you can’t help yourself to napkins, straws, ketchup, BBQ sauce etc

the cashier is a mixed race Person of Trans (nothing wrong with that)

a lot of the black male customers have their hoods on (I write a pass, it’s 48 degrees out)

many of the hooded black male customers have rolling suitcases, I guess that means they’re undomiciled

the white people here seem to be drunk and have bother places to go, I guess they’re refueling

there is a steady stream of hooded men who want to use the restroom but it’s out of order. They shuffle in, try the handle (first), read the sign, and mutter “shiiiiiit” as they shuffle away.

Yeah OP is an idiot and clueless - either doesn’t know where the West Village is or has never been to NYC. Where do these trolls come from? Really desperate for attention - and ignorant and uninformed.

Fast food in large cities is outrageously priced. Part of it is the wages. They need to automate more the ordering, paying and cooking and just have walk-up with no dining area to save the cost of cleaning.
