Do you think she would have made it with her original trunk ?
That pic shows the importance of good makeup -- and tweezing.

Nope. Also had a small implant in her chin the rumor is.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | February 17, 2020 6:26 PM |
She would have had a different kind of career--she would have still been a star (as she was before the surgery, as a child), but she would not have been celebrated as the most beautiful woman in the world.
But she already did have certain genetic advantages: the unusually intense blue eyes that made people swear they were violet, and the mutation of distichiasis (which meant she had double eyelashes).

No nose job- chin implant in middle age and some of the usual. She didn't over due it surgery wise- just food wise from time to time. She was perhaps the most naturally and natively beautiful women ever in film. She is ravishing in her early films and alternately ravishing later depending on the extra pounds.

Breast augmentation--like Monroe. (using saline solution injections)
by Anonymous | reply 5 | February 17, 2020 6:39 PM |
She was gross. Amy Schumeresque. Good choice.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | February 17, 2020 7:20 PM |
Of course she had a nose job. It's visible from the moon
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 17, 2020 9:06 PM |
Her eyes do not look violet here.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 17, 2020 9:18 PM |
That violet eyes bullshit not opening her eyes for ten days as a baby. Give me a fucking break.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | February 17, 2020 9:22 PM |
The violet eyes = publicity. I never saw one single film or pic where her eyes were naturally violet. They were blue, period. Perhaps a lavender shade, like Vivien Leigh. She was short, fat, vulgar, and had gone under the knife more often than Joan Rivers. The most beautiful woman in the world my ass.

R10 and none of that really matters because, when called upon she could act.
even Shakespeare.
but she probably never would have gotten a look in without being groomed (literally) for it since a child.

R10 reminds me of that deliciously nasty takedown of Lucy hat Burton wrote in his diaries.
Mee-cunting-OWW!
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 17, 2020 10:11 PM |
What's funny to me on the R10 YouTube clip is that the second comment is from 7 years ago, telling "MrsPatrickCampbell" to go fuck herself.

R11 she could do Shakespeare on film, but I doubt that she could ever do it on stage. She was a great screen presence and finally became a very interesting film actress. I like her best in the late sixties. She was very good in ' secret ceremony.'

Ever see her in person R10? She was ravishing.. Her eyes were cobalt blue- she loved to wear violet, which sometimes shaded her eyes in pics. When asked about her vulgar display of her jewelry she relied “would you have me any other way?” I think she was a step ahead of you R10. Her friends and family adored her- she was spoiled, bawdy, down to earth, and incredibly generous. She blew the door open for celebrity activism for AIDS and left literally hundreds of millions to AIDS charities in her will. She was a great broad and when she cared- one of the most beautiful women in the world. She also left a pretty stellar record of her work as an actress on screen.

She did Noel Coward on Broadway, which was more her speed.

Who?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 17, 2020 10:24 PM |
I liked it when she wore her hair like Pedro Almodovar.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 17, 2020 10:43 PM |
She worked for AIDS because her fucking son's wife got it. Would she have done so if that didn't happen? R18 Photoshop.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 18, 2020 2:09 AM |
*BREAKING NEWS* - most women don’t give a fuck about their son’s wife!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 18, 2020 2:18 AM |
She really didn’t have great bone structure at all — seriously mine is better than hers (and mine’s far from amazing lol). It was really all about the coloring.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 18, 2020 2:20 AM |
Lmao at R22 - go lay down, pal
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 18, 2020 2:31 AM |
ELEPHANT WALK...she was absolutely gorgeous in that picture.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 18, 2020 2:50 AM |
R24 the tan really became her I see why she became so obsessed with maintaining one.

She's like 13 years old in OP pic! No nose job and no chin implant.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | August 18, 2020 1:14 AM |
From 1960 on she always looks fat.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 18, 2020 1:28 AM |
She just has *it*.
Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox come close with coloring and cosmetic surgery, but they just don't have what she does. You can't buy it.

[quote] No nose job-
charlie, we know you love to play know-it-all, but we can obviously see for ourselves. She indeed had a nose job.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | August 18, 2020 2:15 AM |
She never had a nose job...she died with the one she was born with.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 18, 2020 2:27 AM |
She was grotesquely hairy, if she was filming she often had to have her legs and armpits shaved twice daily.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 18, 2020 2:30 AM |
^ Hahahaha - you're silly!
