He’s from Minnesota—great folks up there! Seems sweet on my fav “my lottery dream home” he gives suggestions so he’s an interior designer I think.

OMG I remember that HGTV show where he'd redo rooms and then have a big painting he did placed prominently in the new room. Yes, I think he's sexy. Yes, I think he's too full of himself. Yes, I think he is a very "90's gay" personality (from Will and Grace era of gayness) - the type with the weird, affected speaking voice/obsession with pop divas/designer labels/etc..

He still has his hair and his face looks good. Now how much would it cost to get those tats removed?

He won Design Star on hgtv years ago. He had his own design show for a while. He is the only winner to get a career on hgtv out of it. He looked better without all the tats.

Awful hideous tattoos, which are even worse on someone who people trust has good taste. He's starting to look like road kill, but seems like a swell guy. I enjoy his show, but constantly bewildered by the tragic tattoos.

I went out with him a few times in the early 2000s. He was pretty good in bed, versatile, but very into the "scene" and being seen by as many industry gays as possible. I am not a social climber and we didn't mesh for that reason. I am surprised he is still relevant. The lottery show is a good fit for him.

He’s cute enough, I just don’t trust homos with full sleeve tattoos. Bob Harper is another one that I would have considered cute, if not for the sleeve and hand tattoos. It seems insincere and fake on a gay man. Like they’re trying too hard.

He's very very nice. Ran into him in Florida recently and he was kind enough to take a picture and chat for a minute. He did this with a few people that recognized him. He's very genuine

I met him in 2010 at a home show. He was flaming, adorable and very friendly. I'm now horrified by the tats. Mickey Mouse for Christ's sake. Ugh.

I can take him in limited doses. But HGTV had "Unspouse My House" with a host so flaming that the sets HAD to have burned down around her. She was unbearable to watch.

I just watched one of David Bromstad's videos. He's got the GAY DRAWL and GAY LIPS.

He always seems to be "on" even in a scene where he's simply walking from one spot to another and not speaking. His arm swing and posture are very animated every freakin' second. I like his personality in general, but sometimes he comes across as too superficial. Everything is "super cute". BTW, the extreme tats are a turn-off.

I am fine with him acting gay, and tattoos aren’t my thing but I don’t care that much one way or the other. The two things about him that have bothered me since he was an HGTV Design Star contestant and his narcissism and his show-offiness.

I remember that he always randomly took off his shirt during design challenges. I know gays and gals love to see shirtless men. I thought it was fucking tacky and desperate. But it won him the season and a TV show, I guess.

The other thing is his “artistry,” which is basic-as-hell paintings of flamingos, flowers or just acrylic paint dripped onto a canvas. He called himself an artist and HGTV presented him as one. His art never looked better than a first-time wine-and-paint frau’s palm-trees-on-a-beach canvas. Very weird. He is better suited to just showing houses and asking them what they want to buy. It must kill him that he can’t be a half-naked realtor though.
