many materials.
Ben and Erin have great chemistry on camera and often say shit that makes me bust up laughing.
I think they're aware that they have a gay following because when Erin said no one would want to get into a tiny bathtub with Ben, he said, "There are a lot of people out there who would love to get into this tub with me." Then smiled slyly to the camera and Erin broke up laughing.
What surprises me is that the show is produced by HGTV Canada, not the American parent company.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||03/09/2020|
They had an unmarried woman and her mother on today so they are so non-judgemental vs. Chump and Cruella de Wacko, it's not even funny.
|by Anonymous||reply 11||03/09/2020|
R10 yes, and he said a lot of PEOPLE. (emphasis mine!)
|by Anonymous||reply 12||03/09/2020|
Disappointed to see that they spoke at the commencement for Liberty University.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||03/09/2020|
I think both Ben and Erin are aware of Ben's bear/gay fanbase and seem to be embracing it Their website has quite a few photos of him shirtless, flexing, etc.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||03/09/2020|
They sure surround themselves with good looking men.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||03/10/2020|
Ben's brother is cute. I'd climb both those mountains!
|by Anonymous||reply 16||03/10/2020|
Love their style. So over Chip and Joanna and farmhouse style.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||03/10/2020|
I can't stand watching Chip and Joanna. Chip's "antics" aren't funny in the least, just highly annoying. The reveals are just commercials for their home décor line, with close-ups of the pieces in their line. They might as well add the prices and a link to order online.
Ben's "boys" are all really hot and I'd love a tumble at the old swimmin' hole with that little blond guy with the backwards baseball cap who helps Ben a lot in the woodworking shop.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||03/11/2020|
I think their friend "Shuff" was kinda cute.
|by Anonymous||reply 19||03/11/2020|
R10 You'd be surprised how many "home" shows are produced by HGTV Canada. We brought American Scott Mcgillvary, Property Brothers, Mike Holmes, Debbie Travis and countless other HGTV shows/ personalities. Half the real estate shows are also Canadian produced.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||03/11/2020|
Ugh, his voice, OP. I cannot TAKE his voice. And its not the accent, it's how his voice comes out the back of his nose and throat at the same time. Sets me on edge to the point I can't watch more than 90 seconds of it.
And if I can't stand it, that means that is one ungodly voice, because I learned to tolerate Christina El Moussa-Amstead's braying and Nicole Curtis's nasal Michigan twang.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||03/11/2020|
And its not the accent, it's how his voice comes out the back of his nose and throat at the same time.
That's a sign of Appalachia.....interesting since Ben is from near Laurel.
But that nose/throat combo is found in KY and western PA, among other places.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||03/11/2020|
She's television Ambien - way to mellow for my taste.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||03/11/2020|
This is the hottie friend of Ben Napier that I'd love to have my way with.
|by Anonymous||reply 24||03/11/2020|
Another one of the hottie, with his cute brunet brother on the right.
|by Anonymous||reply 25||03/11/2020|
The little guy seems very gay to me. He and his brother are Ben's best friends. He seems very enamored of Ben, that's for sure.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||03/13/2020|
Wife is very frau-ish.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||03/13/2020|
Sometimes difficult to tell the swishy straight southern boys (complete with bow ties and pink pants and penny loafers) from the gays....
|by Anonymous||reply 28||03/13/2020|
Wednesday's episode had a bear couple and they were interracial!
In the first season there was a guy helping Ben who had short black hair and a close cropped beard. He used to wear the cutest socks.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||03/13/2020|
Of the two brothers, Josh is the smaller (cuter) one and Jim is the heavier, taller one. Josh was Ben's roommate in college (Ole Miss).
|by Anonymous||reply 30||03/13/2020|
Mike Husers is the name of the floor guy, who seems pretty gay to me. Also a sweetheart.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||03/13/2020|
R29 I know who you mean. He was a total stud muffin. Wonder what became of him?
|by Anonymous||reply 32||03/13/2020|
Love this show!!!
|by Anonymous||reply 33||03/13/2020|
I'm not into gingers normally, but Ben is damn hot.
|by Anonymous||reply 34||03/13/2020|
He was in I think three episodes R32 but he hasn't been on any other shows.
I forgot to mention the episode with the mother and son. The son was a young chub who studied music and was gay as a picnic basket.
|by Anonymous||reply 35||03/13/2020|
R35 Oh yes, I remember her!
|by Anonymous||reply 36||03/13/2020|
Every time the music student chubqueen saw something he liked, he clapped like the Chippendales were serving him at Old Country Buffet.
|by Anonymous||reply 37||03/13/2020|
Can we start a petition demanding Ben wear nothing but a jockstrap during the renovation part?
|by Anonymous||reply 38||03/13/2020|
And his cute buddies, too.
|by Anonymous||reply 39||03/13/2020|
I like the show, I like the people, but what's with her old lady hair-do?
|by Anonymous||reply 40||03/13/2020|
Is there anyone watching this show who'd notice Erin's hair?
|by Anonymous||reply 41||03/13/2020|
Just saw the one with the gay couple. Absolutely chose the wrong house. But it was laughable anyway that they came to town "three times a year" but thought it would be cheaper to spend 150 grand on a house than pay for a hotel.
|by Anonymous||reply 42||03/13/2020|
|by Anonymous||reply 43||03/13/2020|
Too bad the first M/M couple on the show were so fuggo.
|by Anonymous||reply 44||03/13/2020|
Erin believes in Hairspray. That lil short chop of hers DOES NOT MOVE.
|by Anonymous||reply 45||03/13/2020|
R42 I got the impression they planned to rent it out when not using it.
He's Southern R43. That can screw up a Northerner's gaydar.
R44 they were plain but cute. And honestly they look like most of the couples I know.
|by Anonymous||reply 46||03/14/2020|
r46, rent to who? I would bet the airbnb business in Laurel is not that big.
|by Anonymous||reply 47||03/14/2020|
You wouldn't think Waco is all that but it now has a big airbnb business. People come specifically to stay in a Gaines house and then visit their tacky tchotchke silo.
|by Anonymous||reply 48||03/14/2020|
With an HGTV show, you can bet it will turn into a tourist destination. Looks like a charming little town and it already appears to have an artsy store/cute cafe area going on.
|by Anonymous||reply 49||03/14/2020|
Glad to know I’m not the only one lusting after cute little Josh. I’d love to get that tight little body in my bed.
|by Anonymous||reply 50||03/14/2020|
people come to Waco for sportsball games = why Air BnB is big there.
|by Anonymous||reply 51||03/15/2020|
I just watched an episode with a guy helping Ben who had tight, tight jeans and hot pink socks. The camera did an ass shot and dwelled on the pink socks and he made a comment to Ben about "you know what they say about goodlooking guys".....he had dark hair, a beard, tats....I'm thinking they are fairly gay friendly.
|by Anonymous||reply 52||03/16/2020|
See, I get really asexual vibes from the wife. She seems like the classic Mississippi LUG.
|by Anonymous||reply 53||03/16/2020|
I think the wife is a cutie pie. What's a LUG?
|by Anonymous||reply 54||03/17/2020|
That's the guy I was talking about R52!
|by Anonymous||reply 55||03/17/2020|
I hate that butter-wouldn't-melt mo-las-ses mouthed pair with their pecan pie smiles and slow, syrupy, ah shuck ain't-we-darlin' down home, savin' our little piece of heaven, one buildin' at a time thing. It's cloying and treacly and doesn't wear well after five minutes.
|by Anonymous||reply 56||03/17/2020|
I asked my husband if he'd move (together) to Mississippi for a million dollars and he said fuck no.
I changed it to five years for a million and he reconsidered.
|by Anonymous||reply 57||03/17/2020|
^^^^Chip and Joanne Gaines.
One thing I appreciate is they don't have their kid on tv like the Gainses. I hated that so much of their shows featured their stupid kids (the woman must be pregnant constantly) and "idyllic" little farm. They always showed the kids running in the new home with drinks and food in their hands and I'm sure it was product placement for their bakery. My mother was visiting one day and while drinking wine and watching, she said those kids would've gotten a broom against their ass if they they'd tried that shit in her newly cleaned home.

