Ryan Murphy always seemed sort of asexual to me as well. I think Peters, Criss, and Wittrock are all wonderful actors in spite of their looks, so I'm less likely to believe they had to give it up. Kenworthy and Overstreet however....maybe.

Had posted in another thread that I have family and friends who had worked in Hollywood for decades and can say I've heard about John Wayne, then Marion Morrison, and John Ford. Gary Cooper supposedly has nude "physique" photographs done and passed around to get a break into acting before his father got word and threatened to go after anyone if they surfaced. Burt Lancaster was no stranger to posing nude either - just search online - and was known to use the casting couch to his advantage. James Dean was another who would fool around with anyone within the studio system if he thought it could lead to roles. In short, the casting couch is nothing new, having been used since the silent era, and used by both producers/directors and the actors, male and female.

What was so hot about Gary Cooper? Good actor, but he was basically a stick figure with a large penis.

One story that I recall is that once Willson was speeding around LA in his convertible when a cop stopped him and recognized him and wrote him a slew of tickets.
