Tamara is OUT. The network didn't even truly want her as a friend- they offered her 3 episodes to say goodbye. She said no thanks.

I like this new direction. But shocked they kept Shannon. She was pretty forgettable last season and brought nothing to the reunion IMO.

And they deserved to be fired after that bogus lawsuit against Kelly.

Shannon is by far my least favorite. Loved her in earlier seasons, but she truly ended ups being SHRILL and not all that compelling.

TV is dying. Most shows are losing viewers. It's amazing that these Housewives shows have lasted so long and still retain a solid base despite all the complaining I hear lol

The first few seasons were good. They certainly didn't feature the manufactured explosive drama of every later season on this and every other franchise. But the relationships back then pre-dated the show and they actually lived relatively close together and the interactions then were more natural, even real. The collapse of the housing market in 2007-8 played out on the show honestly. I remember in the first season Jeana bragging about buying 3 different houses in OC for her bratty children as investments for their future. By season three, she admits she's lost them all and was barely holding onto the family compound. She was now doing less glamorous work like short-sales.

I remember Lauri (when she lived in that shitty townhouse with her fat older daughter) and Tammy actually even working in Vicki's home office for her. It was much more down-to-earth back then.

And Shane Keough was so hot...

I think of all the reality people on Bravo, the VPR people were smart.

Nene Leakes is still a question mark—Wendy Williams blabbed that Nene told her she wanted out, but supposedly Bravo doesn't want her to quit because she brings the ratings.

But they gave her a paycut this season, and a diminished role, just like Vicki.

She's knows that this is the best gig she's ever going to get. And the pay is good.

Who cares if she's just a "friend?" As long as the money is coming in, then it doesn't matter.

The problem with Vicki (and probably Tamra) is that their egos won't let them accept a smaller role. Vicki truly does believe that she is OWED full-time status and a million dollar salary.

She has been spoiled by Bravo for so long, that she doesn't really understand how the entertainment industry works. Especially if you aren't bringing in the ratings.

Bravo heard her loud and clear that she would never accept a friend role.

All the drama with Kelly is fake, they are friends behind the scenes and the release of text messages is a strategic ploy by the producers to create drama so that viewers will get invested in the drama. Everyone is in on it. It's all timed perfectly.

Right now they are leaking a fake lesbian plot with the return of Brandi to the BH franchise. It's all plotted and planned out. So phony.

Vicki should weasel her way back on the show by saying Brooks's cancer is back and she is in love with him!

They fired her because not one of her family members will agree to appear on the show, including her boyfriend, because they're over being "reality show famous".

That's when I knew how desperate Vicki or (or someone) allegedly was.

The one other positive about her is that she doesn't seem religious, so there's no holier-than-though posturing like some of the other hypocritical dingbats that were on this franchise in the past (including Vicki). I don't see Braunwyn as the "frau" favorite. Someone like Emily would more easily fit that mold (the long-suffering wife with a weight problem and a husband that treats her like shit).

Tamra being fired is hilarious because she (and Shannon) was clearly trying to get Kelly and especially Emily kicked off the show.

Andy Cohen is hoping Tamra Judge‘s surprising exit from The Real Housewives of Orange County over the weekend won’t be her final goodbye.

On Monday’s episode of his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live, the Bravo host and Real Housewives executive producer said that he’s optimistic Judge, 52, will return to the long-running reality series one day.

“I’m hoping, and this is not lip service, that she will come back in some form, either this season or in the next couple,” said Cohen, 51. “Because I just feel like she is someone that I am always interested in, I always want to check in with her on.”

“She has been an incredible Housewife, she really has,” he continued. “She’s been dramatic, she’s vulnerable… she has been great.”

Tamra announced she was leaving RHOC after 12 seasons on Saturday.

“It’s been a wild ride, and after all these years, I’m looking forward to life away from the cameras,” she told PEOPLE exclusively. “I was offered a chance to come back to the show in a limited role, but would prefer to walk away on my own terms.”

The reality star has been on RHOC since its third season in 2007 and is responsible for some of its most talked-about moments, including a memorable wine-toss.

That longevity on the series was part of the reason Tamra was asked to return in the first place for RHOC‘s new season. A source told PEOPLE she was specifically “asked back for three episodes, so producers could close out her storyline.”

Cohen confirmed that on his radio show. “We had offered her three episodes to come back and kind of wrap out her story. … That is true,” he said. “She didn’t want to do that.”

“Look, she’s been on the show for 12 years. We wanted to give her a send-off,” Cohen said.

In 2013, Tamra married husband Eddie Judge at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California. Their wedding was filmed for a three-episode spinoff series, Tamra’s OC Wedding, that aired later that year.

