Glamourpuss Barbara Carrera
Jet setting model, successful and respected actress, lover of handsome men. Here with one of her German husbands, model Uva Harden. Seems to be forgotten nowadays.
(According to wiki: "Between marriages, Carrera dated Robert De Niro, Robert Evans, Alexander Godunov, Philip Niarchos, Richard Gere and Ryan O'Neal." That's a lot of prime dick!)

I just saw her in the first episode of RuPaul's new sitcom, "AJ and the Queen."

Really? Wow, I read she had retired in the early 2000s. She's in her 70s. How does she look?

I always got a very lipstick lesbian sense from her.

Barbara Carrera was one of the most beautiful women I'd ever seen. I thought, "finally!" when she was cast as the "Bond Girl" opposite Sean Connery in "Never Say Never Again", although I felt she was a little past her prime.
This pic was supposedly taken in 2018. She still looks damn good, although it's obvious she's had some work done. But not too bad; as plastic surgery goes, at least she's not Faye.

She looks great. She plays the sister of the hunk who rips Ru off. They're con artist team.
She's only in a couple of small scenes, but apparently they will both be back throughout the first season.

Does not look like a 75 year old person. Kudos to RuPaul for coaxing her out. She doesn't have an IMDB credit for this, and her last one was 2004.

Flying over Monte Carlo in Disney's Condorman, 1981.
She ran with an impossibly chic and decadent fast crowd for decades but must have avoided the hard drugs herself.
Her shipping heir ex husband Nicholas Mark Mavroleon was very debonair but what a messy family. His brother - ooo la la what a life. Andrew Garfield is supposed to be doing a bio pic about him, called Black Lion. Crazy Crazy.

Barbara Carrera (born Barbara Kingsbury; December 31, 1945), although she prefers to say 1953.
Barbara Kingsbury was born in Bluefields, Nicaragua. Some sources give her birth year as 1947 or 1951, but most list 1945.
She was stunning.

I remember first seeing her in Centennial (1978) opposite DL icon Robert Conrad.

She was supposed to play Patsy Stone in an American remake of Absolutely Fabulous.

I was in a movie with her. O.K. fine, I was an extra. What's funny though is that it's NOT on little Miss Debbie Boone's IMDB page.

She started with the camp early in her career, she was in the hilarious volcano disaster movie "When Time Ran Out" in 1980, and even earlier, she played a cat-woman in the dreadful version of "Island of Dr. Moreau" in 1977, with Michael York and Burt Lancaster. And my favorite, as a villainess who could overdress while waterskiing, in the Bond film "Never Say Never Again", in 1983.
She should be our goddess! Camp as a row of tents onscreen, got all the prime dick she could in real life, while the getting was good.

No wonder her season became the dream season on Dallas. This would have been overdressed even on Dynasty.

Shame on the twats above who took MISS TIA CARRERE, on RuPaul's series, for la Señorita Barbara Carrera. As charming as Miss Tia is, of course.
