They were gonna make a sequel. Liam Neeson goes back into the forest and finds Nell's gay brother. It was to be called "Nelly".

It's due for a re-make: "Neil", starring Barron Trump.

I know the lesbians find her attractive, but that little show at R2 would have forevermore killed it for me.

Adapting an Oscar Wilde quote: One must have a heart of stone to watch Nell without laughing.

It seems like a grab at another Oscar. Was she nominated for that role?

Well, do at all costs avoid the movie, then. She goes on like that for 2 hours!

I remember watching the previews when it first came out. I thought - who in the hell would be able to sit through a movie like that? I still can't imagine but I guess a bunch of people did. I have never thought that Foster was a good actress though. I'm always amazed when people praise her and thinks she is fabulous. She hits it sometimes -- but that is only in certain scenes in certain movies. She can't sustain a whole film.

Please, Jodie Foster is brilliantly talented, as director and actor.
Nell certainly can be made fun of, but I found the very last scene incredibly moving.
