Ernestine was Lily's best character. Mrs. Beasley was second.
The character I could have done without was Edith Ann.

I liked Edith Ann and Ernestine -- Mrs. Beasley not so much. I saw Lily's show years ago in Chicago. She didn't do any of her characters but was still hilarious just standing on stage talking.

Lucille the Rubber Freak, now a socially acceptable alcoholic. We listened to Modern Scream until the vinyl wore away. We were in junior high, best friends and obliviously gay. Good times.