LUG - lesbian until graduation
LAG - lesbian after graduation
|by Anonymous||reply 59||03/17/2020|
Yes, they've said they want to limit exposure of Helen.
Which is classy.
|by Anonymous||reply 60||03/17/2020|
They named their kid HELEN?? Wow. I guess that's preferable to some of the "newer" names like Jayden and whatever, but HELEN???
|by Anonymous||reply 61||03/17/2020|
R61 I believe it was a family name. It's nice. A little 70s but nice. And not quite as old lady as Ruby.
|by Anonymous||reply 62||03/17/2020|
I swear, there is so much eye candy on this show. Every episode has at least one fuckable guy, at least. Sometimes they speak, but sometimes they are just workmen or tradesmen in the background.
How many has Big Ben cornholed in the backyard while Erin is painting watercolors?
|by Anonymous||reply 63||03/17/2020|
I like his buddy from the shop.
|by Anonymous||reply 64||03/17/2020|
^^If that isn't cookie face, I don't know what is.
|by Anonymous||reply 65||03/17/2020|
he's already bent over and lubed, ready for Big Ben's big one.
|by Anonymous||reply 66||03/17/2020|
R64 that's the guy with the cute socks!
|by Anonymous||reply 67||03/17/2020|
this was the cutie they had on the other week, "Shuff"....he was very dandyish/metrosexual.
|by Anonymous||reply 68||03/17/2020|
Speaking of other bearish home-show hosts, I like Mark Bowe from DIY's [italic]Barnwood Builders.[/italic]
|by Anonymous||reply 69||03/17/2020|
Don't derail the thread R69!
|by Anonymous||reply 70||03/17/2020|
Ben's shop helper tonight was a cute li'l cub named Randy.
|by Anonymous||reply 71||03/17/2020|
R53 you're just jealous cause she gets to snuggle that teddy bear . You can tell from their body language that they are very physical and loving. She scootches right up to him even when hes dripping sweat . Lucky bitch . I think as a couple they are adorable,and very much in love . I get the vibe off Erin that shes not adverse to stepping out back and smoking a joint either.
|by Anonymous||reply 72||03/17/2020|
It’s been a nice distraction from Coronavirus. I enjoy the fantasy of life’s problems being solved by the slow pace of a small Southern town and the frugal renovation of an inexpensive house. It’s easy to forget how miserable I would be actually living there.
|by Anonymous||reply 73||03/17/2020|
I always found it difficult to gauge a time frame but I noticed on one house Erin was fairly flat bellied in the first episode and by the time of the reveal she was ready to drop. I know they work on several homes at the same time.
This one, which I love, was for sale. I remember this episode too.
|by Anonymous||reply 74||03/18/2020|
So Erin said on Insta/Twitter she thinks it's possible that she had the virus.
|by Anonymous||reply 75||03/20/2020|
Just found this thread. I love this show
All these posts and no one mentioned the incredibly eccentric older artist she commissioned to do a painting. It was a couple weeks ago. She said he was very famous & sought after. He was gayer than a lavender draped Cher doll and so bizarre.
Did anyone catch his name/ I wanted to look him up.
|by Anonymous||reply 76||03/21/2020|
I don't remember his name R76 but I saw that show too. Apparently he was famous for being a forger and his forgeries hung in museums before he was caught out.
|by Anonymous||reply 77||03/21/2020|
Mark Landis is his name.
|by Anonymous||reply 78||03/21/2020|
Thanks for the name. I went to his Wikipedia. What a strange bird. It mentioned about his having a mental illness. It also said there's a documentary about him called Art & Craft. It's about his life & his decades of forgery.
|by Anonymous||reply 79||03/21/2020|
Yes, he was rather strange in his appearance on Home Town.
|by Anonymous||reply 80||03/21/2020|
I'm going to binge this during this corona thing. Nice break from all the news.
|by Anonymous||reply 81||03/22/2020|
Cutie pie alert. Cute pastor husband with fat wife and 5 kids. He married down in looks.
|by Anonymous||reply 82||03/22/2020|
Ben could come and sleep in my bed while Erin is under quarantine.
|by Anonymous||reply 83||03/22/2020|
I bet Ben has a ridiculously thick cock.
|by Anonymous||reply 84||03/22/2020|
He's of Scottish descent, so I'd say there's a good chance that that's the case.
|by Anonymous||reply 85||03/22/2020|
I'd fantasize somethin' like this
|by Anonymous||reply 86||03/22/2020|
but of course Ben would be thicker and have a full bush too
|by Anonymous||reply 87||03/23/2020|
Wednesday's episode had their friend Shuff looking to buy a house. We were told repeatedly that he's a bachelor.
|by Anonymous||reply 88||03/23/2020|
R88, Shuff was quite a dish. I wondered if he might be gay. That house was certainly beautiful, and I loved the live edge coffee table.
|by Anonymous||reply 89||03/23/2020|
The Shuff ep was originally on a few weeks ago. He seems to like the ladies on his social media, but he did make that side trip to Chicago......wouldn't be shocked if he's no stranger to cock.
He's the definition of a Southern dandy.
|by Anonymous||reply 90||03/23/2020|
That's funny R90. The show is produced by HGTV Canada but we get the new episodes weeks after the US channel.
|by Anonymous||reply 91||03/23/2020|
New episodes air every Monday night in the US.
|by Anonymous||reply 92||03/23/2020|
I like this couple, They're funny and down to Earth. They do say "like" unnecessary way too much for me though.
One of Ben's workshop helpers is cute.
|by Anonymous||reply 93||03/23/2020|
Mallorie (Erin's friend who helps her decorate and stage) had her baby tonight.
Did not realize she is married to Jim, one of Ben's cute buddies (the towheaded one)
|by Anonymous||reply 94||03/23/2020|
Must have been this chat but I had such an intensely sexual dream about the men on this show last night. LOL.
|by Anonymous||reply 95||03/24/2020|
I loved the house they renovated this week. I'm really drawn to a Craftsma.
|by Anonymous||reply 96||03/25/2020|
And craftsmen, you whore!
|by Anonymous||reply 97||03/25/2020|
I had a dream this morning that Ben and Erin were in a Hallmark movie called Home Town Mystery.
The movie was the premise of their show but during the renovation they found a skeleton under the floor.
The house belonged to a man who was co-owner of a local business and everyone believed he had moved away.
The other owner of the business was still alive and was the person who told the town that this guy had upped and moved away to Alaska.
At one point Ben is walking around downtown and all the ladies and calling out "Hi, Ben!" and he's loving the attention until he bumps into Erin.
They found out that the living owner wanted to sell the business back in the 1940s but the dead guy didn't want to because he wanted to convert the factory for the war effort.
Sadly I woke up before the ending.
|by Anonymous||reply 98||03/27/2020|
|by Anonymous||reply 99||03/27/2020|
i could get lost in Ben's furry chest
|by Anonymous||reply 100||03/28/2020|
...or in his rolls of fat
|by Anonymous||reply 101||03/28/2020|
so if I understand right Mallorie's husband is Erin's brother.
|by Anonymous||reply 102||03/31/2020|
Or maybe not. But Erin said in the recent episode that she "used to be a Raspberry." So maybe they're cousins.
Anyway, those friends of Ben's are apparently more than just helper buddies....they are all part of a group working to revitalize Laurel.....
|by Anonymous||reply 103||03/31/2020|
Did anybody see the new Lotto Dream House from England?
The host is not as outrageous as David.
|by Anonymous||reply 104||04/04/2020|
Ugh, that tired old queen is Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen. Not aging well. The pudgy poofter styles himself as a posh decorator with his fake posh name and tacky, luridly colored outfits. David Bromsted is infinitely more relatable that this ancient relic, even with the disgusting tattoos.

