My 2019 favorites include the Art of Self-Defense, Us, Midsommor, Parasite, A Hole in the Ground, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, One Cut of the Dead, and the Irishman

Is Rotten Tomatoes used as much in other countries? There are some people in the US who vote down anything on Rotten Tomatoes if they don't like the content - think asshole, small-minded conservatives.

Of that list I'd have to say "The Lighthouse". Such a courageous film to make, so well-acted and made. And I'm glad it didn't just make $500,000 in the art houses- then disappear.

I’m going to rent it but it seems ‘visionary’ directors are a dime a dozen. I didn’t think Witch was all that.
I saw the Mr Rogers movie today and loved it. Kinda makes you want to be a better person. I don’t know how they did it for in about3 seconds I totally believed Hanks was Rogers.

Because of the list I just watched COLD CASE HAMMARSKJÖLD on Hulu and it was like a punch to the gut. A documentary that starts out in one direction but ends up going someplace unthinkable. Easy to watch, done surprisingly lightly but it becomes something literally world changing. A must see.

I don't trust rotten tomatoes. Owned by NBC universal. Trying to push an agenda

Because of the mr Roger's movie being so high on the list I watched it and loved it. Would have seen it sooner if i known it was directed by the same one who did last year's Will You Ever Forgive Me.
I cant wait to see Cold Case r5. Thanks fors for bring it to my attention. I watched American Factory loved it it was like it was filming at my job. They want us all to be the same and slaves/robots. Thank God we have a union. I started watching Recovery Boys but kinda bummed when it looked like they picked out the best looking drug addicts they could find.
RT is not always right but if it brings down just a little hacks like JJ Abrams and Michael Bay that is a good thing.
