Robert Richard: Actor and a Kobe MARY!

No fucking clue who this guy is, but he deserves DL Icon status for this thirsty attention-whoring, suckling at the teat of death post.

He looks like he can’t breathe.

He played Paris Hilton’s boyfriend in House of Wax. I loved that the producers cast a black man to be her racist asses BF

I can't imagine being that upset about the death of someone I have never met and don't really know personally.

Sure, I think some deaths are tragedies and some situations like 9/11 where thousands died is shocking. Even someone like President Kennedy would have been dramatic.

But, I guess I must be dead inside because deaths like this, Diana, George Michael, and countless other celebrities would never send me into the type of emotional whirlwind that it seems to do a lot of other folks.

R4 some of these people idolized him. That is why they are taking it this hard. He wasn’t just a celeb, he was someone they looked up to since very young. I grew up watching him.

by Anonymousreply 5January 26, 2020 10:57 PM

There are two gay white queens in St. Louis who are overreacting to Kobe’s death on twitter as we speak.

by Anonymousreply 6January 26, 2020 10:58 PM

The issue here is not crying but turning the camera to yourself crying to show the world how upset you are. It’s just a vapid move but increasingly common in today’s social media society.

by Anonymousreply 7January 26, 2020 10:59 PM

The shit outside the Staples Center in LA is jaw dropping. Use that emotion to help yourself and your fucking family. You were stupid to idolize someone you never met or who knew you ever lived.

I'm going to stick with "I can't imagine being that upset about the death of someone I have never met and don't really know personally."

That’s probably an old photo from when his cat died.

by Anonymousreply 11January 26, 2020 11:15 PM

Why on earth would anyone take a picture of themselves while they are crying or grieving? She’s a fucking drama queen.

by Anonymousreply 12January 26, 2020 11:24 PM

Omg Billy Porter is gonna be extra about this at the Grammys

[QUOTE] Why on earth would anyone take a picture of themselves while they are crying or grieving?

Look at the amount of likes on all his other Instagram posts, and then compare them to the amount he received on OP’s.

by Anonymousreply 14January 26, 2020 11:27 PM

Doubtful, R13, given what Kobe called that ref years ago.

by Anonymousreply 15January 27, 2020 12:31 AM

Wasn't he in some Nickelodeon show in the 90s?

by Anonymousreply 16January 27, 2020 12:40 AM

I hate people who take photos or videos of themselves crying in reaction to a celebrity's death and post it to social media. It's desperate and despicable.

by Anonymousreply 17January 27, 2020 12:48 AM

Oh wow, a self-important, narcissistic Capricorn, I am so shocked

by Anonymousreply 18January 27, 2020 12:51 AM

Looks like a young Cuba Gooding

Yep, Cousin Skeeter.

by Anonymousreply 20January 27, 2020 12:56 AM

What's with the apostrophe in his last name -- Ri'chard?

by Anonymousreply 21January 27, 2020 12:58 AM

R21 I believe it's because his last name is pronounced Ri-shard.

Look on YouTube. Even old people are doing it. Makes you appreciate the days of swallowing all your emotions.

by Anonymousreply 23January 27, 2020 1:16 AM

Didn't his nudes leak?

He's actually had quite a long career but I haven't heard about him in a long time. I always thought he was cute. I remember he was on Once and Again.

But this is... just pathetic. It actually is a bit disrespectful. Making it about yourself and your grief and to get more social media hits.

I hate social media.
