This inaccuracy really bothers me. How could they be so careless?
Starbucks in LA is selling souvenir cups depicting a dinosaur 🦕 stuck in a tar pit

Would you prefer Jesus riding it?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | February 1, 2020 6:19 PM |
I'm offended!
by Anonymous | reply 2 | February 1, 2020 6:20 PM |
Maybe it’s a Flintstones reference?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | February 1, 2020 6:23 PM |
To think people used to have to worry about Polio, conscription into major wars, economic collapse, Typhoid fever, etc etc etc -- it's good to know there's still always something to get in a twist about.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | February 1, 2020 6:26 PM |
It's OK, OP. Just cradle it in away that your hands hide it.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | February 1, 2020 6:32 PM |
a way*
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 1, 2020 6:32 PM |
I'm sure more people in LA will now be offended by the helicopter considering...
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 1, 2020 6:44 PM |
That’s a pretty sweet mug! I’m gonna go buy one!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | February 1, 2020 6:51 PM |
Oh god, I didn’t even see the helicopter crashing into the mountain at first, that was quick to get commemorative mugs out in less than a week.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | February 1, 2020 6:51 PM |
What's in the Starbuck mug dino's mouth? It looks like an uncit cock and scrotum?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 1, 2020 7:02 PM |
What is the inaccuracy, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 1, 2020 7:21 PM |
Dinosaurs didn’t get trapped in the Los Angeles tar pits. They were already extinct many millions of years. Prehistoric mammals like mastodons, giant sloths and saber toothed tigers got trapped in the tar pits.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 1, 2020 7:30 PM |
I expect my Starbucks paraphenalia to be historically accurate AND free of all references to dinosaurs. FUCK YOU STARBUCKS.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 1, 2020 7:37 PM |
How dare they not include the dinosaurs preferred pronouns!
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 1, 2020 7:43 PM |
How do you know it's a tar pit, OP. It could just be a dinosaur farting up methane in a swamp.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 1, 2020 8:01 PM |
Anyone who plasters animal cruelty on mugs to make a buck can fucking die. Accurate or not, that animal appears to be choking on it's own tongue while struggling to free itself. Fuck you Starbucks.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 1, 2020 11:20 PM |
R17, I thought it was eating leaves, like the illustration in R16.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 1, 2020 11:33 PM |
It is depicted in a struggling-type motion. That is not a leaf. It appears as though it has bitten it's tongue and that is why the shape is jagged. This is morbid.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 1, 2020 11:41 PM |
Excuse me, are these mugs guaranteed to trigger my coworkers?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 1, 2020 11:47 PM |
If I don’t buy the mug can I still use the bathroom?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 2, 2020 12:05 AM |
I don't know, r21. Can you do a decent impression of an animal dying its last breath?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 2, 2020 12:32 AM |
It’s not in a struggling type motion, and that IS a leaf, not its tongue. It’s clearly a stegosaurus, and they only ate leaves.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 2, 2020 12:32 AM |
That’s a sauropod 🦕 not a stegosaurus you freaking dumbass.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 2, 2020 12:33 AM |
It's not a stegosaurus. WTF are you smoking?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 2, 2020 12:34 AM |
R23 = ANOTHER Starbucks illustrator
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 2, 2020 12:36 AM |
Isn’t the freeway with no cars on it more deceptive?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 2, 2020 12:40 AM |
Choke on a leaf you motherfucking maggot illustrator.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 2, 2020 12:40 AM |
This is appalling.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 2, 2020 12:42 AM |
r11 is projecting.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 2, 2020 2:11 AM |
Tu puta madre.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 2, 2020 3:24 AM |
