Pro-crime, pro-rapist Republicans can kiss the Senate goodbye in 2020

Look at these odds — nearly every vulnerable Senator is Republican and their constituents are sick of their shit as accomplices to #CrookedDonald.

The problem is, draining the swamp is not enough. We need to Lock 'Em Up!

If Sanders is the nominee, all the Repubs will be re-elected

by Anonymousreply 1February 22, 2020 9:03 PM

R1 is correct. NC always looks so close, but except for 2008, Republicans end up winning because people are voting culture.

by Anonymousreply 2February 22, 2020 9:08 PM

Tillis will be re-elected.

by Anonymousreply 3February 22, 2020 9:08 PM

One thing is sure: Trumpers and Republicans are gonna turnout to zealously vote. The Question is will Democrats get their lazy, whiny, rebellious asses out to vote

by Anonymousreply 4February 22, 2020 9:10 PM

Yes, if they nominate a principled progressive like Barack Obama or Bernie Sanders who didn't sell out to Republicans or harm America.

by Anonymousreply 5February 22, 2020 9:13 PM

SO true R4. Sadly.. Every Rethug in my family wouldn't miss voting if their life depended on it. Every Millennial who is either Dem or Independent in my family has yet to vote once.

by Anonymousreply 6February 22, 2020 9:14 PM

R5, how old are you? Barack Obama was not a principled progressive. He was pragmatic and just a few notches left of center. He was attacked here from 2008 for not being a progressive. Of course, you are perpetuating this falsehood to make Sanders look like a reasonable choice.

by Anonymousreply 7February 22, 2020 9:18 PM

Obama was a Wall Street liberal. And that’s a good thing to me. Bernie is a radical Socialist, not even a Democrat

by Anonymousreply 8February 22, 2020 9:38 PM

These people think they are above the law and answer to no one.

Excuse me but they do not own this country or it’s people and have no right to act like it’s there way or the highway.

That’s what makes me so sick about republicans. They are so entitled and think they own the place. What about the rest of the people? They need to read the constitution.

by Anonymousreply 9February 22, 2020 9:40 PM

who said they were pro-rapist?

by Anonymousreply 10February 22, 2020 9:44 PM

R1 No, if former Republican, Bloomberg, is the nominee, all the Repubs will be re-elected.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 11February 22, 2020 9:48 PM

Bloomberg was a Democrat until 2001, a Republican until 2007, them an Independent. Bernie was a Democrat only when running for President. Bloomberg is so far from the current Republican platform, it’s laughable. We are you, R11.

by Anonymousreply 12February 22, 2020 9:52 PM

Have you ever heard a Bern victim talk about any House or Senate candidates? Do you ever hear them talk about Governors' races? State Legislatures? Mayoral races? City Councils? No, you don't. You only hear them talk about Bernie. Bernie is Dear Leader, nothing else and no one else matters. Bernie will do it all by himself. Democrats will be in the hole for a generation if we are stupid enough to give the nomination to fucking Bernie.

But you know what. I am almost at the point where I just don't give a fuck anymore. I'm single and never plan to ever get married, so if the court overturns marriage equality no big deal to me. I'm not a young woman and I don't plan to fuck one, so who cares if abortion rights are overturned. I'm not trans, so nobody side eyes where I go to the bathroom and my pronouns are old school and boring. If a wall gets built... oh well... somebody will cut my grass. I am black, but I"m middle-aged and don't wear hoodies and have no problems with white people, so I'm fine there too.

I have a great job with great healthcare and a great pension plan, that I'm not planning to quit or get fired from, so I can get sick, I can get preventative maintenance and I'll be fine. And right now I pay a lot in taxes for services that I don't need or use, but while I'm fine paying my share for the common good, if Republicans take over and cut my taxes, oh well more for me. Boo for those whose services will be cut.

So you Bernie freaks go ahead and continue planning your revolution. I feel sorry for you, but some lessons must be learned the hard way.

by Anonymousreply 13February 22, 2020 10:12 PM

Amen bro! 👏🏽

by Anonymousreply 14February 22, 2020 10:15 PM

Republicans voted for and confirmed the rapist Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court and the rapist Donald Trump to the White House.

That's pro-rapist, and that's what Republicans chose to show themselves.

by Anonymousreply 15February 23, 2020 2:22 AM

Some people living in their Conservative Bubble don't realize (again) how sick and tired America has grown of Republicans.

by Anonymousreply 16February 24, 2020 2:15 PM

Bloomberg is a billionaire racist and sexist. He’s trying to buy the presidency. If you’re okay with that than you’re a moron.

by Anonymousreply 17February 24, 2020 3:42 PM

Guess whose Senate career is going straight down the shitter?

by Anonymousreply 18February 24, 2020 5:33 PM

With Sanders at the top of the Democratic ticket, Republicans will hold the Senate and win seats in the House.

by Anonymousreply 19February 24, 2020 6:09 PM

NICE LIE, BORIS!

by Anonymousreply 20February 24, 2020 8:50 PM

The polls tell a much different story than r19.

by Anonymousreply 21February 24, 2020 8:51 PM

Don't let the pro trolls heavy on DL today for Super Tuesday fool you, folks.

