I first saw him at a Peaches concert in 2006. He was the opening act and I thought he was a total mess. His music was all cringe. I was in the front row and remember he crouched down and cradled my face at one point. And when he got up, I noticed his legs were totally butchered. MAJOR cutter. I had never seen anything like that before. He also seemed like he was on drugs, but when you look like he does, you never know. I'm guessing he has a history with addiction though.

That said, I find it surreal he's sitting in this YouTube palace now making 20-minute breakup videos. He talks about his dad in the video, who committed suicide when he was 6, as well as his mom and 102-year-old grandmother who also live with him. So as much as I can't stand all these fame-obsessed YouTube personalities, their stupid products, and their throwaway racist remarks, Star is doing a good thing providing for the family that fucked up his childhood. This breakup, on the other hand, I couldn't care less about.

So much Drama.

Jeffree is not a good person. Not shocked by the breakup at all.

Romance is dead

So I avoided any knowledge of this...person until I this story. (Boring Sunday). Seems like a truly messed up individual - father suicide, didn’t talk to his mother for 10 years because they “disagreed a lot”, she was homeless for years while they didn’t talk, he lied that his aunt was his mother, he was an extreme cutter. He is someone who is going to over-attach to a partner and be really high maintenance. Danger, Will Robinson!

I’m still confused how he makes so much money. But then I’m pretty sure he will blow through it all and end up a methed out homeless 40 year old - unless he walks away from the fame and gets full time intensive counseling.

R26 ironically if you watch his videos and particularly the docuseries he did with Shane, he comes across as pretty well adjusted and normal minus his over the top, shallow lifestyle. He’s very able to verbalize his past struggles and the manner in which he overcame. He has decent conversations with others from employees to guests on his channel, listens to them, looks them in the eye and comes across as down to earth. Having said that, there’s obviously still a lot of issues there being masked by success. It’s evident in his and Nate’s over-attachment to and over-dependence on their dogs.

Based on the gossip sites, there were rumors back in September that the relationship was heading to a break-up. Nate was apparently seeing a woman (with Jeffree's knowledge) and Jeffree mentions that Nate is into both men and women in a couple videos this fall. The scoop was that Nate was extricating himself out of the relationship with Jeffree slowly as they have pretty intertwined lives. Apparently the rumor is that Jeffree wanted Nate to stay with him and date the woman but Nate wanted out. Then one of the dogs died in October and the break up was delayed. They also had a bunch of videos ready and the Bora Bora trip planned and the move to the new house so the timeline was a little dragged out but it has been happening since Nate started dating this woman in September.

The whole situation is so fucked up. Jeffree is definitely someone I am intrigued and repulsed by at the same time. Nathan has been seen "liking" Instagram posts by Aubrey Kate (a TS pornstar), so I think a TS is probably the next relationship for Nate. I saw his nude pics and he does have a pretty big schlong, but knowing that it has been inside J* bareback makes me pretty turned off and actually nauseous. J* is probably one of the ugliest people I've ever seen...he and John Boyega to me both make me equally disgusted by their faces.

This is so awful. I'm completely bereft.

The person upthread who said Jeffree is not a good person hit the nail on the head. Spiritually, he's a pile of garbage and has no real talent or redeeming qualities.

The reason he's so successful is because he's part of a social engineering experiment to steer the youth on a downward spiral. He's an amusing distraction meant to keep his fans marginalized.