4/10 Selling the Big Easy
4/14 Bargain Mansions

|by Anonymous||reply 107||04/05/2020|
I can't get past the visual of him flattening her during sex.
|by Anonymous||reply 108||04/05/2020|
Erin: Why do they call it a French trench?
Ben: I think because you use your tongue.

There was a reno show based in Minneapolis by a husband and wife team. She wore these goofy, big pom-pom earrings. Can't remember the name of the show. It appears to be gone. The show just had no wow or magic to it.

|by Anonymous||reply 113||04/05/2020|
R110 It was Stay or Sell.
I liked it. The guy is kinda cute.
Their first season was on last fall. HGTV probably isn't renewing them, but it's possible.
|by Anonymous||reply 114||04/05/2020|
what has happened to Johnathan, the project manager with the biggest crotch bulge on any tv rehab show? he hasn't been on the 2020 season....

His pants exploded.
|by Anonymous||reply 116||04/06/2020|
Jonathan was away for the season, but I think he may be back.
I never noticed the bulge!
|by Anonymous||reply 117||04/06/2020|

|by Anonymous||reply 119||04/06/2020|

He and his wife adopted 4 young boys within the last couple of years.
|by Anonymous||reply 120||04/06/2020|
Apparently our boy Ben has lost 55 pounds over the last year. Way to go, Ben!
|by Anonymous||reply 121||04/06/2020|
He lost it before Season3 started, so that article's a little old.
|by Anonymous||reply 122||04/06/2020|
They did a great job renovating the home last night.. That had to be the most expensive house in Laurel at $500K
The wife's brother was a cutie too.
|by Anonymous||reply 123||04/07/2020|
The wife's brother may have been on a season one episode? If I understood what they were saying.
|by Anonymous||reply 124||04/08/2020|
It was the brother of the client wife. He helped Ben in the shop to make a present for his sister. He was very handsome.
|by Anonymous||reply 125||04/08/2020|
Right. During his time in the workshop, they showed a short clip from a season one show. I thought it meant that the brother (and HIS wife) were in an earlier episode.
|by Anonymous||reply 126||04/08/2020|
I was bummed to see they are being preempted for the next few weeks for that celebrity home makeover show. Home Town comes back in May. I've found the warm, mellow vibe from Home Town very comforting of late.
|by Anonymous||reply 127||04/08/2020|
I love the fact that Erin and Ben do so many old bungalow Craftsman style homes and preserve a lot of architectural details or restore what's been covered up. Craftsman is one of my favorites styles with the details and built-ins and beatifule wood floors.
|by Anonymous||reply 128||04/08/2020|