Read the pools and the agendas.

by Anonymousreply 22February 25, 2020 3:19 PM

The Concern Troll needs a reminder that Republicans have never been headed for anything other than a TOTAL WIPEOUT in 2020.

Polling has never indicated Republicans could keep the Senate after this year. The pandemic and Trump's Deplorable crimes and behaviors are only increasing Senate seats for Democrats. Now the Dems could take Alaska, Mississippi, Kansas and South Carolina, too!

Roll Call is always right!

by Anonymousreply 24October 13, 2020 9:51 PM

Gary Peters in Michigan could be in trouble. He’s never reached 50% in the polls, and a couple of the most recent polls have him up only either 3 or 1%.

by Anonymousreply 25October 14, 2020 12:58 AM

But it's only because the Republican John James is black.

Black leaders and Democrats will convince enough people in Michigan not to be racist because there's too much at stake in the Senate to spoil everything by voting for James.

by Anonymousreply 26October 14, 2020 3:47 AM

They'll come around on Nov. 3.

With the latest polls showing momentum and breakaway leads for the Democrats in Georgia, it looks like the chickens are coming home to roost.

The corruption of Perdue and Loeffler is unbelievable and Trumpian.

So happy r4 got an answer to his "question."

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 30January 2, 2021 5:10 PM

How are the Republicans not pro-rapist with their blind and unconditional support for Donald Trump, Brett Kavanaugh and Clarence Thomas, r10?

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 31January 2, 2021 5:12 PM

Well. Ted Cruz just joined in on questioning the validity of the electoral vote count to happen Jan. 6. He needs to lose next time he's up for re-election. Beto should have another chance at him.

Whatever Trump promised Vlad on their secret phone calls was not delivered. Thus, the red wave- minus Trump.

Trump should travel with a Food Taster now...

Time is running out for Moscow Mitch.

Here's the fourth, consecutive poll showing Ossoff and Warnock in Georgia both breaking away leads that are sizeable for a tossup state.

Polls mean nothing. Did we not learn anything from the election?

by Anonymousreply 35January 2, 2021 7:52 PM

We learned that polls were correct Because Biden won and Susan Collins' win was within the accurate margin of error.

Trump means nothing now. Did r35 not learn to stop lying to himself, denying his faults and burying his head in the sand?

by Anonymousreply 36January 2, 2021 7:56 PM

Perdue and Loeffler are in DEEP SHIT if even partisan, Republican poll-riggers like the Trafalgar Group are predicting wins for both Ossoff and Warnock.

Oh, me, oh my! AtlasIntel brings us the FIFTH CONSECUTIVE POLL showing leads for both Democrats and running gains!

Where are David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler?!?! Why have the Republicans completely disappeared from the polls in the final week before voting ends? Could it be that Georgia is sick of lying, crooked Republicans who insider-trade while telling their constituents they have nothing to worry about and their Do-Nothing, Care-Nothing Party for Greedy Fucks blocks pandemic relief in the Senate?

How do you explain why support for Loeffler and Perdue has evaporated from even conservative-weighted polls by Trafalgar and Gravis?

WARNOCK: 51%

LOEFFLER: 47%

OSSOFF: 51%

PERDUE: 47%

12/25—1/1 AtlasIntel

Georgia went to Biden in November, for Christ's sake! The Republicans were supposed to fix this. What are you doing wrong, Boris?

Boris is trying very hard to bump this news off the front page.

by Anonymousreply 39January 3, 2021 7:35 PM

This is why trump lost I a landslide.

by Anonymousreply 40January 3, 2021 8:06 PM

There are 34 Senate seats up for election in 2022, 22 are presently held by Republicans and 12 by Democrats. If Democrats can pick a few really good candidates they should be able to pick up a couple of seats at least and gain or retain control of the Senate.

by Anonymousreply 41January 3, 2021 9:14 PM

That means the most potential to gain. But mid-term elections work in favor of the President’s opposition, except in times of national crisis.

Recession and COVID-19 might buck the trend for normal years.

by Anonymousreply 42January 3, 2021 9:33 PM

r36 Susan Collins won by 8 points after multiple polls showed her down by more than the margin of error. I am still having trouble processing it especially because in other states, the Trump voters made a huge difference in senate races and in her case, they didn't like her.

by Anonymousreply 43January 4, 2021 2:30 AM

OOPS! Looks like Perdue and Loeffler's corruption wasn't enough to save Moscow Mitch's gridlock power.
