R6 , yes this is true. It is JG’s last ditch effort to save his job. Rumor has it that Chuck Pratt may also be returning to Co-HW. As mentioned in the other thread a story bible was written around end of 2015/early 2016 and involved Katherine’s return it was CP’s story. CBS nixed it. With nobody overseeing the soaps at CBS, now Sony is moving ahead with the story. They want the show back at around 5 million viewers per week.

The truth is that the money the show would spend on Eileen to come in for a photo shoot or other appearance is being spent on the nuKay storyline. The show requires a continuous supply of crushed ice for Esther to store Kay in the Chancellor basement. It is a shame that the ice costs so much, but using a deep freezer would have saved money to use on Eileen.

Things are not looking good BTS. The actors are in factions about accepting Scoche as NuKay. Surprisingly KL and JW have made fast friends with her. MTS is leading the charge against her.

It would be too bad if she doesn’t work out and they have to scrap the actress. She has shot scenes that will appear in over a week’s worth of episodes and her opening theme shots. This is all on top of the new set and the props that the show has spent tens of thousands on in the budget.