Lost my respect for Chip and Joanne when he used the term, I believe it was “cornhole”, like it was a bad thing. Given HGTV’s gay following, I’m surprised there hasn’t been more criticism of Chip and Joanne.
|by Anonymous||reply 131||04/08/2020|
Most of the Waco weirdos fans are die hard christian fraus. My mom who is an avid HGTV watcher can't stand them. Says they are too phoney, drag their brats on the show too much and Joanne is fairly one note. Interesting in the beginning but got old and when she found out how uber conservative christian they were she lost complete interest. Plus she said Chip acts like an overgrown frat boy.
|by Anonymous||reply 132||04/08/2020|
R130 I loved his reactions after the renovations. By far the most honest I've ever seen on this type of show.
|by Anonymous||reply 133||04/08/2020|
Yeah, when he started to cry after seeing his dad's picture.....
|by Anonymous||reply 134||04/08/2020|
On an epiode I aw within the last week, Erin was teasing Ben about something and Ben slyly said something like, "There are a lot of people who would want to get with this." He didn't say "women" so he may be aware of his gay fanbase, despite reading his bible every morning.
|by Anonymous||reply 135||04/08/2020|
^^^It was a tiny tub. See R10 above.
|by Anonymous||reply 136||04/09/2020|
I'd scrub a dub dub with Ben in a tub.
|by Anonymous||reply 137||04/09/2020|
R130 that place is one of their best!
|by Anonymous||reply 138||04/09/2020|
Ben's frriend Josh Nowell is adorable.
|by Anonymous||reply 139||04/09/2020|
R139 agreed. I wanna suck his socks off!!
|by Anonymous||reply 140||04/09/2020|
These genuinely nice guys on Home Town make Drew and Jonathan Scott seem phony and staged.
|by Anonymous||reply 141||04/10/2020|
R64 J Pickens is like a wet dream come to life.
|by Anonymous||reply 142||04/10/2020|
They showed some Curb Appeal reruns today. WTF did they quit making this show? I loved it.
|by Anonymous||reply 143||04/10/2020|
^^^Wasn't gay porn model Michael Loftis on that?
|by Anonymous||reply 144||04/10/2020|
R143, I saw it, also. I miss John Gidding. He's such a cutie.
Interesting bio, too:
John Gidding (born January 7, 1977) is a Turkish-American designer, television personality, and former fashion model.
Gidding started modeling in 2000 as a graduate student, performing runway shows for Armani, Gucci, and Hugo Boss before being represented by Wilhelmina Models in New York City. Before entering the design profession, Gidding was the spokesmodel for Jhane Barnes in 2004 and 2005. He's also been on the covers of numerous romance novels.
He was voted one of "Yale's 50 Most Beautiful People" in 1999 by Rumpus Magazine, one of "Boston's 50 Most Eligible Bachelors" by The Improper Bostonian in 2002, one of "Atlanta's 50 Most Beautiful People" by Jezebel Magazine and as one of Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles's "Emerging Talent: Twenty Under 40" in 2008.

Tornadoes came within a few miles of Laurel last night
|by Anonymous||reply 146||04/13/2020|
Tonight I'm watching the new show Celebrity IOU.
|by Anonymous||reply 147||04/13/2020|
Gidding was handsome as hell, but had no on-screen personality. He came across as cold, and had no rapport with the others on the show.
|by Anonymous||reply 148||04/13/2020|
I thought just the opposite. Gidding seemed charming and warm - especially when he smiled. He did have moments though of being all business. His carpenter Chip Wade was hot. Photo linked below.
When looking for Chip Wade's last name, I found out that the first carpenter on Curb Appeal - Bill Beckwith - died in a motorcycle accident in 2013 :(

