This a great show! How did we miss this?
Its Spanish and dubbed, though you can’t tell from the lips. You can only tell because the audio is crisper than normal. But the show is exciting.

And they cast nice sexy Spaniards for most of the parts, yum!

The women are hot, the men less so.

can you watch it in the original language with English translate subtitles? I HATE dubbing. I want to hear the intonation of the original actors.

R3, just give it a try and see.
The article in the OP describes how carefully they dubbed it. Even lip movement looks correct. I was surprised at how well done it was. Try it, you’ll like it!

I was able to watch it in original Spanish with English subtitles on Canadian Netflix. You just need to make it the default in your settings.

Money Heist, Cable Girls and Locked Up are very entertaining Spanish series you should watch.

"Money Heist" is such an uninspired English translation of the title, almost like the name of a Steven Seagal movie. I like the original title "La Casa de Papel" much better.

Money Heist is like calling a show “Restaurant Visit to Eat Food”

Why did the mother of the Inspector call the Professor? I can’t figure that out.

She has Alzheimer's and dialled a number in her contact list in order to relay the message to Raquel.

I meant, in Raquel's contact list^^

Oh, ok, that makes sense. Thanks.

It's a very interesting morality drama, among other things. It started out as a show where one was led to sympathize with the misfit group of robbers. The most recent season (S2 on US Netflix, S3 in Spain), however, started taking very different turn as it was winding down. The most sympathetic characters had already been killed (Moscow) or left with uncertain fate (Nairobi), and you can just tell that the tables will be turned in the new season and that the popular sentiment will start turning against the gang. I have to say: I love the character of Alicia Sierra, the pregnant hardass agent who is now in charge of the police response - in retrospect, Raquel was such a wimpy, conflicted mess.

Bootsy, I don’t understand that?

I have to read your comment later, r13. Still watching.

I watch all international shows with the original language and use subs. Usually the dub actors are really bad and their performance makes me cringe. Glad Netflix is making more of an effort though for those who prefer dubs.
I hope they left Denver's original laugh though. Iconic.

**** Spoiler ***
I don’t agree, R13. I don’t think it’s a morality play at all, The bad guys got away! Did you mean something else?
I loved it, especially the relationships that we learned about in the last two or three episodes.

I love Pedro Alonso, Álvaro Morte and the sexy Argentinian - Rodrigo de la Serna.

I have to say that I find the actor who plays Tamayo very hot in the DILF sort of way.
And, OMG, I LOVE the character Alicia Sierra! That's one tough, ass-kicking bitch with the balls of steel.

One Netflix show with horrible english voice over is Nobody's looking, a very good brazilian show, they did only one season, it's a shame, it's very funny.
