It wasn't from a lack of being the Hollywood It Girl for quite awhile!
Why did Heather Graham's career go straight down the shitter?
by Anonymous | reply 63 | September 2, 2020 7:36 AM |
Minimal talent.

Vintage gossip. “ Graham, Heather. "Will sleep with anyone if it will advance her career." Coke user. About two cans short of a sixpack. Linked to Adam Ant, Drew Barrymore, Ed Burns, Russell Crowe, Benicio del Toro, Heath Ledger, Tobey Maguire, and James Woods.“
by Anonymous | reply 2 | February 26, 2020 9:26 AM |
That photo cracks me up!
by Anonymous | reply 3 | February 26, 2020 9:33 AM |
R2 Huh. I thought Tobey Maguire was gay and Drew Barrymore was mostly straight.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | February 26, 2020 9:41 AM |
She was fantastic as the precocious, perky young love interest Mercedes in LICENSE TO DRIVE with the Two Coreys, Carol Kane, James Avery & Richard Masur.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | February 26, 2020 9:44 AM |
I don’t understand why we are picking on her. What is OP’s motivation in this?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | February 26, 2020 10:27 AM |
To most people, there was "Boogie Nights" and nothing else. And she had too much competition from Wahlberg, Reynolds, Seymour Hoffman, Cheadle, Moore etc.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 26, 2020 10:28 AM |
I thought she had semi-retired but I just looked her up on imdb and she works all the time. So she's doing fine (she sends her love.)
She was very funny in Bowfinger.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 26, 2020 10:34 AM |
Her acting was thin - and that's being generous.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | February 26, 2020 10:41 AM |
Jayma Mays stole her mojo.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | February 26, 2020 11:38 AM |

Thanks! I watch the carbs and do Pilates every day! Tee hee!
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 26, 2020 11:46 AM |
I was surprised to see her as Corinne in the series of [italic]Flowers in the Attic[/italic] Lifetime movies. I thought she was great, though, in that over-the-top role.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 26, 2020 11:47 AM |
She just can't act. I remember that time she appeared in Sex and the City, and it was so cringe-inducing.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 26, 2020 11:52 AM |
She had a brief run on Scrubs where she was pretty fun, but she ended up cutting that short to go be on Emily's Reasons Why Not, a show canceled as its first episode was airing.
Oops.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 26, 2020 11:54 AM |
She’s fun because she’s bad and we’re all in on the joke. If you get it, then you get her. Mischa Barton could have had the same if she’d only gotten over herself.
I love Heather, she seems like a blast.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 26, 2020 12:39 PM |
Mischa Barton is mentally ill.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 26, 2020 1:52 PM |
I get her confused with Denise Richards
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 26, 2020 2:04 PM |
Her sister Lauren stole her career.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 26, 2020 4:02 PM |
Every time I think of her I just think of her playing the bimbo in License to Drive. That’s it. She never really had much range other than playing a slut.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 26, 2020 4:14 PM |
Haha, R13, I remember that episode of Sex and the City and thinking, ‘She’s playing HERSELF. Why this so awful?’
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 26, 2020 4:25 PM |
She's 50. Sadly, any woman over 40 in Hollywood is going to have a tough time getting cast. Besides, she's been in over 100 films and TV shows Far more than a lot of other actors.
She's 50. Sadly, any woman over 40 in Hollywood is going to have a tough time getting cast.
Really??
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 26, 2020 5:49 PM |
R 23 Oh behave, Meryl.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 26, 2020 6:09 PM |
She's so awful in that Flowers in the Attic remake. You'd have thought they plucked her off the street and gave her all her dialogue 5 minutes before shooting.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 26, 2020 6:36 PM |
She's not very bright, the poor dear. And, any actress who dates James Woods faces a career curse I've noticed.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 26, 2020 6:51 PM |
She was a beautiful blonde, but that's pretty much it. Those age out by mid 30's. Pamela Anderson hasn't done shit in almost 2 decades.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 26, 2020 7:01 PM |
She was a pretty big deal around the time of Boogie Nights and Austin Powers, and then she slowly faded away.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 26, 2020 7:03 PM |
That film she made with Joseph Fiennes, KILLING ME SOFTLY, was wretched beyond words.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 26, 2020 7:13 PM |
r2, don't forget Bono. There was a picture of the two of them exiting some hot club, and she touted tantric sex. Loved her in Boogie Nights, but that's about it.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 26, 2020 7:15 PM |
I always confused her with Marley Shelton. WEHT Marley Shelton by the way?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 26, 2020 7:23 PM |
She was a pretty big deal around the time of Boogie Nights and Austin Powers, and then she slowly faded away.
That was over 20 years ago...
If she had been smart, she would have married a rich man when she was younger and the roles started drying up. She would have been set.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 26, 2020 7:25 PM |
It's been repeated more than once that she works all the time. Are some of you determined for a "sad last days" narrative?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | February 26, 2020 7:25 PM |
Blake Lively and Jessica Bill both realized their limitations and stepped away. Did Heather even consider yachting?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | February 26, 2020 7:29 PM |
It's been repeated more than once that she works all the time.
But are they roles that pay that much? I doubt it since whatever she’s in I never see or hear anything about it.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | February 26, 2020 7:34 PM |
she was great in "Six Degrees of Separation"
by Anonymous | reply 36 | February 26, 2020 7:36 PM |
She's a terrible actress, that's why. Another terrible role was Annie, Norma Jennings' sister in Twin Peaks. Talk about STAH-INK! Maybe she sucked off David Lynch to get the part.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | February 26, 2020 7:40 PM |

