I'm being charged for DL but I didn't resubscribe.

How do I contact customer service?

by Anonymousreply 30February 19, 2020 12:22 AM

Customer service? BWAhahahaha!

by Anonymousreply 1February 18, 2020 10:02 PM

I'm being charged and I still see ads and can't cancel (the page where you'd cancelled is just the normal "subscribe now" page).

by Anonymousreply 2February 18, 2020 10:03 PM

Call your bank and dispute the charge. No one will respond to you via DL.

by Anonymousreply 3February 18, 2020 10:05 PM

Thanks r3.

by Anonymousreply 4February 18, 2020 10:12 PM

Click the Help icon. I've asked questions before that way, and every single time the question has been answered within 24 hours.

by Anonymousreply 5February 18, 2020 10:16 PM

Mean, r5.

by Anonymousreply 6February 18, 2020 10:22 PM

Why is that mean? It works.

by Anonymousreply 7February 18, 2020 10:23 PM

There's no help link, r7.

by Anonymousreply 8February 18, 2020 10:24 PM

In the upper right next to the bell there is a little "i." In Chrome next to it is the word Help. What browser/device are you using?

by Anonymousreply 9February 18, 2020 10:25 PM

Ah sorry r9. I'm on a mobile browser. Will get on my laptop. Thanks and my apologies.

by Anonymousreply 10February 18, 2020 10:27 PM

This is why I use a gift card for subscriptions. They expire.

by Anonymousreply 11February 18, 2020 10:28 PM

No problem. I checked by mobile browser just now and you're right-- there is no way to contact help via the mobile site. Good luck, they have always been very responsive to my questions about my account and whatnot.

by Anonymousreply 12February 18, 2020 10:28 PM

Call your credit card provider, and tell them that the DL charges are fraudulent, as the gay Datalounge site isn't delivering on its promise of bitchiness. (Even though the nude photos and porn clips were pretty good....)

by Anonymousreply 13February 18, 2020 10:33 PM

R12, there doesn't seem to be a way to contact anyone through the Help menu anymore. I'll trying emailing the webmaster.

by Anonymousreply 14February 18, 2020 10:40 PM

You're fucked OP.

by Anonymousreply 15February 18, 2020 10:54 PM

"Thank you for calling DLs customer service, my name is Steve. How may I help you, cunt?"

by Anonymousreply 16February 18, 2020 10:58 PM

Good god.

Hit "Account"

Hit "Subscription Status"

Click: "Click Here to cancel your subscription at end of current period."

You most likely did not complete the cancellation. Do it again.

by Anonymousreply 17February 18, 2020 11:04 PM

"Thank you for calling the DLs customer service. All our operators are busy sucking cock right now. Please leave your name and phone number and we'll contact you as soon as possible. "

by Anonymousreply 18February 18, 2020 11:05 PM

You can cancel anytime you like, but you can never leave OP.

by Anonymousreply 19February 18, 2020 11:06 PM

R17, that's the thing: I don't have that option -- it's just the "The buck starts here"/subscribe now page. There's no subscription recognized in relation to my account. I emailed the webmaster. It's so weird.

by Anonymousreply 20February 18, 2020 11:07 PM

The direct customer service number is 1-800-EAT-SHIT

by Anonymousreply 21February 18, 2020 11:10 PM

Are you LOGGED IN?

Your account page would show when the last time your subscription renewed, etc.

You're not logged in.

by Anonymousreply 22February 18, 2020 11:12 PM

I'm logged in. I'm sure there'll be an explanation from customer service.

by Anonymousreply 23February 18, 2020 11:25 PM

R23 You are naive in the extreme.

by Anonymousreply 24February 18, 2020 11:26 PM

“Customer service” doesn’t give a shit about you. Once they have your banking information they will continue to charge you annually. I had to change my debit card account number in order to quit being charged.

by Anonymousreply 25February 18, 2020 11:42 PM

There is no escape OP.

by Anonymousreply 26February 18, 2020 11:55 PM

I actually had a similar issue a few months ago. Contacted the webmaster and everything was rectified within minutes of sending the first email. So they are pretty good in my experience.