is no one else sort of bothered by Ben saying that he likes "dinge" in the opening? i too like black men, but i'd never use the word dinge to refer to them!
|by Anonymous||reply 150||04/13/2020|
R150 LOL! I haven't heard the word "dinge queen" in ages.
|by Anonymous||reply 151||04/13/2020|
Celebrity I0U was really enjoyable. Brad is hot AF and his love for his longtime friend of 30 years was so sweet. She was truly shell shocked by the changes made to her guest house.
They maximized every square inch of that house & made it 100% livable as well as functional for her needs.
|by Anonymous||reply 152||04/13/2020|
I liked it as well.
Brad seems a nice guy.
The transformation was a amazing. That money no object thing is really nice as well.
3 weeks! I wonder if they had crews going 24/7.
|by Anonymous||reply 153||04/14/2020|
i now hate, HATE HGTV for all their NEW shows that are reruns of old episodes with one or two minutes of new crap cut into....
|by Anonymous||reply 154||04/14/2020|
Yeah, they think if they add snippets of behind the scenes stuff it’s “new”.
I’ve been fooled before as well.
|by Anonymous||reply 155||04/14/2020|
Who was that weirdly hot little guy Ben had in his shop on a couple of episodes that dressed like Ben ??? He had a red beard and black hair ! I got an aspie vibe off him.
|by Anonymous||reply 156||04/14/2020|
|by Anonymous||reply 157||04/14/2020|
^^^So am I!
|by Anonymous||reply 158||04/14/2020|
There were some hot guys on The Crosby House episode of Home Town. Were the owners of the curio shop gay? The guy in the tee shirt had a good body and Laramie, their construction employee was cute too.
|by Anonymous||reply 159||04/14/2020|
Tamara was back tonight with Bargain Mansions. I love her show. Her father is sporting a fetching full beard now.
I have always detested subway tile but she did one bathroom in a beautiful translucent longer subway tile that had small bubbles in it. She did the pattern in a double herringbone pattern done on a carry corner. It was gorgeous.
Why does everyone pick those plain solid subway tiles?
|by Anonymous||reply 160||04/14/2020|
..” he likes "dinge" in the opening?” R150 My husband and I were floored by that new opening phrase included. Erin and Ben are most likely too young to know the racist connections in that word. Many times I hear younger kids using phrases that my racist grandfather used.
|by Anonymous||reply 161||04/15/2020|
Im 60 ,grew up in the south ,and never once heard "dinge" in reference to black people .And my redneck fanily used every derogatory reference in the book about blacks. You bitches are reaching .
|by Anonymous||reply 162||04/15/2020|
Sorry r162 My father in Michigan used the word all the time instead of the N word if my mother was present
|by Anonymous||reply 163||04/15/2020|
Only a racist would know that "dinge" referred to blacks. I assure you that Ben never heard of it, nor would he use it. He and Erin are about as non-racist as you can get. Not everyone in Mississippi is KKK, for Christ's sake.
|by Anonymous||reply 164||04/15/2020|
Dinge or dingy to most people means old, drab, rundown, etc.
|by Anonymous||reply 165||04/15/2020|
I have never, ever heard of dinge meaning anything other than old or rundown. Sounds like your father was a racist.
|by Anonymous||reply 166||04/15/2020|
I lived in the Rust Belt when I came out and several Southern queens I knew, black and white, referred to a white man who liked black men as a dinge queen.
|by Anonymous||reply 167||04/15/2020|
|by Anonymous||reply 168||04/15/2020|
R168 - well that proves it. Ben must be a 65 y/o queen born in the Rust Belt.
|by Anonymous||reply 169||04/16/2020|
I doubt they meant it in a racial way, though.
|by Anonymous||reply 170||04/16/2020|
I'm from the south originally and never heard dinge used as a racial term there. However, moving to a northern city in the 1970s, I heard the term, as in "dinge bar" where white and black men went to meet each other....
|by Anonymous||reply 171||04/20/2020|
Can we please stop talking about the word "dinge" and get back to discussing hot guys, please?
|by Anonymous||reply 172||04/20/2020|
Anybody into Big Texas Fix ? Micheal Cordray puts the cream in my twinkie ! Not my usual type at all , but theres something about him .
|by Anonymous||reply 173||04/20/2020|
Michael Cordray is hot stuff. Give him a kiss for me too honey.
|by Anonymous||reply 174||04/20/2020|
Never heard of that show, but holy crap, that guy is hot!!
|by Anonymous||reply 175||04/20/2020|
Michael is super cute. He and Ashley both ping to me.
|by Anonymous||reply 176||04/20/2020|
I wonder if Ben/Erin's home or any homes they renovated where damaged by the tornado that hit Laurel?
|by Anonymous||reply 177||04/20/2020|
Big Texas Fix is a DIY show and for some reason HGTV only runs certain shows from the DIY catalogue.
|by Anonymous||reply 178||04/20/2020|
R177 The last tornado was about 5-10 miles north, and I know most of their homes have either been IN Laurel or south, but not sure.
|by Anonymous||reply 179||04/20/2020|
May 25 is the day the rest of the Home Town episodes show up.
|by Anonymous||reply 180||04/27/2020|
There is a rerun on right now and the couple are doctors and she has a bad case of vocal fry. Ugh.
|by Anonymous||reply 181||04/27/2020|
Erin has nice taste and listens to the clients. For that reason alone never mind the chemistry she has with her husband to show us enjoyable to watch. I still prefer House hunters international so that I can dream about someplace that is a governed by crazy man.
|by Anonymous||reply 182||04/27/2020|
I adore Erin ,and I like her work mostly , but I do feel she could pep it up a bit . Her rooms are perfectly pleasant ,but is there anything really memorable ? I think deep down Erin would like to be more avant garde . I could see her smoking a doobie and painting a room purple .
|by Anonymous||reply 183||04/27/2020|
Well R183 she does have to consider the buyers taste. She's did a house for a young lesbian couple and she got a bit funky with color. I've noticed with women only she uses more color.
|by Anonymous||reply 184||04/27/2020|
I've been watching that Celebrity IOU and those two brothers stuff all looks alike. Whites, grays and black. Almost no color. It's soothing, I supposed, but I like more color.
|by Anonymous||reply 185||04/27/2020|
I loved last night Celebrity IOU. In all 3 episodes you really see that the celebrities truly love the people they are doing this for.
|by Anonymous||reply 186||04/28/2020|
The Viola one was a bit weird, though. They kept basically calling her scary!
|by Anonymous||reply 187||04/28/2020|
Of course, they are footing the bill. I can’t imagine that the fixes are cheap.
|by Anonymous||reply 188||04/28/2020|
They had two Oscar winners and an Oscar nominee in the first three episodes.
The next one is.....oh. Michael Buble.
|by Anonymous||reply 189||04/28/2020|
I'm just seeing the Home Town with the gay couple. The artist Erin visits is autistic or something. Weird.
|by Anonymous||reply 190||04/28/2020|
The artist is schizophrenic and a famous art forger. There's been a doc made about him.
|by Anonymous||reply 191||04/28/2020|
R190 This was discussed at great length earlier in the thread. See replies 75-80ish.
His name is Mark Landis.
|by Anonymous||reply 192||04/28/2020|
I am going to be watching Buble closely after all that hullabaloo that he abuses his wife. His wife sure looked like a panicked frightened woman in that video the other day.The fear in her eyes was haunting.
I doubt he'll display anything of the sort with the 2 brothers.
|by Anonymous||reply 193||04/28/2020|
Buble's son has been battling cancer this past year. I wonder if he'll mention it or if it has changed his personality.
|by Anonymous||reply 194||04/28/2020|
Ben made an off the cuff remark recently along the lines of "If youre going to be a bear,be a Kodiak bear" and sorta smiled as he said it. he absolutely knows the Bear community worship him !
|by Anonymous||reply 195||04/30/2020|
Love this show. They are a cute couple, and I so want to do nasty things to Ben Napier.
Like others have noted, the show's charm is the fact that the homes and renovations are affordable and their re-use of material. They don't destroy the character of the homes. They also have some sense of design. Joanna just puts up a barn door, a long table "for entertaining" (something which most people never do as much as they say they will), or an "art piece" that means something special to the couple (invariably a biblical verse).
Plus, that Mississippi town is charming. Have you people ever been to Waco? Seriously?
|by Anonymous||reply 196||04/30/2020|
^^Don't forget the shiplap!!!
|by Anonymous||reply 197||04/30/2020|
R196, I'm in Texas and won't go near Waco.
|by Anonymous||reply 198||04/30/2020|
I so want to do nasty things to Ben Napier
I want Ben Napier and his dick - undoubtedly as long and as thick as the man himself - to do nasty things to ME
|by Anonymous||reply 199||04/30/2020|
He said recently that his mom is 6 feet tall. That's a big family! Erin must feel like a shrimp at her in-laws' house at Christmas.
|by Anonymous||reply 200||04/30/2020|
Joanna is a one trick pony just like the divorced couple on Flip or Flop.
Joanna's go to's are subway tile, open shelving, plain straight mantles and beige/cream/wood
On Flip or Flop they only use Grey/Black/White---period.
On Home Town they enhance the home as much as possible, use various colors on the inside and the outside & layer in furnishings. The homes look welcoming, warm and not cookie cutter. Add to it Ben/Erin are engaging, fun & have no stick up their asses like the Flip/Flop couple & aren't cloying/fake like the Gaines.
|by Anonymous||reply 201||04/30/2020|
I can't believe someone gave the Gaineses their own CHANNEL
|by Anonymous||reply 202||04/30/2020|
I have a feeling it’s gonna flop hard.
Hate them so much.
Hypocritical assholes. But then again, they’re Christian, so, there you go.
|by Anonymous||reply 203||04/30/2020|
FYI - I work for a regional furniture chain in the south east. We carry Joanne's line of furniture. It's NOT really selling at all. This is our first celeb furniture line and it may be the last.
|by Anonymous||reply 204||04/30/2020|
Probably overpriced, cheaply made shit that Wayfairer and all those other online retailers sell for way cheaper.
|by Anonymous||reply 205||04/30/2020|
I'm waiting for the Gaines' oldest boy to turn up in the news for drug charges or something illicit. He seems like a bad seed.
|by Anonymous||reply 206||05/01/2020|
I have a feeling it’s gonna flop hard.
I think so too. It just feels like their time has come and gone. Chip is annoying as fuck and Joanna is a one trick pony. Does anyone except possibly a few fraus care about them anymore.
|by Anonymous||reply 207||05/01/2020|
I mean, it might, at best, elevate the DIY brand. Right now it's an second rate HGTV, but mostly because it's not as available as HGTV.
As long as they keep showing Restored and Brett Waterman's hot ass, we're OK.
|by Anonymous||reply 208||05/01/2020|
