Oh my god, I see this all the time living in South Florida. Old white people with the most disgusting legs as if they've been tortured.

One of the best "remedies" for varicose veins is exercise to improve circulation.
[quote]Regular exercise encourages better blood circulation in the legs, which helps to push along the blood that has collected in the veins. Exercise also helps to lower a person's blood pressure, which is another contributing factor to varicose veins.
Also, put the fork down, fatty. Overweight people comorbid with high blood pressure, another cause of varicose veins, is another factor.

Sometimes it's genetic (along with aging).

Duluth Trading has a lot of different types of compression socks. The copper ones are supposed to be good, they have those, also they have different weights and styles. I haven’t bought socks there before, but I have bought other things and so far everything is high quality and has served me well. I’m thinking about trying their compression socks out myself, because locally there’s nothing of high quality.
I wear compression socks for driving, and it’s helped a lot. They are a pain in the ass to put on, but they help you deal with long days and lots of sitting or standing.
They have them for ladies also, and they’re on sale right now.

I should have mentioned, they also have sizes, including XL.

Injection sclerotherapy - A doctor injects saline or some other solution into your varicose vein. The walls of the vein become inflamed. In smaller veins, they might collapse immediately and the vein "disappears" before your eyes.
I've had this done, though not at the clinic linked below. With dilated capillaries a/k/a spider veins, one small injection is enough to collapse them. Small blue veins might disappear with one injection. The bigger blue veins, the ones that bulge, take more treatments.
Your body will create new veins to replace the old veins. You'll want to improve your diet. I recommend vitamin K and calcium, but I'm not a medical professional.

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