I have never seen a Lori Loughlin movie but I doubt she's earned peanuts throughout the years.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | February 26, 2020 7:41 PM |
I loved her (and Johnny) in FROM HELL. She looked good with the red hair.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | February 26, 2020 7:41 PM |
Talentless Twat.
I have never seen a Lori Loughlin movie but I doubt she's earned peanuts throughout the years.
First off, Lori married a rich man so any acting she has done is basically a hobby. Second, she’s worked steadily in TV doing Hallmark shit and that Full House reboot...although those days are now over.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | February 26, 2020 7:44 PM |
R41 Lori will star in the Springfield Women's Correctional Facility's adaptation of Little Women.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | February 26, 2020 7:47 PM |
Loved her in DRUGSTORE COWBOY as Nadine. "Two farm boys and a hooker".
by Anonymous | reply 43 | February 26, 2020 7:48 PM |
I’m with R6, R15, R36. I loved her in those listed (BN, 6DoS, Drugstore).
And she has a long list of credits. So, she is certainly not lazy.
She seems like a sweet person, steers away from the tabloids, etc. Takes life as it goes.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | February 26, 2020 7:50 PM |
And like Lori, Heather Graham has worked steadily in TV shit. I didn't even know there was a TV version of "Get Shorty" but she's done three episodes of that. She's done seven episodes of something called "Law & Order: True Crime." There's a five episode stint of "Angie Tribeca" and six episodes of "Bliss" on her IMDB page. I guess she's a 21st century Carol Lynley.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | February 26, 2020 7:59 PM |
I preferred her to Uma Thurman (yuck) -- also her same age.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | February 26, 2020 8:07 PM |
She was good in 6 degrees.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | February 26, 2020 8:21 PM |
R45 Law & Order: True Crime was a miniseries NBC did based on the Menendez murders, that they released under the Law & Order banner. It's pretty good, except it focused too much on the lawyers and not the murders. Graham is great in it.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | February 26, 2020 8:29 PM |
A lot of people don't remember her in Swingers. Probably because she had red hair.
She should have been in the Charlie's Angels reboot: MILF edition with Megan Fox and Rihanna.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | February 26, 2020 8:40 PM |
R37, she may have sucked someone off for the part but I doubt it was Lynch. By the time she came on the show he was no longer involved in the writing or production and he’s pretty open about hating all the storylines they came up with for the show in his absence. He only worked with her for the season two finale where her character was killed off. She made a brief appearance in Fire Walk With Me but wasn’t asked back for The Return series.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | February 26, 2020 9:23 PM |
As someone who loved the Austin Powers series growing up, it always frustrated the hell out of me that they never even mentioned Felicity in the third film.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | February 26, 2020 9:29 PM |
Heather's probably financially set unless she's been really stupid with her money. She's been a working actress since she was a teen, and she enjoyed A-list or near A-list status for a while in the late 90s, so she must have gotten some nice paychecks.
Heather's problem is that Hollywood has no use for fifty-year-old bombshells of minimal talent. Her appeal was all in her blonde hair, big eyes, and big tits. That type always reaches a last fuckable day, and once they're not fuckable anymore, nobody really cares.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | February 26, 2020 9:57 PM |
Can't blame Heather for getting that Adam Ant, Steve Martin dick.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | February 26, 2020 10:05 PM |
I thought she was adorable in “The Hangover”. And she looks good for her age.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | February 26, 2020 10:14 PM |
I get her confused with Claire Danes
by Anonymous | reply 56 | February 26, 2020 10:30 PM |
Jayma Mays stole her mojo.
Ooh, I think you're on to something. Although on the other hand, I don't think Mays has ever been on the brink of being a big star. Whereas Graham had a moment after Boogie Nights.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | February 27, 2020 12:01 PM |
She did age great. Hard to believe that she was pushing 40 in The Hangover.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | February 28, 2020 2:15 PM |
I remember there was a poster here some five or several years ago on a ‘celebrities with natural beauty’ thread, and they shared that they were stunned by how gorgeous Graham is in-person. The poster said they weren’t straight or even a fan of Heather, but that the glow & smoothness of her skin and how shiny and alive her hair & eyes look at her age is insane enough to stop people in their tracks. She must have hit the genetic jackpot, and/or have amazing cosmetic work & care.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | February 28, 2020 9:59 PM |
My favorite story about her is that after LICENSE TO DRIVE wrapped she turned down a date with Corey Haim (he had “mono” at the time..), and then turned right around and dumped Corey Feldman after just one night out with him (to some teen awards show in the late ‘80s). Icon.
"Will sleep with anyone if it will advance her career."
That means she didn't have to act in [italic]Bowfinger[/italic] since that's pretty much all her character did while not on the set.

Is she still dating Yaniv Raz?