I long ago decamped for DIY as apparently HGTV is only about those Twincest queens or Love it or list it .
|by Anonymous||reply 209||05/01/2020|
Furniture and houseware lines branded by HGTV hosts don't do well. Drew and Jonathan Scot have been pushing a line for a while, as have the Gaines clan with their Magnolia Homes collection. The only people buying Chip & Joanna's stuff are the Becky's and Karen's of the midwest and south.
I'm so done with most of the shows on HGTV, which is sad because I'm a long time fan of the channel. However, Home Town gets my attention as does Good Bones with Mina and her mom Karen. Both groups of folks are down-to-Earth, caring people who aren't preachy or churchy (even though Ben does seem to come from a religious background with his daily bible reading, etc.).
|by Anonymous||reply 210||05/01/2020|
Ben was a youth minister before the show took off and his dad was a preacher .
|by Anonymous||reply 211||05/01/2020|
I wonder about the cookware and other kitchen items from Rachel Ray and the Pioneer Billionaire Woman.
|by Anonymous||reply 212||05/01/2020|
What do you wonder?
|by Anonymous||reply 213||05/01/2020|
How they are doing, in terms of sales. I used to see the Drummond stuff all over Walmart but, now, not so much.
Rachel, apparently, has taken over the dog food market.
|by Anonymous||reply 214||05/01/2020|
OP, I also love Home Town. Only found it recently and have already seen every episode. What I like to see, from my costly perch in CA, is the low price of those charming old homes and the great job they do restoring and furnishing them. The style of the places they do is comfy and inviting. I'm enjoying the whole fantasy of the quaint small town. I also like the couple, they don't get on my nerves like other design hosts do. They seem natural and quirky. The wife's clothes are perfect for her. Not quite uber frau but they fit her style. But, it is Mississippi after all and I could never live there. I do know a very liberal woman who resides in one of those towns and she's doing her best to buck the tide.
|by Anonymous||reply 215||05/01/2020|
Good Bones with Mina and her mom Karen
I love them too R210. Their rapport with each other is great and they really know how to play for the camera. Plus they take old shit houses and make them really nice.
|by Anonymous||reply 216||05/01/2020|
I want Mina's brother Tad in me quite deeply.
|by Anonymous||reply 217||05/01/2020|
Tad is adorable and he seems like a great guy. In one episode, he learns how to operate this giant backhoe to dig out the yard of Karen's project. He has a blast, jumps out when he's done, and says "My heart is happy!" :)
|by Anonymous||reply 218||05/01/2020|
He's thick in all the right places.
|by Anonymous||reply 219||05/01/2020|
Can you stop diverting the thread about Ben with these other basic HGTV hoes?
|by Anonymous||reply 220||05/01/2020|
Tad is adorable,but I saw some recent pics where his hair is VERY thin on top .
|by Anonymous||reply 221||05/01/2020|
R229 Ben is hot but honey, there's only so much to say
|by Anonymous||reply 222||05/01/2020|
I just saw the Good Bones episode where Mina's home was built and furnished. My god that place is butt ugly. She kept saying it was her forever home but the neighborhood looked dumpy.
WTF? Fake lawn, fake flowers, butt ugly.
|by Anonymous||reply 223||05/01/2020|
The flowers are real. The house is fake.
|by Anonymous||reply 224||05/02/2020|
Yeah, considering all the nice houses they did I didn't like her own house.
She wanted a New Orleans style house but had to build up and....it didn't really turn out well at all.
|by Anonymous||reply 225||05/02/2020|
I don't like the front door at the side look. It's a giant box.
|by Anonymous||reply 226||05/02/2020|
I love Mina but she's high of she thinks that house has anything in common with a New Orleans house.
|by Anonymous||reply 227||05/02/2020|
Mina's husband is hot
|by Anonymous||reply 228||05/05/2020|
Are we out of new Home Town episodes?
|by Anonymous||reply 229||05/05/2020|
R229 HGTV put that Stinking Celebrity Snatches show on in that spot until the end of May. The remaining Home Town episodes will be on starting the last week of May.
|by Anonymous||reply 230||05/05/2020|
Did anybody see the Bubly dude hour? Who was he helping?
|by Anonymous||reply 231||05/05/2020|
|by Anonymous||reply 232||05/05/2020|
It was very good. His grand dad's caregiver was who he helped. His grand dad's dying wish was that the family give her his home. She cared for him the last 8 years of his life & became family.
His grand dad's home was a bit dated but in pristine condition. He had white carpet that looked like it had just been installed that day. The Brothers even commented on it.
|by Anonymous||reply 233||05/05/2020|
|by Anonymous||reply 234||05/05/2020|
Buble seems like a nice guy. The bros were corny, as usual.
|by Anonymous||reply 235||05/05/2020|
bargain mansions... what's the deal with her pretending that she does a redo of the ground floor, show it off, and then take on the upper levels? i guess the workers tramp thru the beautiful downstairs with its staging all in place? how do they get all that construction destruction down and outside? makes no sense at all.
|by Anonymous||reply 236||05/05/2020|
R236 good question.
I can't remember but was her show only half an hour before? It seems like she'd always split the houses up into two phases, but I remember older ones being different shows.
I thought this latest shirtwaist one was terrible. The outside was ugly and remained ugly, and I didn't like the weird kitchen/pantry thing she did.
|by Anonymous||reply 237||05/06/2020|
I adore her work but last night's reno just didn't work for me at all. I was surprised how much I hated it.
|by Anonymous||reply 238||05/06/2020|
R238 same, I usually like her work but that house was just......no.
|by Anonymous||reply 239||05/06/2020|
next week's hometown is listed on my watch list as NEW but also listed as season1/episode1 (2016) how the hell is that a new episode?
|by Anonymous||reply 240||05/06/2020|
I thought about that too R236. I think they actually do the whole thing and divide the film in to two parts. It makes no sense to furnish the ground floor then do construction upstairs. It's a plot line flaw.
I like Bargain Mansions but it's not one of my favorites. And her vocal fry, the girl needs voice lessons.
|by Anonymous||reply 241||05/06/2020|
Also, she picks the most unconvincing people to "reveal" the house to when it's done. They're always Oat Milk Latte Beckys who also have bad vocal fry.
|by Anonymous||reply 242||05/06/2020|
But still, her dad could get it.
|by Anonymous||reply 243||05/06/2020|
Ben is adorable, but if he lost enough weight to have cum gutters he would be killer hot!
I've lived in Mississippi. One advantage is that you don't have the division between the self-righteous Bernie people and the regular Democrats. Everyone in MS who is not a Trumpy knows and respects each other as allies and doesn't sweat the small stuff.
|by Anonymous||reply 244||05/08/2020|
How's the cruising?
|by Anonymous||reply 245||05/09/2020|
Cruising is probably non-existent these days. There used to be a couple of restrooms on the interstate that were busy, then they started to post state troopers there, and now I think they are closed. Ole Miss had some supposed tea rooms in the library and another building but I never saw anything going on there. The Natchez Trace had some restroom cruising but they made a bunch of arrests and that stopped. I don't think there are any adult bookstores in the whole state. I would assume there is some action via Grindr, etc., but really have no idea.
|by Anonymous||reply 246||05/09/2020|
I have only started watching Home Town since being a shut in. Erin reminds me of someone and it has been nagging at me. Watching a 30 Rock rerun today...It suddenly came to me!
|by Anonymous||reply 247||05/16/2020|
Could you imagine stopping in Mississippi and seeing Big Ben and his big dangler hangin' out at a rest stop???
|by Anonymous||reply 248||05/16/2020|
Dang it, I missed the sale on Pantry items on the Laurel Mercantile website!
|by Anonymous||reply 249||05/16/2020|
DL's hated Jeremy Renner was on last night's Celebrity 1OU. They redid his Mom's house.
Damn it but he gives off such negative creepy energy. Sleazy.
That was the last Celebrity IOU and next week Ben & Erin are back.
|by Anonymous||reply 250||05/19/2020|
Does anybody know if the furniture and decorative items that Erin places belong to the new homeowners?
Or are they like the fraudster hypocrites from Waco?
The brothers buy stuff for the family owners and I wonder about the cuties in Laurel.
|by Anonymous||reply 251||05/19/2020|
R251, Erin said she uses lots of the owners own stuff. The furniture that Ben makes and the stuff she makes are gifts. Some of the other stuff is kind of a welcome basket from laurel local vendors and some is purchase optional but it's mostly the owners things.
|by Anonymous||reply 252||05/19/2020|
A lot of the furniture and decor are staged items. After filming, the homeowners are given an inventory list with prices and have the option of buying what they want to keep.
But yes, more or less may be the owners' stuff and what the the show makes for them are gifts.
|by Anonymous||reply 253||05/19/2020|
Thanks, R252 and R253.
|by Anonymous||reply 254||05/19/2020|
I watched a Good Bones episode on Sunday that I had never seen before. Karen & Mina renovated Mina's father's home with his second wife.
His second wife looked to be about 5-8 years older than Mina. Mina was so nervous about pleasing him as he was very picky. They did a very good job.
|by Anonymous||reply 255||05/20/2020|
^^^So daddy issues?
|by Anonymous||reply 256||05/20/2020|
Not really Daddy issues. Her father HATES change, as evidenced by the collection of clutter and crap in the home. He's not a hoarder, but does he really need 17 pieces of furniture in one room, for example? He has strong opinions about what he DOESN'T like, but can't explain what he DOES like. Changing someone's home when they've had it a certain way for years and year and is resistant to change is challenging.
|by Anonymous||reply 257||05/20/2020|
So dad's a pain in the ass then?
|by Anonymous||reply 258||05/20/2020|
I wish Tad would be a pain in my ass.
The kind of pain that turns into pleasure.
|by Anonymous||reply 259||05/20/2020|
The dad has the WORST dye job I've ever seen.
|by Anonymous||reply 260||05/21/2020|
R260 You haven't noticed Trump then.
|by Anonymous||reply 261||05/22/2020|
I saw a Home Town repeat that just blew me away.
A 70-something year old black lady had a total budget of $85,000 to spend. They found her a shack for $35,000 and they renovated it from top t bottom for $50,000. It was just beautiful. It boggles my mind that you can get a home much less a tricked out house for that price.
I don't think I've ever seen a more excited homeowner on HGTV. They did an amazing job.
|by Anonymous||reply 262||05/22/2020|
Yeah, R262, that was a beautiful episode. She loved her raised garden!!
The son was attractive. ☺️

