Not sure about gay, but he's "on blast" right now because of statements he just made.

When Crews alleged that he was sexually assaulted by a man (and was getting roasted by other men, incl. 50 Cent), Gabrielle Union and other women supported Crews.

Crews and Gabrielle Union worked together at America's Got Talent. Union no longer works there and publicly made civil rights-type complaints.

Crews was asked point-blank about Union's AGT complaint(s). He said he never felt discriminated against, blah blah blah, didn't acknowledge that Union may have had a different experience than he had. After the backlash, he doubled down and said the only woman he needs to please is his wife (not his mother, not his sister, not his daughter -- their husbands can stick up for them).

Gabrielle Union has a history of being hard to work with, so I think Terry is right. She fell out with BET as well.
