That snobby know-it-all, Betty Ramsey. What a Datalounger she would have made!

Carolyn Appleby was a frau.

Betty Ramsey, because she was played by Mary Jane Croft. I love her voice plus she got to play friends to both Lucy and Harriet Nelson, that is some goals!

Carolyn Appleby was basically a frenemy whose loyalty could easily be bought with a cashmere sweater.

Betty Ramsey seemed like a true friend who continued being Lucy's friend after discovering the Ricardo's couldn't afford all that new furniture. And, she had no qualms about being friends with Ethel, who lived in the guest house.

I'm more of a Marian Strong gal myself.

One day I realized my mom and aunt's friends weren't really friends; they put each other down, boasted about their kids' accomplishments, comparing them to their friends' children (little Stevie!)

I said to my aunt and mom once: all those Carolyn Applebies are not your friends!

Betty Ramsey was kind of a bitch when she was Cynthia Harcourt however.

But Carolyn was definitely bitchier.

Betty Ramsey, because her husband Ralph manages a TV station, and that could lead to my big break.

I think little Bruce Ramsey was light in the loafers, if you get my drift.

Bruce wanted to find out if Little Ricky was little all over

I did like Carolyn's Hollywood episodes…

Betty had exquisite taste, Carolyn did not.