That was the restaurant owner R262. Love that little house. One of the homes they did came up on the market awhile back. A beautiful little cottage with a porch for two transplanted doctors. The had to relocate again.

I agree that episode was touching and I truly believe the remodeling was done well and with love. If you have noticed, they have subsequently met for lunch and filmed in her cafe. True home town people.

I watched My Lottery Dream Home last night. David was quarantined at home but he contacted 2 past winners to see how they're doing in their homes.
OMG! He looked so fabulous in the past episodes. Not a single tattoo and not so ghastly thin.
|by Anonymous||reply 267||05/23/2020|
Agree, R267. David looks like a circus freak now, with those crazy tattoos on the front of his neck and the Phyllis Diller costumes he wears. He was much more attractive in his earlier days.
|by Anonymous||reply 268||05/23/2020|
I know David is kind of a hot mess, but I have to admit, I love watching him flaunt his big gay MARY ass in these little provincial towns with no apologies and making everyone around him deal with it.
I don't think he's had any gay men on the show yet? Maybe we just don't do lotteries. However the other day I saw an episode with a cute little latino thug looking guy, who looked like Mamma's dream version of caged meat, however he was single and sooooo friendly with David. At the end of the episode when they have the "Family and Friends" over to celebrate their new home, he was accompanied by a very good looking black gentleman and a battalion of cane wielding old lesbians. This is in the middle of nowhere Massachusetts, too.
|by Anonymous||reply 269||05/23/2020|
There are a lot of winners from Massachusetts, Florida as well.
He looked like a hot mess on his show last night but he is still adorable. I hate all the tats.
His condo is tiny! I thought the network paid better than that 😛.
I also loved his Easter tree, I wonder who the shirtless guy was that was helping him decorate. They didn’t show his face.
Anyway, they’re doing another show next week.

