We are going to a gay wedding tonight. They are early 30s and ripped. We are mid 40s and .... doughy.
My partner will get bombed, embarrass me, we will fight on the dance floor, I will drive us home in anger, he will pass out in the shape of a giant X in the middle of bed forcing me to sleep in the other room, and will wake up tomorrow demanding hugs and coffee and claiming “I don’t remember anything from last night.”
And then we’ll get groceries.

44.6f and guess what? Cloudy and rainy here in Seattle. My fave weather. I'm reupping in a couple of hours. Won't be much to remember. But I have one issue that's beginning to recur: a fondness for Mike and Ike candy. It has to stop. It can lead to worse things. Sugar is the root of all evil.