So how is her husband taking the news? “Eddie and the kids are very excited,” she told PEOPLE of the fitness trainer and her four children: sons Ryan Vieth, 34, and Spencer Barney 19, and daughter Sydney Barney, 21, and Sophia Barney, 14.

“I want to thank all the fans who have offered me their support over the years,” she said. “It’s meant a lot.”

Also on Saturday, the Vena Wellness and CUT Fitness owner posted about her departure on Instagram.

Vicki Gunvalson, the “OG of the OC,” said on Friday that she is leaving the show. The Coto Insurance saleswoman has been with RHOC since it began in 2006 but was demoted last season to a Friend of the Housewives role.

Asked about the changes on Monday, Cohen said, “We’ve been wanting to shake it up a little bit for a few years.”

“It was a big weekend in the Housewives world,” he joked. “It was very dramatic.”

Previously, Cohen said on his SiriusXM show that there was possibility of new blood on the original Housewives franchise.

“The casting for next season is some of the best casting we’ve had,” Cohen said in December, adding that he “[has] not been this excited about casting” in a long time.

Bravo has not confirmed casting for season 15 just yet. Last season, Judge, Shannon Beador, Kelly Dodd, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson and newcomer Braunwyn Windham-Burke were all full-time Housewives.

“I’m not missing a beat,” Gunvalson says. “I’m in a good place. My future, as long as everything keeps going the way it is, is looking really bright. I’m super excited about what’s to come.”

Both of her new projects are about showing a more authentic side of herself to the world than was depicted during her final few seasons on RHOC, she says.

“The show really got off course from what we were supposed to be doing,” explains Gunvalson, who was an original Housewife when the series began in 2006 and stayed on the show for 14 seasons. “In the beginning, it was about showing your real lives; your family, your friendships, your work. It was about really opening up and letting the world in. But it stopped being that and it started being about fighting. And they never showed my real life anymore. It just became fake. Why do you want to go on an internationally famous show and be mean? What we’re supposed to be doing is really helping each other! It’s a tough world out there!”

“I want to show my real life,” Gunvalson adds. “My real life is incredible, exhausting and exciting. I’m helping people every day in my business [Coto Insurance]. I’m a loving mother and grandma. I have this great relationship with [fiancé Steve Lodge]. That’s the reality of my life, not that fake stuff.”

She went on to slam some of her former RHOC costars for fabricating parts of their lives for the camera, though didn’t name names.

“I don’t create a storylines, like so many of these women do,” Gunvalson says. “I read somewhere that someone said ‘My storyline was over.’ Hold on. Last time I checked, this is a reality show. There is no storylines. Some of the other girls create fake storylines. I never have, I never will. Maybe one day I’ll come back to the show, but only when the show wants to create real TV. In the meantime, we’ll see if any of these women last 14 years. I’m good with my tenure."

Fans who tune into Whoop It Up with Vicki can expect Gunvalson to be just as candid and unfiltered on her podcast as she is here to PEOPLE. She plans on educating listeners about building a financial freedom, something she’s passionate about in her work life.

“The Real Housewives of Orange County never entered in to what I do for a living, which is financial planning, retirement planning and insurance,” Gunvalson says. “I do seminars all across the country speaking out about these topics. And every day, someone sends me a message asking me questions — so many, that I can’t answer them all. So I thought, ‘What a better way to reach more people than to launch a podcast?’ It’ll allow me to magnify that conversation in a really powerful way.”

Gunvalson’s show will also also see her giving updates on her family life, including wedding planning with Lodge. The couple have been together for four years and got engaged last April.

“Steve wants to get married, like, tomorrow,” Gunvalson says. “He’s like, ‘Let’s just go and do it.’ And I keep being like, ‘I’m a little busy this week!’ He’d be find going to the courthouse. But I’m like, ‘I’m not going to the courthouse and getting married! We have all the kids and grandkids and I want everyone there!’ So it’s a real yin and yang.”

As for Gunvalson’s new series with Judge, while she insists she has to stay mum about show and network details for now, she did tease that the program would leave viewers inspired.

“It’s going to be an incredible show,” Gunvalson says. “Tamra and I, we’re good together. We have great chemistry and we’re having fun. We’ve got a really special journey happening. It’s something that will really inspire people. I can’t say much more, but I know it’s going to be a show people love.”

“My love tank is very filled,” she continues. “And it’s not filled because I have a man, or filled because I have a podcast, or filled because I have a reality show, or filled because I have a loving family: it’s filled because I’m happy. I’m super, super blessed and happy. I’ve been able to create my happy. I’ve dictated what I want it to be. And when I look back at my life in the next 20 years, I’ll be proud of myself for doing just that.”