The best part of last night's episode was revealing that David hooked up with the cousin of the first woman. They even showed a pic of the cousin with David. The cousin was a hottie.
The second lady was one of my favorites. She was the feisty senior citizen from Cambridge who hit the lotto. I'm so glad they revisited her because she was such a trip.
David's condo was tricked out for Easter.. He said he goes really all out decorating for the holidays. He showed photos of how he decorates for Xmas, Halloween, etc. Last year he had 40 something trees in his place. The most shocking thing to me was his bed. The rest of the condo's decor was that glam vibe but his bed was a very plain black iron bed. It was dressed beautifully but the bed didn't mesh IMO.
David's appearance may have totally changed but he really has a very engaging and sweet demeanor.

Forgot to mention his Halloween costumes! They were amazing and he looked fantastic!
Of course, he has his professional make-up artist bestie, so that helps.
|by Anonymous||reply 272||05/23/2020|
This is not a thread about David Bromstad, folks. Start your own damn fan thread.
|by Anonymous||reply 273||05/23/2020|
Yeah, enough about that walking Etch a Sketch Miss Bromstad.

Anyone know the season/episode for the gay couple featured on Home Town? ...I've looked.
|by Anonymous||reply 275||05/23/2020|
R275 The gay couple were this season - so S4 Episode 8.
|by Anonymous||reply 276||05/23/2020|
Speaking of seasons / episodes, I seem to remember when the Scott Bros first did their new Forever Home show there was a gay couple in one of them, does anyone remember which episode?
I usually dislike their shows but would watch for a gay couple.
|by Anonymous||reply 277||05/23/2020|
I had a dream last night that Brett Waterman from Restored was walking around in just his hat, boots, and a jockstrap....and that slightly crooked smile of his.
|by Anonymous||reply 278||05/24/2020|
I wonder how many support crew, designers, construction, etc, who are there to bring it all together for filming.
|by Anonymous||reply 279||05/24/2020|
I saw the episode with Chad and his pink socks again today. He's adorable.
|by Anonymous||reply 280||05/24/2020|
|by Anonymous||reply 281||05/24/2020|
Enough about Chad. Let's get back to David Bromstad.
|by Anonymous||reply 282||05/25/2020|
I think that's his name R281.
|by Anonymous||reply 283||05/25/2020|
Sorry, are we talking about the handsome dandy on Home Town? Or is there a Chad on another show?
|by Anonymous||reply 284||05/25/2020|
Yes R284 Home Town pink socked Chad.
|by Anonymous||reply 285||05/25/2020|
When Ben speaks I think of sweaty uncut coal miners with more smegma than fat on a hog.
|by Anonymous||reply 286||05/25/2020|
I must be confused. I though "Chad" was this guy and his name is Shuff.
|by Anonymous||reply 287||05/25/2020|
New 90 minute episode tonight. Didn't like the loft they did, though.
|by Anonymous||reply 288||05/25/2020|
r287, I think they're old frat brothers, he kissed Ben on the cheek.
|by Anonymous||reply 289||05/25/2020|
Shuff is a little guy, but it looks like he has a nice package in certain shots.
|by Anonymous||reply 290||05/25/2020|
Shuff is a hot fuck for sure.
|by Anonymous||reply 291||05/25/2020|
Interesting before and after info about Shuff's renovation
|by Anonymous||reply 292||05/25/2020|
Shuff Mauldin seems like a nice guy based on his Facebook posts.
|by Anonymous||reply 293||05/25/2020|
Now we just need to find his Grindr
|by Anonymous||reply 294||05/25/2020|
R287 up thread R64 posted a pic of the guy i was referring to. His name is Jay, so my bad.
|by Anonymous||reply 295||Last Tuesday at 5:48 AM|
R295 Yes he is Jay, aka J Pickens R142
|by Anonymous||reply 296||Last Tuesday at 8:17 AM|
^^^Damn I missed R142's post.
|by Anonymous||reply 297||Last Tuesday at 8:34 AM|
Ah, okay. Yes J Pickens is cute too.
|by Anonymous||reply 298||Last Tuesday at 9:54 AM|
The loft was okay. I hate wallpaper. I thought airstream refurb was more interesting and loved that.
|by Anonymous||reply 299||Last Tuesday at 2:23 PM|
I sort of liked the whole mineral look of the wallpaper but didn't like it in that space. It matched the cabinets (also ugly) too much.
I usually like Ben & Erin's stuff but last night was a bit meh.
|by Anonymous||reply 300||Last Tuesday at 2:38 PM|
That boy in R295 is gayer than an Ungaro spring frock .
|by Anonymous||reply 301||Last Tuesday at 5:02 PM|
You will never find a gay couple on Fixer Upper or their new network
|by Anonymous||reply 302||Last Tuesday at 5:09 PM|
R301 I don't see J Pickens as gay or straight, just incredibly hot.
|by Anonymous||reply 303||Last Tuesday at 5:12 PM|
Anyone watch last night's Bargain Mansions?
How in the world can she do such massive renos with such a small budget?
The first phase was $75000 and it entailed the ground floor and all the outside. The outside included building a carriage house with a 2 car garage and a substanial driveway as well as the usual thins. Then the ground floor had to have all new floors, a custom kitchen, rebuilding a fireplace, adding a laundry room, etc...
How can you do all that & have gorgeous fishes for $75000??
She also had a $75000 budget for phase 2 which was reno-ing the second & third floors.

Pardon my typos. I haven't had coffee yet.
|by Anonymous||reply 305||Last Wednesday at 5:07 AM|
Yeah, her numbers are total bullshit. Total.
|by Anonymous||reply 306||Last Wednesday at 7:08 AM|
Well, it’s Missouri, isn’t it?
It’s not as expensive as fixing a house in California or New York.
The labor alone will save thousands.
|by Anonymous||reply 307||Last Wednesday at 6:17 PM|
Speaking of flipping, did y’all see Tarek now owns a cabinet company? He will ship all over the country, supposedly.
Dude is moving pretty fast.
I’m glad for his success.
|by Anonymous||reply 308||Last Wednesday at 6:19 PM|
I can't watch Bargain Mansions. Her vocal fry is horrible and I don't like her interior decor choices.
|by Anonymous||reply 309||Last Wednesday at 8:29 PM|
I am crazy about Love it or List it.
|by Anonymous||reply 310||Last Wednesday at 8:56 PM|
