I don’t get the anti Meghan Markle posts then. Wouldn’t MM be a sistah who made good, thus worthy of their praise?
Aren’t most Lipstick Alley readers black women?

Yes, Liptsick Alley is a black gossip site.
They don't consider MM to be a sistah because she only behaves like one when it can get her something. They see her for what she is - in their lingo, "that heifer" - calves look white when they're born even if they don't mature into white cows.
She's never dated anything but white, married white twice, has a baby no one would ever guess had any black DNA, most of her best friends are white, and she's been straightening her hair since she grew up.
They know the type: women who are light enough to latch onto white privilege but who claim sistahhood when it's convenient.
"I don't call her black, because she don't hang with us" as one poster put it.
In short, they're on to her.

If you're white OP, do you like all white people? Heather Mills is white and got rightfully called a golddigger by many white people. Same difference.

I visit there occasionally, and there's a lot of great gossip, and some really good discussions. But I've never registered to post there. Sometimes I really need a different point of view away from DL.

As a biracial woman, I knew, put it about her black sorority, "I'm a sistah when things are good but the moment we argue, I'm a white bitch."

OP, There are both pro and anti MM threads on LSA. Originally those who dissed MM were constantly criticized. As time went on the 2 groups shifted in number of posts and power.
Word got out that MM did not list her race as Black when applying for work. She lived in a White sorority and rarely dated Black men unless they were super wealthy and powerful. Many on LSA felt she used her partial Black heritage when it was convenient and advantageous to her. In other words she appears FAKE.
By comparison previously there were/are absolutely GORGEOUS Black African women married to White European royalty. All were old-school model types or old-school Miss America types. I'm saying super stylish, elegant, tasteful, modest at all times, graceful, well-spoken, reserved, and frequently appeared in public in their native African costumes or something similar to them. Because they were not born Royal themselves but obviously from a privileged and educated family, all took a backseat to the actual full-blood spouse.

Wow r5, you really know your LSA.

I was wondering why there's only two celebrity gossip forums on the internet?(Lipstick alley and Datalounge)or at least only two that i'm aware of.You'd think there'd be loads as let's face it gossip is something that never gets old

I have had an account on there for several years. Those ladies are a fountain of gossip and remembering all sorts of details from the past.
Some of their posts literally make me LOL. The insults and shade are on point.
The MM Unpopular Opinions thread is a wealth of knowledge about that woman. There is plenty of receipts in there about her background and ways.
The only real crazy in there is the damn Beyhive stans and the MJ stans.

Colorism

Some posters are just not fans of biracial people period. I can't count how many times posters get in a tizzy over how black someone is 🙄

Most of the Women that post on the unpopular thread were outed as being in digital blackface. Skippy, Nutty The A Royal Houseplant chick all posted and some still post on there. They brought in all their batshit followers. The font who started the thread is allegedly Asian and has a group of women who team up with her to troll people. More and more actual Black fonts are cottoning on to it and starting to complain both on and offsite. They pretend to be black so they can claim they aren't racist. There is pages and pages of their backroom private chat that someone screenshot and shared with other fonts on site. They are racist as fuck. It is a powder keg that is about to go off any day now and it won't be pretty

It didn't start out that way r11. That unpopular thread was amazingly witty and fun before the soccer mom invasion. It doesn't even read the same, you can tell.

R11 - I take it you're the same poster who on another thread has assured us all that the posters on the Unpopular Opinions About MM threads are actually paid Russian bots and/or Stormfront types and that the powder keg is about to blow open as investigative journalism goes in . . .
To expose, er, people who don't like Meghan Markle as being racist bigots instead of black women who actually have the gall not to like Meghan Markle.
Because, really, that's the major Internet issue facing us all: the invasion by racist bigots of . . . Lipstick Alley.
Tell the "respected investigative journalist" that his/her time would be much better spent looking into the facial recognition technology London's Met is about to roll out, which is notoriously poor at distinguishing people of colour from one another - we're about to head into "Minority Report" territory.
Nobody outside of a few gossip sites gives a fuck what a few disgruntled types are saying about Meghan Markle.
Grow up.

I’m a biracial lesbian with green eyes. Straight black women have always hated me. If I had white friends, I was ‘trying to be white’. I got a job and bought a car in high school and I got criticized for thinking I’m better than them. It was easier once I came out in college.
